Selected Scrappy Upgrade Objective

How Scrappy Works in ARC Raiders
Scrappy is a rooster linked to Nest and Workshop-side development. While a Raider is Topside, Scrappy passively gathers basic materials. Its upgrades improve that gathering benefit, making the system distinct from finding loot during a raid or extracting resources carried by your Raider.
Scrappy progression uses dedicated upgrade requirements. These requirements should not be confused with Workshop station upgrades, which govern crafting, weapon upgrades, and equipment repairs, or with Blueprints, which determine which recipes can be crafted. An upgraded Scrappy does not automatically grant Blueprint recipes or complete Workshop improvements.
Scrappy Levels and Upgrade Requirements
- Level 1: Scrappy’s starting level, available without material requirements.
- Level 2: Requires a Dog Collar.
- Level 3: Requires Lemons and Apricots.
- Level 4: Requires Prickly Pears, Olives, and a Cat Bed.
- Level 5: Requires Mushrooms, Apricots, and Very Comfortable Pillows.
Related Systems and Reset Conditions
Required materials are connected to normal loot categories, including Residential, Commercial, and Nature finds, but specific locations, availability, and quantities obtained during Topside activity can vary. Scrappy is also independent of Raider XP: increasing your Raider Level grants Skill Points for the Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival branches, while Scrappy upgrades improve only Scrappy’s own gathering benefit. Expedition is a voluntary recurring reset system that can reset Workshop-related progress, including Scrappy progression, so consider current Expedition plans before committing to a higher Scrappy level.
