Vanduul Metal is an S1 harvestable crafting item looted from Vanduul pilot corpses in patch 4.4. You get manual in-game delivery, 1 to 100+ units, no account access. Players use it for Wikelo contracts, specifically crafting modified Boomtube weapons. Delivery happens 30 minutes to 3 hours after order via secure handoff at Stanton or Nyx stations. You provide in-game handle, region, meeting location.
This service uses delivery format only. You receive items via manual in-game handoff. No self-play, pilot, or remote options exist for item delivery in Star Citizen's current build. All transfers happen face-to-face at agreed station or outpost locations via trade window or secure container placement.
Vanduul Metal appeared in Alpha 4.4 as a harvestable crafting material from Vanduul Clans. Players obtain it by looting Vanduul pilot corpses during Vanduul-Tech Smugglers missions offered by Intersect Defense Solutions. The mission chain involves clearing derelict stations, auxiliary wrecks, and fighter waves in the Nyx system.
The item's primary use is Wikelo Emporium contracts. According to confirmed contract data, players need 2x Vanduul Metal + 2x Vanduul Plating + 1 standard Boomtube to receive the Boomtube "Clanguard" rocket launcher. This modified Boomtube has Vanduul materials integrated into its construction.
Farming Vanduul Metal requires multiple mission phases: reach Junior Contractor rank with Intersect Defense Solutions, complete combat encounters at QV Station, clear Vanduul ambushes on Polaris wreck, search auxiliary station derelicts, and loot specific Vanduul corpses. Each full mission run yields varying amounts based on corpse spawns and loot RNG.
