What Are Sealed Dungeons in Aion 2?

Sealed Dungeons are short solo instances hidden throughout the open world. Undiscovered entrances appear as question marks on the map and become part of the region's Exploration progress once found.

Most runs contain several groups of enemies and may finish with a named boss. They are considerably shorter than regular Expeditions and do not use the weekly Expedition, Daily Dungeon or Odyle reward counters.

The main reason to clear them is permanent progression. Your own faction's Sealed Dungeons provide Daevanion Crystals and Wisdom Stones alongside enhancement and wing resources, making them valuable even after you have already reached Level 45.

Sealed Dungeon First-Clear Rewards

A standard Sealed Dungeon on your own faction's map currently provides the same core reward package:

The exact Statue Scrap differs by faction. Elyos receive materials connected to Day Illusion Wings, while Asmodians receive the corresponding Night Illusion Wings materials.

120 Daevanion Points and 120 Skill Points

Verteron and Altgard each contain 60 standard faction Sealed Dungeons. Every home-faction clear provides two Daevanion Crystals and two Wisdom Stones.

Completing all 60 standard dungeons therefore provides 120 Daevanion Crystals and 120 Wisdom Stones. Each crystal contributes a Daevanion Point when used, while each Wisdom Stone grants a Skill Point.

This makes a full Sealed Dungeon clear one of the most valuable permanent map-completion upgrades for a character. The reward is not temporary gear that will immediately be replaced: Daevanion and Skill Point progression continues to support your build at endgame.

Why Daevanion Crystals Matter

Daevanion Crystals feed directly into the Daevanion Board, Aion 2's permanent class-progression system. Daevanion Points are used to advance connected nodes that improve skills and provide additional combat stats.

Leaving a large number of Sealed Dungeons unfinished therefore means leaving permanent Daevanion progression on the map. Clearing them later at Level 45 is usually faster than doing each dungeon exactly at its recommended leveling range, because stronger gear allows many encounters to be completed quickly.

Wisdom Stones and Permanent Skill Points

Each standard home-faction Sealed Dungeon also gives two Wisdom Stones. These provide Skill Points used for character skill progression.

A full regional clear therefore contributes a substantial number of permanent Skill Points without requiring repeatable dungeon farming. This is one of the main reasons Sealed Dungeons remain relevant after leveling rather than becoming disposable low-level content.

Wing Materials from Sealed Dungeons

Sealed Dungeons are also a major source of faction-specific wing materials. Standard clears provide Sealed Wing Featherdown together with Statue Scraps for your faction's Illusion Wings.

These materials accumulate naturally while the dungeon set is completed. The Level 45 Ruins of the Ancient City of Roah is especially valuable because its own-faction completion reward increases the wing-material portion to 20 Sealed Wing Featherdown and 20 corresponding Statue Scraps.

The special Ruins clear also retains the Daevanion Crystal, Wisdom Stone, Enhance Stone and title components of the progression reward.

Unique Titles from Sealed Dungeons

Each standard home-faction Sealed Dungeon awards its own title on first completion. Completing the full regional set therefore expands your title collection at the same time as you collect Skill Points and Daevanion progression.

The awarded title depends on the dungeon rather than being selected manually. The service includes every title naturally earned from the purchased dungeon clears.

Verteron and Altgard Sealed Dungeons

Verteron is the main home-region Sealed Dungeon set for Elyos. Altgard serves the same role for Asmodians. Both regions contain dungeons spread across multiple leveling zones, with recommended levels increasing as you move deeper into the map.

You do not need to remember which entrances have already been completed. Before starting a larger package, we check the Exploration progress and clear only the Sealed Dungeons still missing on the account.

This also makes partial completion possible. If you already finished part of your faction's map while leveling, you can order the remaining dungeons instead of paying for completed content again.

Enemy-Faction Sealed Dungeon Rewards

Sealed Dungeons can also be encountered in the opposing faction's region through the relevant cross-faction progression and Spacetime Rift access. Their reward table is different from the one used on your home map.

An enemy-region clear currently awards 15,000 Bound Kina, 1,000 Abyss Points and 2,500 Enhance Stones instead of the home-faction Daevanion Crystals, Wisdom Stones, wing materials and title package.

Enemy-region clears should therefore be treated as a separate objective. They are useful for additional AP and Enhance Stones, but they are not a replacement for completing the permanent Daevanion and Skill Point rewards in your own faction's region.

Ruins of the Ancient City of Roah

The Level 45 Ruins of the Ancient City of Roah is the special high-level Sealed Dungeon included separately from the 60 standard regional entries. It contains multiple Level 45 named bosses, including Idris, Power-Possessed Kianah and Obsessive Lithla.

For the character's own faction version, the dungeon provides significantly more wing material than a normal Sealed Dungeon: 20 Sealed Wing Featherdown and 20 faction-specific Statue Scraps, together with Daevanion Crystals, Wisdom Stones and its unique title.

If this dungeon is included in the purchased package, we confirm that your character is ready for the Level 45 encounter before using it as part of the completion route.
