Buy ASD Access Card: Excavation in Star Citizen

Buy the ASD Access Card: Excavation in Star Citizen and get the keycard required to access the restricted excavation site inside the ASD Onyx Facility. This is a specific facility access item, not a generic keycard, data drive or substitute access device.

The card is currently obtainable as loot and does not have a regular NPC shop location. If you need access to the excavation section without relying on finding the card during your own Onyx runs, you can order one and receive it through a coordinated in-game handoff.

What Is the ASD Access Card: Excavation?

The ASD Access Card: Excavation is a physical system-access item associated with Associated Sciences & Development's Onyx Facility. Its purpose is straightforward: the card provides access to the facility's excavation site.

It is classified as a lootable access device. Current LIVE data does not list an NPC shop selling the card, and there is no crafting blueprint for it. That makes obtaining the actual card dependent on loot or acquiring one from another player.

What Does the Excavation Access Card Unlock?

The card is designed specifically for the excavation area of the Onyx Facility. The Onyx Facility is an abandoned underground ASD research complex in the Stanton system with multiple distinct areas, including Engineering, Research and deeper restricted sections.

This distinction matters because Star Citizen contains several ASD-related access devices and mission items. The Excavation card should not be confused with the ASD Secure Drive, research-related data drives or other keycards used for different doors and objectives.

ASD Onyx Facility Access

Onyx Facilities are underground research locations connected with investigation and exploration content. The complexes contain multiple sectors, laboratories, industrial areas and restricted spaces, so possessing the correct access item can determine which route or section you can enter during a run.

The ASD Access Card: Excavation is intended for the excavation section specifically. It does not automatically replace other access requirements you may encounter elsewhere inside the facility.

How to Get the ASD Access Card: Excavation

Current Star Citizen data lists the Excavation card as a lootable item. It is not currently sold through a standard NPC shop and cannot be crafted from a blueprint.

That means players normally have to obtain the card while exploring and looting relevant content or acquire an existing card from another player. Because loot availability can vary between runs, purchasing the item is useful when your objective is reaching the excavation area rather than repeatedly searching for the access card itself.

How Delivery Works

Select the ASD Access Card: Excavation and complete your order. Our team will coordinate a server and meeting location with you and transfer the physical item using an available in-game handoff method.

You remain on your own Star Citizen account throughout a standard item delivery. Your RSI password is not required.

This product includes the ASD Access Card: Excavation itself. It does not include automatic completion of an Onyx Facility mission, additional ASD keycards, data drives or a full facility run unless those services are explicitly selected separately.

Why Buy the Excavation Access Card?

The main advantage is skipping the random acquisition step. If your goal is to explore the excavation area, having the correct keycard before entering the relevant part of the facility removes the need to depend on finding another copy during the same session.
