Corbel is a Heavy Utility Armor family originally developed by Clark Defense Systems as a strength-enhancement suit for industrial workers. Its reinforced plating and pneumatic joint system later proved useful as protective combat and utility equipment.

What Is Corbel Armor?

Corbel is Heavy Armor manufactured by Clark Defense Systems. The armor combines triple-reinforced protective plating with pneumatic levers positioned around the joints to reduce the mobility penalties normally associated with heavy protective equipment.

Corbel Armor Set Pieces

The standard armor configuration sold on this page contains four primary pieces:

• Corbel Helmet — Heavy Helmet with integrated visor and FPS radar hardware.
• Corbel Core — Heavy torso armor with weapon, magazine, utility and backpack attachment ports.
• Corbel Arms — Matching Heavy arm protection.
• Corbel Legs — Heavy leg protection with utility, sidearm and consumable attachment capacity.

Matching Novikov backpacks exist for several Corbel variants, but a backpack should only be considered included when it is explicitly listed in the selected product option.

Corbel Armor Variants

Corbel Mire Armor

Corbel Mire uses a dark green and black color scheme with gold accents. It is one of the most important variants because it is both wearable Heavy Armor and connected to the current Wikelo progression path for Corbel Crush.

Current LIVE data lists Mire Helmet, Core, Arms and Legs as both lootable and craftable. The armor can currently be found at ASD Site-B.

A matching Novikov Backpack Mire also exists as a separate equipment item.

Corbel Smolder Armor

Corbel Smolder uses a primarily gray and black finish with strong red sections. Like the other standard variants on this page, its primary armor components are currently lootable and craftable.

Smolder equipment can currently be obtained through ASD Site-B loot or produced with the corresponding Grade 1 crafting blueprints.

Corbel Patina Armor

Corbel Patina uses a softer teal-toned finish with darker and bronze detailing.

Current Patina Helmet, Core, Arms and Legs are listed as lootable and craftable. ASD Site-B is the documented current loot location for this variant.

Corbel Halcyon Armor

Corbel Halcyon has the most contrasting appearance of the four variants, combining bold yellow surfaces with black sections.

Halcyon armor is also currently available through ASD Site-B loot and Grade 1 crafting blueprints.

Can You Craft Corbel Armor?

Yes. Mire, Smolder, Patina and Halcyon currently have Grade 1 crafting blueprints for their primary armor components.

The recipes use three main materials:

• Laranite — Casing;
• Aslarite — Insulative Liner;
• Titanium — Casing Weave.

A complete four-piece configuration therefore requires approximately 0.24 SCU Laranite, 0.07 SCU Aslarite and 0.24 SCU Titanium under the current Grade 1 recipes.

Corbel Mire and Wikelo

Corbel Mire also has a specific role in the current Wikelo system. The Shiny Builder Suit collection contract uses a full Mire armor configuration together with a matching Novikov Backpack Mire and additional materials to create the special Corbel Crush equipment.

Corbel Crush is a separate reward and should not be treated as another ordinary selectable color on this product.

Does Corbel Armor Include a Backpack?

The primary Corbel armor set consists of Helmet, Core, Arms and Legs. Matching Novikov backpacks exist for Mire, Smolder, Patina and Halcyon, but they are separate equipment items.

The Corbel Core can equip an S1–S3 backpack. If a matching backpack is required, confirm that it is explicitly included in your selected option before ordering.

Corbel Core Equipment Capacity

The Heavy Core currently supports several equipment attachments, including:

• up to 8 spare magazines;
• S1–S3 backpack support;
• S1–S2 utility item;
• one secondary weapon;
• one primary weapon;
• up to 4 combat throwables.
