Geist ASD Edition is a special variant of the Geist Stealth Armor family. The main armor pieces are manufactured by Kilgore & Poole and use the Geist line's military-grade carbon-silk construction. The current in-game description emphasizes emission masking and footstep dampening, while the ASD Edition uses a distinctive dark urban camouflage pattern with the ASD logo.

What Is Geist Armor ASD Edition?

The ASD Edition is a Light Armor variant within the Geist Stealth family. It keeps the same lightweight tactical concept as the standard Geist equipment while using the ASD visual treatment.

The current Geist description states that hair-thin carbon-silk filaments are designed to mask the wearer's emissions and that specialized tubing in the footwear dampens footstep noise. These characteristics define the stealth theme of the armor line, although exact gameplay effectiveness remains dependent on the current LIVE implementation and balance.

Geist ASD is modular. This is useful if you already own most of the set and only need one missing piece.

Geist Armor Helmet ASD Edition

The Geist Armor Helmet ASD Edition is the matching light helmet for the set. Current LIVE data lists the Helmet as both lootable and craftable.

If the Helmet is the only component missing from your existing ASD equipment, you do not need to replace the full set. Select the individual component where that option is available.

Geist Armor Core ASD Edition

The Geist Armor Core ASD Edition is the light torso component and provides the attachment structure for the main loadout. Current item data includes support for a Size 1 backpack, spare magazines, a primary weapon, throwables and utility equipment.

The Core is both lootable and craftable in the current LIVE build.

Geist Armor Arms and Legs ASD Edition

The Geist Armor Arms ASD Edition and Geist Armor Legs ASD Edition complete the four-piece armor configuration. Both currently have reusable crafting blueprints in addition to loot acquisition.

The Legs variant also carries the ASD visual identity, including the dark urban camo treatment associated with the Edition.

Geist Backpack ASD Edition

The Geist Backpack ASD Edition is the matching backpack for the set and is particularly relevant because players already search for it separately from the armor pieces.

Unlike the four primary armor components, the current ASD Backpack is lootable but does not have a crafting blueprint. This means owning the four armor blueprints does not automatically allow you to manufacture the complete five-piece equipment setup.

If your order is for a complete set, check whether the Backpack is included in the selected product option. A four-piece armor set and a five-piece equipment setup with Backpack are not necessarily the same configuration.

Can You Craft Geist ASD Armor?

Yes. The four primary ASD armor components currently have crafting blueprints. Their recipes use Taranite, Aslarite and Stileron.

The Geist Backpack ASD Edition is currently the exception: it has no corresponding crafting blueprint.

How to Get Geist ASD Armor in Star Citizen

Current acquisition data gives players two main routes for the primary ASD armor pieces:

• Loot: Obtain the appropriate Geist ASD components through current loot sources.

The Backpack differs because it currently has loot acquisition but no crafting blueprint.

No normal NPC shop source is currently listed for the individual ASD armor pieces, so completing an exact matching set can take longer than simply buying common armor from a standard equipment terminal.
