One of the most important current uses for Heart of the Woods is Rayari Incorporated progression. The Additional Resources For Research collection contract requires 15 Heart of the Woods and rewards Rayari faction reputation when completed.

Because the contract requires the specific resource, other mushrooms or organic harvestables cannot replace it. If you already have the Rayari mission and only need the required materials, ordering the exact quantity can remove the harvesting step from the objective.
