How the WoW Forever Profession Kit Works
- Select your region. Choose EU or US.
- Choose your crafting profession. Select the profession you want to level.
- Add another profession if needed. A second primary profession can be added when available.
- Add Cooking or First Aid. Select optional secondary profession kits if you need them.
- Enter your character details. We use them to coordinate the material delivery.
- Receive the reagents. The prepared profession materials are sent through in-game mail.
- Learn the required profession ranks and recipes.
- Craft the items yourself. Use the delivered materials to progress toward 300 skill.
You do not need to schedule a piloted session or give another player access to your account. Once the materials arrive, you can continue the profession progression on your own schedule.
Available WoW Forever Profession Kits
Profession Kits are designed primarily for professions that gain skill by crafting items from reagents. Each profession needs a different material package, so the contents are prepared specifically for the profession selected in your order.
| Profession | Typical Material Types | What the Profession Is Used For |
|---|---|---|
| Alchemy | Herbs, vials and Alchemy reagents | Potions, elixirs and other consumables |
| Blacksmithing | Bars, ore-derived materials, stone and supporting reagents | Weapons, armor and crafted equipment |
| Enchanting | Dust, essences, shards and enchanting reagents | Equipment enchants and profession crafts |
| Engineering | Metal, stone, mechanical components, cloth and specialty reagents | Devices, explosives, utility items and equipment |
| Leatherworking | Leather, hides, scales and supporting materials | Leather and Mail equipment, kits and crafted items |
| Tailoring | Cloth, bolts, thread, dyes and other reagents | Cloth equipment, bags and crafted items |
| Cooking | Food ingredients and cooking reagents | Food, buffs and Cooking progression |
| First Aid | Cloth and other required reagents | Bandages, curatives and First Aid progression |
Gathering professions such as Mining, Herbalism and Skinning work differently because their skill is primarily increased by gathering resources in the world. They are therefore not handled as normal reagent kits.
Why a Profession Kit Saves So Much Time
Leveling a crafting profession to 300 can require many different materials from multiple parts of Azeroth. Doing everything yourself means finding the right farming locations, collecting large quantities of reagents, monitoring the Auction House and travelling between vendors, trainers and crafting locations.
A Profession Kit removes the material-acquisition grind from that process.
- No hours of material farming: skip repetitive gathering across multiple zones.
- No shopping for every reagent separately: the package is prepared around the selected profession route.
- No account sharing: you remain the only person controlling your character.
- Mailbox delivery: reagents arrive directly on the character that will use them.
- Craft when you want: after delivery, continue the profession at your own pace.
- Useful for mains and alts: avoid repeating the same material grind on every character.
Profession Skill 1–300 in WoW Forever
WoW Forever professions progress through the familiar profession ranks:
| Profession Rank | Skill Range |
|---|---|
| Apprentice | Early profession progression |
| Journeyman | Progression toward 150 skill |
| Expert | Progression toward 225 skill |
| Artisan | Advanced progression toward 300 skill |
The complete kit is prepared for progression toward 300 profession skill. You still need to learn the profession ranks and recipes required by the route because those unlocks happen on your own character.
Profession Kits and Legacy Points
Crafting professions have additional account-wide value in WoW Forever through the Legacy System.
Each non-gathering primary profession has Legacy Challenges at 150, 225 and 300 skill. Completing those milestones for the first time awards Legacy Points that are shared across eligible characters on your Battle.net account.
Across Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking and Tailoring, profession progression can contribute up to 18 Legacy Points.
A Profession Kit does not grant the Legacy Points directly. It provides the materials that let you work toward those profession milestones yourself without first farming the full reagent list.
Materials Are Prepared for a Profession Leveling Route
A 1–300 kit is not simply a random collection of cloth, herbs, bars or other resources. The material package is prepared around the crafting requirements of the selected profession progression.
Profession leveling normally uses several different recipes as skill increases. When one craft stops being efficient for skill-ups, progression moves to another suitable recipe and therefore to a different set of reagents.
WoW Forever also adds hundreds of new profession recipes, so the material requirements can differ from old Classic profession routes. Kits are prepared according to the current Forever profession setup rather than treating an old 1–300 list as automatically correct.
Actual material consumption can still vary slightly because profession skill-ups follow normal in-game mechanics. Some recipes can become less reliable for gaining a skill point as your profession advances.
All Reagents Delivered Through In-Game Mail
The prepared materials are sent directly to the character specified in your order through the World of Warcraft mailbox.
A full profession kit can contain many different reagent types and stacks, so larger orders may arrive in multiple mail messages. Make sure your character has enough mailbox, bag or bank space before you begin crafting.
Because delivery is handled through in-game mail, you do not need to stay online for a live trade and you do not need to provide account access.
What You Still Need to Do Yourself
The Profession Kit removes the material farming. You remain responsible for the actual profession progression.
- Learn the selected profession on your character.
- Train higher profession ranks when required.
- Learn the recipes needed for progression.
- Collect the delivered reagents from your mailbox.
- Craft the required items yourself.
- Continue until you reach the target profession skill.
Some recipes in WoW Forever can come from trainers, vendors, quests, reputation rewards, dungeon Blueprints or other unlocks. The kit supplies the reagents; it does not automatically complete those unlock requirements unless a specific product option explicitly says otherwise.

Prepare Two Professions on the Same Character
A WoW Forever character can learn up to two primary professions. If you want to prepare both crafting professions without farming two separate reagent lists, add the available second-profession option to your order.
This is especially useful for profession combinations that support the same character or account progression. You can also add Cooking or First Aid when those options are available.
Each selected profession receives its own required reagent package because Alchemy, Engineering, Tailoring and other crafts use completely different materials and leveling routes.
Profession Kits for Alts
Profession Kits are also useful when preparing multiple characters. Instead of repeating the same material-farming process on every alt, select the crafting profession you want and have its materials delivered directly to that character.
Because Legacy Points are account-wide for eligible characters, developing different crafting professions across your roster can also contribute to wider account progression.
