Choose Your WoW Forever Profession Boost

WoW Forever has nine primary professions and three secondary professions. A character can learn two primary professions at the same time, while Cooking, Fishing, and First Aid can all be learned in addition to them.

The Legacy milestones shown above apply specifically to the six non-gathering primary professions. Gathering professions and secondary professions have their own benefits but do not award these 150 / 225 / 300 Tradeskill Legacy Challenges.

Profession Boost or Self-Play Profession Kit?

There are two different ways to skip the slowest part of profession progression.

If you want to craft yourself without farming the required materials, choose our WoW Forever Profession Kits.

Profession Kits are different from a piloted profession leveling service. The kit supplies the supported material route; you are responsible for learning the required profession ranks and recipes and performing the actual crafts unless the selected option explicitly states otherwise.

WoW Forever Profession Leveling 1-300

The maximum normal profession skill in WoW Forever is 300. Profession progression still follows the familiar four skill tiers:

Crafting professions gain skill by creating suitable recipes, gathering professions progress through eligible resource nodes or creatures, while Fishing, Cooking, and First Aid use their own profession-specific activities.

The exact route is different for every profession. A recipe or gathering source that gives useful skill-ups at one point can become inefficient later, so there is no single universal 1-300 route that works for every trade.

What Changes for Professions in WoW Forever?

Professions are more important in Forever than simply reaching 300 and crafting Classic items. Blizzard has expanded the system with several new progression layers:

• 600+ new profession recipes across different professions and level ranges;
• Camping features created by every profession;
• advanced Blueprint recipes connected to dungeon and raid drops;
• new profession activities connected to the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics;
• Merchant's Favor used for profession-related vendor rewards;
• Legacy Challenges for the six non-gathering primary professions.

Reaching skill 300 is therefore an important profession milestone, but it does not automatically unlock every recipe, Blueprint, profession certification, or vendor reward.

Profession Legacy Points at 150, 225 and 300

WoW Forever includes 18 profession-related Legacy Challenges. Each of the six non-gathering primary professions awards one account-wide Legacy Point when that profession first reaches:

• 150 skill;
• 225 skill;
• 300 skill.

Legacy Points are account-wide for supported non-Hardcore characters. Once a profession milestone has already been completed, repeating the same challenge does not generate another point.

WoW Forever Profession Bonuses and Camping

Every profession contributes to the new Camping system. A Basic Campfire can support profession-made features that provide buffs, services, crafting functions or other group utility.

The first profession Camping feature becomes available at approximately skill 20. More advanced profession objects require higher skill and can come from Blueprint recipes obtained through dungeon or raid content.

Examples confirmed by Blizzard include:

• Blacksmithing: Sharpening Wheel;
• Tailoring: Faction Banner;
• Herbalism: Incense Candle;
• Leatherworking: Camp Tent;
• Engineering: Reagent Bot;
• Enchanting: Enchanted Lute;
• Fishing: Fishing Bowl;
• First Aid: First Aid Kit.

These benefits give professions value outside traditional crafting and gathering. You can also benefit from profession features placed by other players at a campsite, so you do not need to personally learn every profession to use every camp benefit.

Merchant's Favor, Recipes and Profession Certifications

WoW Forever also connects professions to the new trading organizations: the Azeroth Commerce Authority for Alliance and Durotar Supply and Logistics for Horde.

Their activities can award Merchant's Favor, a separate currency used for profession-related recipes, certifications and other vendor rewards.

This distinction is important:

• 300 profession skill completes your normal skill progression;
• Merchant's Favor is a separate spendable currency;
• profession certifications have their own requirements;
• Blueprint recipes may need to be obtained from specific content;
• rare or vendor recipes are not automatically learned just because the profession reaches 300.

Which Profession Should You Level?

There is no single permanently best profession for every character. Class, PvE or PvP goals, desired recipes, realm economy, Camping utility and whether you want to gather your own materials can all change the best choice.
