Platinum Coins Farm — MoP Classic Challenge Mode Currency
This service farms Platinum Coins on your character through manual Challenge Mode clears completed inside Platinum times. Coins are spent at the Shrine vendors on mounts, recolored Challenge Mode transmog sets, tabards and toys, most of which were previously obtainable only through Trading Card Game loot cards.
What You Get
- Currency: the ordered amount of Platinum Coins on your character.
- Per clear: 3 Platinum Coins from the Satchel of Shining Curiosities, awarded on every Platinum-time completion.
- Along the way: Challenge Mode dungeon toys, Gold, Silver and Bronze medal rewards where not already earned.
- Satchel extras: potions and flasks as common contents, with a chance at pets or legacy mounts.
How Platinum Coins Are Earned
Platinum Coins come from Challenge Mode dungeons completed inside the Platinum time threshold. Each qualifying clear awards a Satchel of Shining Curiosities containing 3 coins, and the reward repeats on every clear rather than only the first. Challenge Conqueror: Platinum meta achievements award a one-time coin bonus on top.
- Per Platinum clear: 3 coins.
- Full 9-dungeon round: 27 coins.
- Weekly cap: none — the farm is limited by run count, not by reset.
- Gear requirement: none — Challenge Mode scales all gear to item level 463.
How Many Runs Each Reward Costs
Vendor prices convert directly into run counts at 3 coins per Platinum clear. This is what the farm actually costs in playtime.
| Reward | Coins | Platinum clears |
|---|---|---|
| Transmog piece (single) | 5 | 2 |
| Toy or pet | 15–30 | 5–10 |
| Tabard | 30 | 10 |
| Full recolored transmog set | 40 | 14 |
| Wooly White Rhino | 40 | 14 |
| Magic Rooster Egg | 50 | 17 |
| Mounts, upper range | up to 70 | 24 |

Why This Vendor Matters
Most of the Platinum Coin inventory consists of items that were previously available only through Trading Card Game loot cards. The Magic Rooster Egg and the Wooly White Rhino are the clearest examples: outside MoP Classic they trade on the collectors' market rather than being farmable at all. Platinum Coins are the only in-game route to them on these realms, which is what separates this currency from ordinary cosmetic vendors.
Where to Spend Them
The Platinum Coin vendors sit on the upper levels of the faction shrines, near the Celestial item vendors. Jaelof Ironhart serves Alliance characters in the Shrine of Seven Stars; Viktor Felhallow serves Horde characters in the Shrine of Two Moons. There is no stock rotation and no weekly purchase limit, so coins can be spent in any order once earned.
What to Buy First
- Collecting mounts: take the Magic Rooster Egg or the Wooly White Rhino first — they are the only items here with no alternative source.
- Building a look: buy transmog by the piece at 5 coins to fill gaps, and only take the full set at 40 once the pieces you actually wear are covered.
- Short on coins: toys at 15 coins clear in five runs and give the fastest visible progress.
- Already hold the Phoenix: skip the Pandaren Phoenix colours — a Silver medal clear already grants the Ancestral Phoenix Egg for one colour.
No Weekly Cap, No Rotation
Platinum Coins carry no weekly earning cap and the vendor stock does not rotate, so nothing about this farm expires on a timer. The constraint is run volume: a 50-coin mount means roughly seventeen dungeons cleared inside Platinum times, each requiring a coordinated group and a clean route. That is the cost this service removes.
How the Service Runs
Runs are executed manually by a coordinated Challenge Mode team on live realms, with VPN encryption matched to your region and legit gameplay throughout. Delivery scales with the ordered coin amount; larger orders are scheduled across sessions rather than a single sitting.
- Currency: the ordered amount of Platinum Coins, at 3 per Platinum-time clear.
- Access to the vendor: TCG-legacy mounts, recolored transmog sets, tabards and toys at the Shrine vendors.
- Extras: Challenge Mode dungeon toys and any lower medal rewards not yet earned.
- Character: level 90 on a Mists of Pandaria Classic realm.
- Account: active subscription; no gear requirement, all gear scales to item level 463.
- Note: coins are spent at your faction's Shrine vendor — Alliance in Seven Stars, Horde in Two Moons.
