How Ammo Compatibility Works in ARC Raiders
Every weapon has a defined ammunition type. Light, Medium, Heavy, Shotgun, Launcher, and Energy ammunition are not interchangeable. Carrying the wrong ammo will not provide additional shots for a weapon that uses a different type.
Check the Ammo Type displayed in the weapon’s in-game information before placing the order. Weapon rarity, appearance, or general class is not enough to determine compatibility. This is especially important for specialized weapons because a shotgun-shaped or high-tech weapon may use Energy Clips instead of regular Shotgun Ammo.
- Match the selected ammunition to the exact weapon.
- Check both the equipped weapon and any backup weapon in the loadout.
- Order enough ammunition for the intended number and type of Topside runs.
- Leave sufficient Stash and inventory space for the purchased quantity.
Prepare Ammo for PvE, PvP, and Loot Runs
Ammunition is consumed whenever compatible weapons are fired against ARC machines or other Raiders. The amount required depends on the weapon, magazine size, fire rate, accuracy, target armor, and length of the run. A controlled PvE route may consume less ammunition than a prolonged boss encounter or a contested PvP extraction.
Light and Medium Ammo can support regular loadouts, while Heavy, Launcher, Shotgun, and Energy ammunition may be required for more specialized weapons. The product does not assign a weapon or build automatically, so the customer should select the ammunition that matches the prepared loadout.
Purchased ammo can be stored for future runs or prepared as part of a complete loadout. Once taken Topside, it follows the normal inventory and extraction rules of ARC Raiders. Ammunition carried outside protected inventory can be lost under regular match conditions.
How ARC Raiders Ammo Delivery Works
The ordered ammunition is delivered using the method stated in the product configuration and order instructions. Item delivery may require a coordinated in-game meeting or Topside run. Be ready to follow the provided instructions and keep enough inventory space available for the selected quantity.
After receiving the ammo, it becomes part of the customer’s normal game inventory. Extraction conditions, inventory limits, Safe Pocket capabilities, and the risk of later Topside runs continue to apply. The service does not provide unlimited ammunition or automatically replace ammo lost after completed delivery.
