Immortal Spelunker should not be confused with Undying Caver. Undying Caver requires a deathless Tier 8 or higher completion, while Immortal Spelunker specifically requires Tier 11.

Self-Play is available because the achievement does not require a solo completion. However, every additional participant affects scaling and introduces another possible death condition. The assigned player may therefore choose the smallest reliable group for the character, specialization and current Delve rotation.
What Happens If a Death Occurs?
A run with a character death does not satisfy the achievement, even if the Delve is subsequently completed with remaining revives. In that situation, the attempt must be reset or another eligible Tier 11 Delve must be completed without deaths.
The order is measured by the successful achievement unlock, not by the number of attempts. Ordinary disconnects, unexpected mechanics and failed attempts can change the completion time.
Loot and Great Vault Progress
You keep all regular loot, currencies, companion experience and other eligible rewards earned during the qualifying run. A completed Tier 11 Delve can also contribute toward a World Activity choice in the Great Vault when it meets the current weekly rules.
The Great Vault does not award an item immediately. Qualifying activities unlock choices after the weekly reset, and only one item can be selected from the entire Vault. This product does not guarantee a particular Vault item, equipment slot or stat combination.
A Restored Coffer Key is required only if the selected Delve is Bountiful and you want to open its locked coffer. The key and Bountiful Coffer loot are not included automatically.
