Completing a Delve alone does not consume a key. The key is used only when the Bountiful Coffer is opened, allowing you to save available keys for the Delve tiers and characters that provide the most useful rewards.

How Restored Coffer Key Farming Works
Midnight uses Coffer Key Shards as the main repeatable route to restored keys. Every 100 eligible shards can be converted into one Restored Coffer Key. Conversion may occur when entering a Delve or through the relevant Delve NPC and game systems.
Shards can come from eligible Midnight activities such as weekly objectives, world quests, rare enemies, caches, events and Prey Hunts. The exact route is selected according to completed quests, current weekly availability and the character's existing shard total.
The seasonal shard cap limits how much repeatable progress can be earned during one weekly reset. Existing keys, one-time rewards and currently completed progress can affect the number available to farm. For larger orders, completion may therefore require more than one reset.
Restored Keys and Bountiful Delve Loot
This product delivers keys; it does not automatically include the Bountiful Delve clears needed to spend them. If you also need completed runs, use the WoW Delves Bundle and select the required number of Delves separately.
Bountiful Coffer gear depends on the Delve tier completed when the key is used. Higher tiers can improve the reward track up to the seasonal cap, but a key itself does not guarantee a particular item, armor slot, stat combination or upgrade.
