The Barrow Deeps is the first new 10-player raid in World of Warcraft: Forever. The underground complex is connected to Night Elf territory and contains dangerous prisoners that could not safely be held elsewhere.
Blizzard has announced three entrances to the raid across the world, including one in Mount Hyjal. The tunnels around Blackmaw Hold also lead toward the Barrow Deeps.
WoW Forever uses one fixed raid difficulty with no separate Normal, Heroic, or Mythic versions and no Flex scaling at launch.
The Barrow Deeps Bosses
The current WoW Forever beta Legacy data lists 8 encounters for the Conquerer of the Deeps challenge:

Pre-release note: these names currently come from the raid's Legacy challenge in the beta client. Blizzard has not yet confirmed the final live encounter order, mechanics, or boss loot tables.
The Barrow Deeps Loot and Tier Sets
The Barrow Deeps is part of the first WoW Forever raid tier and will provide new level 60 raid gear and progression toward the new class Tier Sets.
- Tier Set gear with new class and role-focused bonuses;
- weapons, armor, trinkets, and other raid equipment;
- rare boss-specific Chase Items;
- rewards connected to the first WoW Forever raid tier.
The final Barrow Deeps loot tables and boss-to-item assignments have not yet been published. Direct item links will be added once individual drops and their live sources are confirmed.
Rare Chase Items
Blizzard plans to place a rare Chase Item on every raid boss. These drops are designed to have a lower drop chance but unusually high value, helping older raids remain relevant even when new content becomes available.
With eight currently listed encounters, a full Barrow Deeps clear provides multiple chances at these rare rewards and makes repeat weekly runs useful for players targeting Best-in-Slot or build-defining gear.

Full 8/8 Barrow Deeps Raid Clear
The Full 8/8 Clear is designed to defeat every encounter currently associated with The Barrow Deeps. This gives your character the maximum boss coverage and loot opportunities from the selected run.
Completing all encounters also currently fulfills the Conquerer of the Deeps Legacy challenge, which awards 1 Legacy Point in the beta client.

- Self-Play: play your own character and join our organized 10-player raid team.
- Piloted: where available, the selected raid objective is completed on your character according to the service conditions.

The Barrow Deeps opens on December 9, 2026. Pre-orders can be placed before release, while the actual service starts once the raid becomes available on live servers.
