Hyjal Summit is one of the opening endgame raids in World of Warcraft: Forever. The raid begins near the World Tree Nordrassil and allows the group to follow multiple routes across Mount Hyjal, including areas above and below ground, before opening the way to the final encounters.

Full 13-Boss Hyjal Summit Clear

The Full Clear covers every Hyjal Summit encounter in the raid. Blizzard has officially confirmed a total of 13 bosses, making Hyjal Summit the largest of the three opening WoW Forever raids by encounter count.

The raid is not presented as a simple linear boss corridor. After the opening battle against an ancient guardian, the group can take multiple routes across the mountain, explore ruins above and below ground and work toward the final encounters.

For a buyer, the Full Clear is the most complete option because one run provides:

all 13 boss kills;
the maximum number of boss loot opportunities available from a single Hyjal Summit lockout;
progress toward new raid Tier gear;
opportunities for rare boss-specific Chase Items;
completion of the Hyjal raid Legacy Challenge if eligible.

Hyjal Summit Legacy Point

Defeating all 13 Hyjal Summit bosses completes the raid-related Legacy Challenge and awards 1 Legacy Point if your account has not completed it before.

This is separate from the raid's normal gear rewards. Even if a particular item does not drop during the run, completing all 13 encounters still contributes directly to your account-wide WoW Forever Legacy progression.

The two other opening raid Legacy objectives come from defeating Onyxia and completing all eight bosses in the Barrow Deeps, so players targeting all three raid Legacy Points will eventually need all three raids.

Hyjal Summit Loot and New Tier Sets

Hyjal Summit is part of the opening WoW Forever raid tier and is one of the main sources of level 60 raid progression. Blizzard has confirmed that the new raids introduce new Tier Sets and are connected to a new legendary reward.

Exact live boss-to-item sources are still being finalized, so we do not list unconfirmed weapons, trinkets or Tier pieces as guaranteed Hyjal Summit drops.

Expected raid reward categories include:

new class Tier Set pieces;
raid armor;
weapons;
trinkets;
rings, necklaces and other accessories;
rare Chase Items;
other boss-specific level 60 rewards.

Specific drops remain subject to the live loot table. A Full Clear guarantees the 13-boss completion, not a particular random item.

Rare Chase Items from Hyjal Summit Bosses

WoW Forever is designed to keep its raids relevant for longer rather than replacing every previous raid as soon as a new tier appears.

Blizzard developers have explained that raid bosses are planned to have rare Chase Items with lower drop rates and unusually strong effects. Hyjal Summit's 13 bosses therefore provide multiple potential Chase Item opportunities across a full clear.

These items are intentionally rare. Even with the strongest available loot-priority option, a Chase Item cannot be guaranteed unless the product explicitly lists that item as guaranteed.

Hyjal Summit Loot Priority

Available loot conditions are shown in the product configurator. Depending on the active raid setup, additional priority can be offered for armor, Tier pieces or a broader range of eligible gear.

Loot priority does not change the boss drop table. It improves your priority for eligible items after they drop. A specific Tier piece, weapon, trinket or Chase Item cannot be guaranteed unless that guarantee is explicitly shown in the product option.

Self-Play or Piloted Hyjal Summit Run

Self-Play: play your own character and join our organized 20-player raid at the confirmed time.
Pilot: an assigned player completes the selected Hyjal Summit objective on your character under the service conditions.

Self-Play is the best fit if you want to experience the new 13-boss raid yourself while avoiding the difficulty of finding, organizing and coordinating a complete 20-player group.

Raid-Specific Consumables for Mount Hyjal

WoW Forever adds special level 60 flasks with additional effects while you are inside Mount Hyjal, Hyjal Summit and the Barrow Deeps. These items are useful examples of how Forever expands raid preparation beyond the original Classic setup.

Flask of Natural Accuracy — grants Stamina and additional Hit Chance while in Hyjal content.
Flask of Natural Aggression — grants Stamina and additional Critical Strike Chance.
Flask of Natural Swiftness — grants Stamina and additional Haste.
Flask of Natural Precision — grants Stamina and reduces the chance for your attacks to be dodged or parried.

Consumables are character preparation and are not automatically part of the base Raid Boost unless your selected product option explicitly includes them.

Prepare for the Opening WoW Forever Raids
