Buy the WoW Forever Tier 0 Dungeon Set 1 Boost and collect the high-level dungeon armor set for your class. Choose 6/8 for all current Tier 0 set-bonus thresholds, complete the full 8/8 Dungeon Set 1, or farm only the specific missing pieces your character still needs.

Tier 0 gear comes from high-level dungeon progression rather than raids. The full set also provides the base armor required for the later Tier 0.5 / Dungeon Set 2 upgrade questline.

What Is Tier 0 in WoW Forever?

Tier 0 is the player name for Dungeon Set 1, the original eight-piece class armor collection obtained primarily from high-level dungeons such as Scholomance, Stratholme and Blackrock Spire.

Every WoW Forever class has its own Dungeon Set 1:

Tier 0 Is an 8-Piece Set

WoW Forever Dungeon Set 1 contains eight armor pieces:

• Head;
• Shoulders;
• Chest;
• Wrists;
• Hands;
• Waist;
• Legs;
• Feet.

However, Forever has changed how the set bonuses work. The current sets activate bonuses at 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 equipped pieces.

There is currently no additional 7-piece or 8-piece Tier 0 set bonus. Completing 8/8 is still useful for collectors and especially for players planning to upgrade the entire set into Dungeon Set 2.

Choose Your Tier 0 Gear Target

If your character already owns some Tier 0 items, only the missing pieces need to be targeted. Provide your current set progress before the service begins.

Where Does Tier 0 Gear Come From?

Dungeon Set 1 is primarily farmed from the major high-level dungeons of original Azeroth.

Several Tier 0 pieces are boss drops, while some slots can come from dungeon enemies and may be Bind on Equip. The exact route depends on your class and the pieces still missing.

Full 8/8 Tier 0 or 6/8 Max Bonuses?

WoW Forever creates an important choice that did not exist in the same way in original Classic.

Because the final current set-bonus threshold is reached at 6 equipped pieces, a character that only wants the combat bonuses may not need to wear all eight Tier 0 items at once.

WoW Forever Tier 0 Set Bonuses Have Changed

Do not use the old Classic 2/4/6/8 set-bonus structure when evaluating Forever Dungeon Set 1.

Current Forever data uses five bonus thresholds:

• 2 pieces;
• 3 pieces;
• 4 pieces;
• 5 pieces;
• 6 pieces.

The exact effects differ by class. Current examples include additional combat stats, resistance, resource regeneration and class-specific proc effects.

Blizzard has also reworked dungeon itemization throughout Forever. Dungeon drops have been reviewed, hundreds of additional items have been introduced and set bonuses have been adjusted to make high-level dungeon gearing more relevant.

Tier 0 vs Pre-Raid BiS

A full Dungeon Set 1 is not automatically the best possible pre-raid setup for every class.

Tier 0 means one defined class armor set. Pre-Raid BiS mixes the strongest available items across many different sources and can replace Tier 0 pieces with stronger dungeon, quest, reputation or crafted items.

Tier 0 Is the Base for Dungeon Set 2

One of the main reasons to collect the complete Dungeon Set 1 is the later Tier 0.5 / Dungeon Set 2 progression.

The Dungeon Set 2 questline upgrades corresponding Tier 0 armor pieces into their stronger Tier 0.5 versions. That means the base Tier 0 item is required before its matching upgrade can be completed.

If Dungeon Set 2 is your final goal, use the WoW Forever Tier 0.5 Dungeon Set 2 Boost and select the option that includes missing Tier 0 farming.

Random Drops and Tier 0 Farming

Tier 0 boss drops use the normal in-game loot system. A dungeon clear does not guarantee that one selected set item will drop.

When a specific Tier 0 piece is the purchased target, repeated eligible dungeon runs may be required until that item is obtained according to the selected service conditions.

Completion time can therefore vary considerably between a 6/8 bonus target and a full 8/8 collection, especially when only one or two specific Bind-on-Pickup pieces remain.

How the Tier 0 Dungeon Set Boost Works

1. Select your class.
2. Choose a specific piece, set-bonus target or full 8/8 collection.
3. Provide your current Dungeon Set 1 progress.
4. The relevant high-level dungeons are farmed for the missing pieces.
5. All selected Tier 0 items and other eligible loot obtained during the included runs remain on your character.

Choose Tier 0 when your goal is the specific Dungeon Set 1 armor collection for your class rather than general pre-raid equipment.
