The Vials of Eternity Quest

The Mount Hyjal attunement is centered around the quest The Vials of Eternity.

The quest is accepted from Soridormi inside the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. The official requirement is at least Revered reputation with the Keepers of Time.

Once the quest is active, you need two quest items:

• Vashj's Vial Remnant: obtained after defeating Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern.
• Kael's Vial Remnant: obtained after defeating Kael'thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

Return both remnants to Soridormi to complete The Vials of Eternity and finish your Mount Hyjal attunement.

Step 1 – Reach Revered With Keepers of Time

Before accepting The Vials of Eternity, your character must reach at least Revered with the Keepers of Time.

The main reputation sources are the Caverns of Time dungeons:

• Old Hillsbrad Foothills;
• The Black Morass.

If your character is already Revered, these dungeons do not need to be repeated specifically for the Hyjal attunement. If reputation is still missing, the required amount can be completed before beginning the raid objectives.

Step 2 – Defeat Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern

With The Vials of Eternity active, enter Serpentshrine Cavern and defeat its final boss, Lady Vashj.

The objective provides Vashj's Vial Remnant, one of the two items required to complete the attunement.

Because Vashj is the sixth and final encounter in SSC, the raid must progress through the required bosses before the vial can be obtained.

If this is the only missing objective, you do not need to repeat the Kael'thas step after already obtaining his vial.

Step 3 – Defeat Kael'thas in Tempest Keep

The second objective takes place in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

Defeat Kael'thas Sunstrider, the final boss of the raid, while The Vials of Eternity is active and obtain Kael's Vial Remnant.

Kael'thas is the fourth encounter in Tempest Keep. This means the run must reach and defeat the final boss before the required quest item can be collected.

Players who already have Vashj's Vial Remnant can order only the remaining Kael'thas progression where supported by the selected service option.

Step 4 – Return Both Vials to Soridormi

After collecting both vial remnants, return to Soridormi in the Caverns of Time and complete The Vials of Eternity.

This finishes the Mount Hyjal attunement and allows the character to enter The Battle for Mount Hyjal.

Completing the quest also provides initial Scale of the Sands reputation, the faction connected to Mount Hyjal and its progressive ring rewards.

0/2, 1/2 or 2/2 Vials – Continue From Your Current Progress

You do not need to purchase a complete attunement if part of the quest is already finished.

• 0/2 Vials: both Lady Vashj and Kael'thas are still required.
• 1/2 Vials: only the missing Tier 5 end-boss objective is required.
• 2/2 Vials: only the final Soridormi turn-in and access verification may remain.

Why Complete Mount Hyjal Attunement in Phase 3?

Mount Hyjal is current Tier 6 content and contains five bosses:

The exact completion schedule depends on current quest progress and available raid lockouts. Correctly checking the quest before each end-boss kill prevents losing a weekly opportunity because the required objective was not active.
