WoW TBC Attunement Boost for Raid and Heroic Access

A WoW TBC Classic attunement boost completes the access requirements that stand between your character and a Heroic dungeon or raid. Depending on the target, this may involve reputation farming, key quests, Normal or Heroic dungeons, open-world objectives and scheduled raid boss kills.

ExpCarry offers separate services for the major Burning Crusade Anniversary access chains. You can order a complete attunement from the beginning or start from your current quest stage. Already completed steps do not need to be repeated.

The category currently covers Heroic dungeon keys, Karazhan, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, Mount Hyjal, Black Temple, the Key to the Arcatraz and the Shattered Halls Key.

How Attunements Work on TBC Anniversary Realms

The Anniversary ruleset reduces repetition for players with multiple characters. Once the first character on a Battle.net account completes a raid attunement, that raid is unlocked for the other characters on the same account.

Heroic dungeon keys use a different system. The first character must reach Revered with the relevant Outland faction. It can then purchase a Bind-on-Battle.net-Account key and send it to an alt. The receiving character needs at least Friendly reputation with that faction to use the key.

Reputation itself does not become account-wide. An alt may receive Heroic access through the transferred key, but it still needs its own reputation for faction equipment, recipes, enchants and other rewards.

Choose the Attunement Your Character Still Needs

Before ordering, check the character’s quest log, reputation standings, dungeon keys and completed raid bosses. The correct service depends on the exact point where progression stopped.

  • No Heroic access: unlock one required dungeon hub or complete all five Heroic keys.
  • Preparing for Karazhan: finish the Master's Key chain and its required dungeon fragments.
  • Preparing for Tier 5: complete the Serpentshrine Cavern or Tempest Keep access chain.
  • Preparing for Tier 6: finish The Vials of Eternity or the Black Temple storyline.
  • Stuck on one dungeon: order only the Key to the Arcatraz or Shattered Halls Key.
  • Playing an alt: confirm which raid unlocks and account-bound keys are already available before purchasing another full route.

Some chains are limited by weekly raid lockouts. If a required boss has already been killed without the correct quest, disguise or quest item active, the character may need to wait for another reset. Current quest progress should therefore be checked before the first scheduled run.

Heroic Dungeon Attunements and Account-Bound Keys

Heroic dungeons provide Badges of Justice, endgame equipment, reputation and crafting materials. Before entering them, the character needs the matching key for the relevant dungeon hub.

The TBC Heroic Dungeons Attunements service can unlock one selected key or the complete Heroic key set:

  • Flamewrought Key: Honor Hold or Thrallmar for Hellfire Citadel.
  • Reservoir Key: Cenarion Expedition for Coilfang Reservoir.
  • Auchenai Key: Lower City for Auchindoun.
  • Warpforged Key: The Sha'tar for Tempest Keep dungeons.
  • Key of Time: Keepers of Time for the Caverns of Time.

The route is calculated from the character’s current reputation. A character already close to Revered may need only a limited number of quests or dungeon runs, while a new level 70 may require a longer reputation route.

Heroic access does not automatically open every locked Normal dungeon. The Arcatraz and Shattered Halls have separate entrance keys. These can be ordered through the Key to the Arcatraz and Shattered Halls Key services.

Karazhan Attunement and the Master's Key

Karazhan access is tied to the Master's Key quest chain. It begins in Deadwind Pass and leads through several level-70 dungeons to recover the required key fragments.

The TBC Karazhan Attunement Boost may include:

  • the opening quests around Karazhan and Shattrath City;
  • the first key fragment from Shadow Labyrinth;
  • the next fragments from The Steamvault and The Arcatraz;
  • the Caverns of Time progression required for The Black Morass;
  • completion of The Black Morass and the final Master's Key turn-in.

The Arcatraz and Black Morass have their own prerequisites. If those instances are not yet accessible, their unlock steps must be completed before the corresponding Karazhan objectives.

Since raid attunements are account-wide on Anniversary realms, completing Karazhan access once also removes the raid-entry requirement for future alts on the same Battle.net account. The physical key may still be useful for opening the entrance when no other raid member has one.

Serpentshrine Cavern Attunement

The classic Serpentshrine Cavern access route begins with The Cudgel of Kar'desh in Heroic Slave Pens. The chain connects Heroic dungeon access with two raid encounters: Gruul the Dragonkiller in Gruul's Lair and Nightbane in Karazhan.

The Serpentshrine Cavern Attunement Boost can cover the remaining Heroic access, quest pickup and required raid boss kills.

Nightbane is not a normal automatically available encounter. The raid needs the required summoning access. Before scheduling the run, we check whether the character has the quest and whether the assigned group can summon the boss.

Even if a raid-entry requirement is removed in a later content phase, the chain may remain relevant for quest completion, title progression or preparation for connected endgame objectives.

Tempest Keep Attunement and the Trials of the Naaru

Tempest Keep: The Eye uses one of the most demanding early TBC attunement routes. The Trials of the Naaru require several Heroic dungeon objectives and traditionally end with Magtheridon.

The Tempest Keep Attunement Boost can include:

  • the required prerequisite quests in Shadowmoon Valley;
  • Trial of the Naaru objectives in Heroic Shattered Halls;
  • Heroic Steamvault and Heroic Shadow Labyrinth objectives;
  • the required Heroic Arcatraz objective;
  • the Magtheridon raid checkpoint;
  • the final Tempest Key progression.

Because this route crosses several Heroic dungeon hubs, missing keys are checked before the schedule is confirmed. A full Tempest Keep route may therefore require Heroic access work in addition to the raid attunement itself.

Mount Hyjal Attunement and The Vials of Eternity

The Battle for Mount Hyjal is connected to Tier 5 through The Vials of Eternity. The quest requires the relevant remains from Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern and Kael'thas Sunstrider in Tempest Keep: The Eye.

The Mount Hyjal Attunement Boost is suitable for characters that need one or both Tier 5 end-boss kills, the quest turn-in or a complete route from their present progress.

The character must pick up the correct quest before the boss kills. A previous kill without the quest item does not retroactively complete the objective. Existing SSC and Tempest Keep raid lockouts must also be checked before scheduling.

Completing the Hyjal access chain is also an important part of the route toward Black Temple and the Hand of A'dal progression.

Black Temple Attunement and the Medallion of Karabor

Black Temple has the longest access storyline in TBC. It begins with the Akama-related quests in Shadowmoon Valley and later moves into Heroic dungeons and current raid content.

The Black Temple Attunement Boost can cover the chain from the character’s current stage through the Medallion of Karabor.

Important checkpoints include:

  • the Tablets of Baa'ri and Akama questlines in Shadowmoon Valley;
  • the required Arcatraz objective;
  • Fathom-Lord Karathress in Serpentshrine Cavern;
  • Al'ar in Tempest Keep while following the quest conditions;
  • Rage Winterchill in The Battle for Mount Hyjal;
  • the final quests at the Black Temple entrance.

Several stages depend on weekly raid availability. The order should specify which quests are already complete, whether the character has Hyjal access and which relevant raid lockouts remain available.

Full Attunement or One Missing Step?

A complete attunement package is best for a first main character with little access progress. It provides the greatest account-wide value because later alts benefit from completed raid unlocks and transferable Heroic keys.

A partial service is usually better for a character that already has the required reputation, dungeon keys or early quest steps. In that case, the order may consist of one Heroic dungeon, one raid boss or one final quest turn-in.

Before ordering, provide:

  • EU or US region;
  • realm and faction;
  • character level and class;
  • current reputation standings;
  • Heroic and Normal dungeon keys already owned;
  • current quest name or quest-log screenshot;
  • relevant raid lockouts for the current reset.

This information allows the route to exclude completed work and prevents a service from being scheduled around an unavailable dungeon or raid checkpoint.
