Buy Ballistic Cannons in Star Citizen and equip your ship with the exact weapon model and size required for your loadout. Choose the cannon you need, confirm your ship compatibility and receive the selected weapon through a coordinated in-game delivery.
Ballistic cannons are physical projectile ship weapons designed around controlled fire, solid per-shot damage and limited ammunition. Unlike energy weapons, they rely on carried ammunition rather than an unlimited energy supply, making weapon choice, magazine capacity and target selection important parts of the loadout.
Star Citizen Ballistic Cannons
Ballistic Cannons are one branch of Star Citizen's ship weapon system. They fire physical projectiles and generally sit between rapid-fire ballistic weapons and heavier specialized weapons in terms of rate of fire and damage per shot.
Current Star Citizen 4.10.1 data includes ballistic cannons across several weapon sizes and manufacturers. Available families include Esperia's Deadbolt series, KnightBridge Arms Sword-series cannons, Gallenson Tactical's Tarantula line and selected Behring ballistic weapons.

Choose the Right Ballistic Cannon Size
Weapon size is one of the most important compatibility checks before ordering. A cannon must fit the weapon hardpoint available on your ship or turret. A larger weapon cannot simply be installed on a smaller hardpoint, and some weapons have additional ship-specific restrictions.
If you already know the exact cannon you want, select that model directly. If you are unsure, provide your ship model with the order so compatibility can be checked before delivery.
Available Ballistic Cannon Families
Deadbolt Cannons are Esperia's modern recreations of Tevarin ballistic weapon technology. The current series spans multiple sizes, from the S1 Deadbolt I through the S6 Deadbolt VI, making it one of the broadest ballistic cannon families available.
Sword-series Cannons from KnightBridge Arms include the S1 9-Series Longsword, S2 10-Series Greatsword and S3 11-Series Broadsword. They provide another option for small and medium ship weapon hardpoints.
Tarantula GT-870 Cannons from Gallenson Tactical Systems are available in S1, S2 and S3 variants. The line uses a moderate rate of fire and is designed around consistent ballistic fire rather than Gatling-style volume.
Behring Cannons include specialized models such as the S4 C-788 "Combine". Behring also manufactures the S2 CVSA, but that weapon is a special case: it is designed specifically for the nose weapon mount of the Aegis Vanguard series and should not be ordered as a generic S2 cannon.
Ballistic Cannon vs Ballistic Gatling
Do not choose a ballistic cannon simply because you want a ballistic weapon. Cannons and Gatlings fill different roles.
Ballistic cannons generally favor stronger individual hits and a more deliberate firing rhythm. Ballistic Gatlings use a much higher rate of fire and deliver damage through sustained projectile volume. The correct choice depends on your ship, available hardpoints, target profile and preferred combat style.
This product covers Ballistic Cannons only. Ballistic Gatlings, Repeaters, Scatterguns and Mass Drivers should be ordered from their respective weapon categories.
Ballistic Weapons and Ammunition
Ballistic ship weapons use physical ammunition. Once the available ammunition is depleted, the weapon must be supplied again before it can continue firing.
Ballistic projectiles also interact differently with shields compared with energy fire. A portion of ballistic damage can penetrate shield protection depending on the current shield mechanics, while the remaining damage is absorbed. Exact weapon performance, penetration and ammunition values vary by model and can change with balance updates.
How Ballistic Cannon Delivery Works
Select the ballistic cannon model and quantity required for your build. We recommend also providing your ship model so the selected weapon can be checked against its intended hardpoint before delivery.
After the order is confirmed, our team coordinates a server and meeting location and transfers the selected ship weapon through an available in-game handoff method.
You stay on your own Star Citizen account during a standard delivery. Your RSI password is not required.
Build Your Ship Loadout Without Searching Every Weapon Shop
Star Citizen weapon availability is distributed across different dealerships, station shops, crafting options and specialized locations. A complete loadout may require several weapons of the same model, especially on ships with symmetrical pilot hardpoints.
Ordering the exact cannons you need allows you to focus on fitting and testing your build instead of travelling between weapon shops or sourcing each component separately.
