Buy Ship Repeaters in Star Citizen and equip your spacecraft with fast-firing energy weapons for sustained combat. Choose the exact Laser, Neutron or Distortion Repeater model and size required for your hardpoints and receive the weapons through a coordinated in-game delivery.
Repeaters favor a higher rate of fire than cannon-style weapons, making them useful for maintaining pressure and landing repeated hits on moving targets. Star Citizen currently offers several repeater families with different damage types, projectile behavior and combat roles.
Star Citizen Ship Repeaters
Ship Repeaters are rapid-firing weapons designed around sustained fire rather than the slower, heavier individual shots associated with cannons. Current Star Citizen 4.10.1 weapon data includes Laser, Neutron and Distortion Repeaters across multiple hardpoint sizes.
The major general-purpose families include the Klaus & Werner CF-Series, Hurston Dynamics Attrition series, MaxOx NDB Neutron Repeaters and ASD DR Model-XJ Distortion Repeaters.
| Weapon Category | Ship Repeater |
| Main Types | Laser, Neutron and Distortion Repeaters |
| Laser Repeater Sizes | S1–S6 |
| Neutron Repeater Sizes | S1–S3 |
| Distortion Repeater Sizes | S1–S3 |
| Standard Energy Ammo | Ship weapon capacitor |
| Main Manufacturers | Klaus & Werner, Hurston Dynamics, MaxOx and ASD |
| Compatibility | Requires a matching weapon hardpoint |
Choose the Right Repeater Size
The selected Repeater must match the weapon hardpoint available on your ship or turret. A larger weapon cannot simply replace a smaller one because every mount supports a defined maximum weapon size.
Laser Repeaters currently provide the widest selection, with major families extending from S1 through S6. Neutron and Distortion Repeater families are concentrated in S1 through S3.
If you are unsure which Repeater fits your ship, provide your ship model with the order so hardpoint compatibility can be checked before delivery.
Laser Repeaters
Laser Repeaters deal conventional energy damage and draw their shots from the ship's weapon capacitor. They do not require a finite ballistic ammunition supply and can recharge when sufficient weapon energy is available.
The two most important current families are the CF-Series from Klaus & Werner and the Attrition series from Hurston Dynamics.
CF-Series Laser Repeaters
Klaus & Werner's CF-Series provides a complete progression from small fighter weapons to large repeaters:
| Weapon | Size | Type |
|---|---|---|
| CF-117 Bulldog Repeater | S1 | Laser Repeater |
| CF-227 Badger Repeater | S2 | Laser Repeater |
| CF-337 Panther Repeater | S3 | Laser Repeater |
| CF-447 Rhino Repeater | S4 | Laser Repeater |
| CF-557 Galdereen Repeater | S5 | Laser Repeater |
| CF-667 Mammoth Repeater | S6 | Laser Repeater |
The CF-Series is designed around reliable rapid energy fire. The current Bulldog, Badger and Panther provide the smaller S1-S3 progression, while Rhino, Galdereen and Mammoth extend the same basic weapon category to larger hardpoints.
Attrition Laser Repeaters
Hurston Dynamics' Attrition family also extends from Attrition-1 S1 through Attrition-6 S6. The series uses Hurston's cascade technology and is designed to maintain strong performance during sustained laser fire.
This makes Attrition an alternative to the CF-Series across nearly every normal repeater hardpoint size. Current Attrition models are Grade A and several sizes can both be purchased and crafted after the corresponding blueprint has been unlocked.
CF-Series or Attrition?
Both families are Laser Repeaters and use the ship's weapon energy system, but they are separate weapon lines with different performance profiles.
CF Repeaters are conventional high-rate energy weapons with predictable behavior across their size progression. Attrition Repeaters use Hurston Dynamics' heat-based cascade technology and are built around sustained-fire performance.
The correct choice depends on your hardpoint size, ship capacitor, preferred engagement range and the rest of the weapon loadout.
Neutron Repeaters
MaxOx produces the current NDB family of Neutron Repeaters. These weapons still use energy rather than ballistic ammunition but fire neutron projectiles and have their own range, damage and projectile characteristics.
| Weapon | Size | Manufacturer |
|---|---|---|
| NDB-26 Repeater | S1 | MaxOx |
| NDB-28 Repeater | S2 | MaxOx |
| NDB-30 Repeater | S3 | MaxOx |
The NDB-26 uses a twin-barrel system and is designed to remain effective from close into medium range. The S2 NDB-28 and S3 NDB-30 extend the same Neutron Repeater concept to larger hardpoints.
NDB Repeaters should be selected as their own weapon family rather than treated as cosmetic alternatives to standard Laser Repeaters.
Distortion Repeaters
Associated Sciences & Development produces the DR Model-XJ family of Distortion Repeaters:
| Weapon | Size | Primary Damage |
|---|---|---|
| DR Model-XJ1 Repeater | S1 | Distortion |
| DR Model-XJ2 Repeater | S2 | Distortion |
| DR Model-XJ3 Repeater | S3 | Distortion |
Unlike normal Laser or Neutron Repeaters, the XJ family is designed to disrupt powered ship systems. Distortion damage can help force affected components offline rather than simply maximizing conventional hull damage.
This makes Distortion Repeaters useful for disable-oriented combat and mixed loadouts where other weapons provide conventional destructive damage.
Laser vs Neutron vs Distortion Repeaters
Laser Repeaters are the general-purpose choice for rapid direct energy damage and have the widest range of available sizes.
Neutron Repeaters provide a more specialized energy weapon profile through MaxOx's NDB family and currently cover S1-S3.
Distortion Repeaters are intended primarily to disrupt ship systems and support disable-focused combat rather than replace ordinary damage weapons.
Select the weapon type according to what you want the ship to accomplish, not simply according to its size.
Ship Repeater vs Ship Cannon
Repeaters generally prioritize rate of fire and repeated hits, while Cannons favor slower firing cycles and stronger individual shots.
Repeaters can be easier to use against agile targets because missed shots represent a smaller portion of the total firing cycle. Cannons can reward accurate pilots with heavier individual impacts.
This product covers Ship Repeaters. Laser Cannons, Ballistic Cannons, Mass Driver Cannons and other cannon classes remain separate products.
Repeaters and the Weapon Capacitor
Laser, Neutron and Distortion Repeaters use the ship's energy system rather than a conventional ballistic magazine. Available shots, recharge behavior and sustained fire therefore depend on the weapon and ship configuration.
Power allocation to weapons affects how long an energy loadout can sustain fire and how quickly the available weapon energy returns after a firing cycle.
Special and Ship-Specific Repeaters
Star Citizen also contains specialized Repeaters outside the main general-purpose families.
The Yeng'tu S3 Laser Repeater was designed specifically around the Aopoa San'tok.yāi. The Reign-3 S3 was developed for the Tumbril Storm turret, while the BRVS S2 Ballistic Repeater is exclusive to the nose weapon system of the Aegis Vanguard series.
These weapons should not be treated as ordinary universal upgrades without confirming both acquisition and compatibility.
How Ship Repeater Delivery Works
Select the exact Repeater model and quantity required for your ship. If you are unsure about compatibility, provide your ship model so the weapon hardpoint can be checked before delivery.
Our team coordinates an available server and meeting location and transfers the selected weapons through an appropriate in-game handoff method.
You remain on your own Star Citizen account throughout standard delivery. Your RSI password is not required.
