Current general-purpose Laser Cannon families cover sizes from S1 to S6. This gives players options ranging from small fighter weapons to large cannons designed for heavier spacecraft.

Behring M-Series Laser Cannons

Kroneg FL-Series Cannons

Kroneg's FL-series covers smaller hardpoints with the FL-11 S1, FL-22 S2 and FL-33 S3. The manufacturer positions these weapons around strong ranged hits and comparatively deliberate firing rates.

The FL-series is especially useful when you want a focused cannon option for small or medium weapon slots without moving into the larger S4–S6 weapon range.

Other Laser Cannons

Star Citizen also includes individual Laser Cannons outside the major full-size families. The Quarreler is an S3 cannon from Kruger Intergalactic, while the MVSA is a specialized S2 Behring cannon designed for the nose weapon system of the Aegis Vanguard series.

Laser Cannons and Weapon Capacitor

Laser Cannons do not require a finite ballistic ammunition magazine. Instead, their available shots and sustained firing behavior are connected to the ship's weapon power and capacitor system.

This means energy allocation becomes part of the loadout. A ship configured to dedicate more resources to weapons can behave differently from one prioritizing shields or other systems, and different cannon models have different capacitor requirements.
