Conquest Gear Set (289 ilvl PvP)

The Galactic Gladiator Conquest set is the endgame PvP equipment. Base ilvl 246, scaling to 289 in Arenas and Battlegrounds - the highest PvP item level in Midnight Season 1, matching Mythic track PvE gear in rated combat. A full set costs approximately 10,850 Conquest Points earned through rated PvP wins. The weekly Conquest cap starts at 1600 and increases by 600 each week. A free Conquest weapon is awarded at 2500 total Conquest earned. Vendor: Irissa Bloodstar in Silvermoon City. Full Conquest gear is recommended at 1800+ rating and required at 2100+.

BiS PvP Combat Kit

The complete best-in-slot PvP setup for your specialization. Includes full Conquest gear, 4-piece Tier Set bonuses, optimized secondary stats, gem sockets, and crafted embellished items. This is the competitive standard for high-rated Arena, Solo Shuffle, and Battleground Blitz above 2100. The kit is assembled through a combination of rated PvP wins (for Conquest pieces), Catalyst charges (for Tier Set conversion), and profession crafting (for embellished slots). Building a full BiS kit takes multiple weeks due to Conquest caps and Catalyst charge timing.

Mythic+ Dungeon Gear

Mythic+ is the most efficient repeatable source of PvE gear in Midnight. The Season 1 dungeon pool includes 4 Midnight dungeons and 4 returning dungeons from older expansions. An extra Catalyst charge is earned by completing Champion of the Dawn (1600+ PvP rating, 2000+ M+ rating, or Heroic/Mythic March on Quel'Danas clear). Midnight Season 1 Gear Track System

Upgrading gear from 1/6 to 6/6 costs 100 Dawncrests of the matching type (20 per rank). The weekly crest cap is 100 per type. This means one piece can be fully upgraded per week per track. PvP gear uses a separate scaling system where PvP ilvl activates inside rated content regardless of upgrade rank.

PvE vs PvP Gearing - Which Path to Choose

The right gearing path depends on your primary content focus. PvP Conquest gear (289 ilvl in PvP) is the strongest option for rated Arenas, Solo Shuffle, and Battlegrounds. PvE Myth track gear (289 ilvl) is the strongest for Mythic raids and high M+ keys. Both reach the same number, but PvP gear scales higher only inside PvP combat while PvE gear does not benefit from PvP scaling.

If you play both PvE and PvP, the most efficient approach is to farm Conquest gear for PvP content (since it scales to 289 automatically in rated brackets) while using Mythic+ and raid drops for PvE slots. Tier Set bonuses work in both PvE and PvP (with 50% effectiveness reduction in PvP), so farming your 4-piece early benefits both paths.
