VALORANT Patch 13.00 starts V26 Act 4 with one of the broader updates of the season. Riot adds Summit to the Competitive map pool, launches the limited-time Retake mode, buffs several Sentinels, lowers key Initiator cooldowns, adjusts Ranked Rating calculations, tightens matchmaking on PC and adds smaller updates for Bandit, Omen audio, Premier, Inbox and Agent voice lines. VALORANT Patch 13.00 Adds Summit And Retake

Summit is the new 5v5 Spike mode map in VALORANT Patch 13.00. Riot sets the map in a Radiant training academy in the mountains of China, with training halls, meditation gardens and droppable walls that can reshape sightlines during a round. The layout uses three lanes and two sites, so the base structure is easy to understand, but the droppable walls add a map-specific layer around space control, retakes and timing. Summit enters Competitive from launch, and Riot is reducing RR losses on the map by 50% for the first two weeks. Wins on Summit still give full RR, which means players can learn the map in ranked without taking the full penalty for early mistakes. Summit and Sunset enter the Competitive and Deathmatch queues, while Fracture and Pearl leave those queues. A Summit Only queue also runs for seven days using the Swiftplay format, giving players a lower-pressure way to learn callouts, angles and site layouts before treating the map like a regular ranked pick.

Retake is the new limited-time mode in Patch 13.00. It is a fast 3v3 Spike mode where each round starts around a planted Spike situation. VALORANT Ranked, Bandit And Client Changes In Patch 13.00

The ranked changes in Patch 13.00 focus on RR progression and team rank consistency. Riot is adjusting Ranked Rating calculations so players feel less stuck when they are consistently winning matches, with special attention called out for Immortal+ players.
