Current Global progression records place the home-region Monolith at 30 levels, with the final recorded requirement reaching 560 Trace points. Intermediate Global records also show progression requirements increasing throughout the track.

Do not confuse Trace points with map markers. Current community maps and Global progression reports do not all describe the collection counter in the same way. This also explains why searching for “560 Feathers” can produce contradictory answers. The important target is Monolith level 30, not blindly visiting a number copied from an older regional map.
How to Farm AION 2 Feathers Fast
Do not treat Feathers like a mob grind. The fastest method is efficient exploration.
- Collect nearby Traces while leveling. A 20-second detour now can save several minutes of backtracking later.

The Monolith interface supports Sync Empyrean Traces. Once you have collected the relevant Traces on your main character, later characters can synchronize that collection instead of manually repeating the same world route.
Best strategy: be thorough on one main character. When an alt reaches the Monolith progression step, check the Sync Empyrean Traces option before collecting the same map again.

Your amulet is one of the pieces worth progressing rather than treating as disposable leveling gear. Feathers therefore contribute indirectly to character power by supplying its dedicated enhancement materials.

What Are Abyss Feathers?

This is not simply “more of the same Feathers.” The Ereshkigal progression is a separate track with PvP-oriented rewards and Azphel progression.

Client records contain additional uses or conversions tied to completed Monolith progression, and live implementation can differ from older regional guides. If your home Monolith is already maxed:
- Check whether the Monolith offers a conversion or additional interaction.
- Confirm that your collection is synchronized before changing characters.
- Keep remaining bound Traces until you know the current Global conversion available to your character.

Feathers vs Wing Featherdown
These are completely different systems.
