The Writhing Brood Drop Chance

Blizzard has not published an official drop rate for The Writhing Brood. Community databases may display observed percentages based on player reports, but those values can change as more kills are recorded. Because the mount is RNG-based, a fixed number of Zul'jan kills cannot guarantee the drop.

The farm-until-drop format removes that uncertainty from the order itself: eligible Altar of Fangs attempts continue until the mount is obtained instead of ending after a predetermined number of runs.

Altar of Fangs and Zul'jan

Altar of Fangs is a three-boss dungeon introduced with Patch 12.1. The encounters are Rav'i, The Writhing Coil, and Zul'jan. Zul'jan is the final encounter and the source of The Writhing Brood, so this dungeon is the only target required for the mount farm.

The mount is available through eligible Mythic and Mythic+ clears. Loot, additional dungeon rewards, Mythic+ rating, and weekly Great Vault progress follow the normal live World of Warcraft rules for the difficulty completed.

How Does The Writhing Brood Boost Work?

1. Place the order and select your region and preferred completion speed.
2. Our team confirms the order details and schedules eligible Altar of Fangs runs.
3. Zul'jan is cleared repeatedly on an eligible Mythic or Mythic+ difficulty.
4. If the mount does not drop, the farm continues according to the purchased farm-until-drop service.
5. The order is completed when The Writhing Brood is obtained and added to your mount collection.

Loot and Reward Conditions

The Writhing Brood itself is a random in-game drop. ExpCarry guarantees the purchased farm-until-drop service outcome, but specific weapons, armor pieces, trinkets, bonus rewards, or tradeable items are not guaranteed unless they are explicitly included in the order configuration.

Any eligible loot earned by your character during the farm remains yours. Mythic+ runs can also provide seasonal rating, Great Vault progress, crests, and dungeon gear according to the key level and current in-game reward rules.
