Who Should Choose a Normal Raid Boost?

Normal is the entry difficulty for organized Venomous Abyss raiding. It provides the complete raid route and every standard gearing source without the Heroic achievement requirement or the restrictive progression structure of Mythic.

  • Newly geared characters: begin collecting current raid equipment and class-set pieces.
  • Returning players: complete the current raid without repeated Group Finder applications.
  • Alts: finish all eight encounters and weekly Raid Vault progress in one run.
  • First-time raiders: join an organized team with encounter instructions from the raid leader.
  • Weekly gearing: repeat the clear after reset for new eligible loot opportunities.

No previous Venomous Abyss experience or fixed item level is required for the standard Normal service unless a specific product option states otherwise. Self-Play customers must be available at the confirmed time and follow the assigned raid instructions.

What the Full 8/8 Normal Clear Covers

The run begins with Nek’zali the Soulcoiler and continues through every Normal encounter to Ula’tek. A complete clear gives your character access to all four Normal loot bands, all five standard tier-token bosses, the final-boss reward pool, and the maximum boss-count progress available from one Venomous Abyss clear.

  • All eight Normal boss kills in one organized raid
  • Completion of Ula’tek and the full 8/8 raid achievement progress
  • Normal loot opportunities under the selected distribution rules
  • Chances at all five standard class-set token slots
  • Eligible progress toward all three weekly Raid Vault choices

The completed encounters are the defined service result. Equipment remains drop-dependent: no standard raid clear guarantees a particular weapon, trinket, armor piece, tier token, or Curio unless the configured order explicitly includes that item.

Normal Loot, Tier Tokens, and Great Vault Progress

Normal loot increases as the raid advances. The current Midnight Season 2 reward table starts at item level 292, rises to 295–298 through the middle encounters, and reaches item level 302 on The Coiled Altar and Ula’tek.

Included EncountersNormal Item LevelTier-Set Opportunity
Nek’zali the Soulcoiler292
Entombed Sentinels and The Lost Explorers295Hands and Shoulders
Vashnik the Malignant, Sszorak, and The Twin Fangs298Chest, Legs, and Head
The Coiled Altar and Ula’tek302Ula’tek can drop the Slumbering Coil Curio

Eligible raid kills unlock Great Vault Raid choices after 2, 4, and 6 bosses. A complete 8/8 Normal clear therefore reaches all three boss-count thresholds during one weekly reset. The actual Vault rewards depend on Blizzard’s current rules, qualifying kills, unlocked raid loot pool, and the character’s existing weekly progress.

This table explains the reward bands required for the product decision. Individual weapons, trinkets, armor pieces, and boss drop sources remain in the separate Venomous Abyss loot table.

Normal, Heroic, or Ula’tek-Only?

Choose this Normal product when your objective is an accessible full 8/8 clear, entry raid gearing, tier-token opportunities, or complete weekly Normal raid progress. Normal does not award Ahead of the Curve.

For a complete 8/8 clear with item level 305–315 loot and Ahead of the Curve eligibility, choose the Venomous Abyss Heroic Boost. If your character already has 7/8 progress and only needs the final encounter, use the separate Ula’tek Kill Boost.

Choose Your Normal Loot Package

The selected package determines which supporting raiders are loot-eligible and how suitable, tradeable items are distributed after they drop. It improves access to available loot but does not change the raid’s random drop table.

Loot OptionHow It WorksBest For
Group LootThe raid may contain unsaved and loot-locked supporting players. Eligible customers use the standard in-game roll system while supporting raiders pass suitable items under the agreed conditions. The most affordable 8/8 clear and Vault progress
Unsaved Group LootSupporting raiders remain loot-eligible for the included encounters, increasing the potential shared loot pool. Eligible customers may still compete with one another.More shared loot potential without personal priority
Armor Type PriorityYou are the only customer assigned to the selected cloth, leather, mail, or plate armor type. Suitable eligible and tradeable armor is directed to your character.Targeted armor upgrades
Armor & Token PriorityIncludes Armor Type Priority and makes you the only customer assigned to the relevant tier-token group. Weapons, jewelry, cloaks, and trinkets are not reserved.Armor upgrades and class-set progression
Full PrioritySuitable eligible and tradeable drops for the selected loot specialization are directed to your character, including armor, tokens, weapons, jewelry, cloaks, and trinkets. The strongest available direct-loot focus

Where supported by the selected priority package, the configurator allows a raid composition of approximately 10–26 supporting raiders. A larger loot-eligible composition can increase the potential number of available drops, but it cannot guarantee a specific item.

All loot results depend on actual boss drops, raid size, weekly loot eligibility, item tradability, the selected loot specialization, customer competition in shared-loot groups, and Blizzard’s current loot rules.

Normal Raid Schedule for EU and US

ExpCarry coordinates more than 30 active raid teams across EU and US. The roster includes raiders with current or recent world top-100 guild experience, together with teams focused on repeatable Normal full clears and configured priority-loot runs.

Normal groups typically start every 30–60 minutes. The closest available slot depends on the selected region, day and time, loot package, raid composition, and current team capacity. You can provide a preferred time during the order, and support confirms the compatible raid slot before the run.

Self-Play and Piloted Completion

Self-Play: you play your own character and join the organized raid at the confirmed time. The team manages the roster, strategy, and encounter calls; you follow the raid leader’s instructions and complete the assigned role.

Piloted: where this method is displayed in the configurator, an assigned player completes the approved objective on your character. Availability and access conditions are confirmed before scheduling.
