AION 2 timers track the next Spacetime Rift, Shugo Festival, Dimensional Invasion, scheduled World Bosses and Global daily and weekly resets. The live timer should automatically convert every event to your local time zone. If an event is active, it shows how long remains; otherwise it shows the next verified start.
Quick answer: Global resets at 07:00 UTC every day, with the weekly reset on Wednesday. Spacetime Rifts currently open every three hours from 00:00 UTC, Shugo Festival starts every hour at :00, and the current Global client schedules Dimensional Invasion at :30. Scheduled Abyss bosses follow fixed daily or weekly spawn cycles.
AION 2 Global Timer Schedule
| Event | Global Schedule | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Spacetime Rift | 00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 21:00 UTC | Portal available for about 10 minutes |
| Shugo Festival | Every hour at :00 | Short event window |
| Dimensional Invasion | Every hour at :30 in current Global client schedule | About 15 minutes |
| Watcher Kaira | Every 3 hours: 01:00, 04:00, 07:00, 10:00, 13:00, 16:00, 19:00, 22:00 | 30-minute boss window |
| Artifact Siege | Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 12:00 UTC | 30 minutes |
| Siege Bosses | Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 12:30 UTC | 30 minutes |
| Guardian Lord Nahma | Friday and Sunday at 12:00 UTC | 30 minutes |
| Daily Reset | Every day at 07:00 UTC | Instant reset |
| Weekly Reset | Wednesday at 07:00 UTC | Instant reset |
Times on the live dashboard should be displayed in your own time zone. UTC is shown in this guide because daylight-saving changes can move the local clock while the underlying Global reset remains unchanged.
AION 2 Spacetime Rift Timer
Global Spacetime Rift portals currently open every three hours from 00:00 UTC:
00:00 → 03:00 → 06:00 → 09:00 → 12:00 → 15:00 → 18:00 → 21:00 UTC.
The portal itself is available for approximately 10 minutes. Once you enter, the activity can continue beyond the initial portal-entry window.
Spacetime Rifts connect faction regions including Verteron, Altgard, Eltnen and Morheim and are used for cross-faction content, PvP and access to activities on the opposite faction's side.
The countdown should therefore prioritize the next portal opening, not just the total duration of the Rift session.
Why Is the Rift Timer Different From the Client Table?
The Global client contains a regional schedule table inherited from the wider AION 2 data set, while current Global trackers consistently observe the Global Rift cycle every three hours from 00:00 UTC. For this reason, the Global timer should use the observed Global cycle rather than blindly applying KR/TW hours.
AION 2 Shugo Festival Timer
Shugo Festival starts every hour on the hour.
Examples:
12:00 → 13:00 → 14:00 → 15:00 → 16:00.
The activity rotates between different Shugo mini-games such as Jump Jump, Hidden Lugi, Goldrin's Treasure, Defend Shugo Merchants and other short event modes.
The timer page should only answer when the next Festival starts. For objectives, Reward Keys, Centuryroot Tokens and game-specific strategies, use our AION 2 Shugo Festival Guide.

View All Aion 2 ServicesAION 2 Dimensional Invasion Timer
The current Global client schedule places Dimensional Invasion at :30 of every hour.
Examples:
12:30 → 13:30 → 14:30 → 15:30.
The event window is approximately 15 minutes.
Important: NC has confirmed Dimensional Invasion as active Global content, but has not published a standalone public Global timetable for the hourly rotation. The :30 schedule comes from the current client schedule and community-observed timer data. If the in-game Event menu differs after maintenance, the in-game schedule takes priority.
AION 2 World Boss Timer
Not every field boss in AION 2 has a fixed timer. The following Abyss bosses have recurring schedule data in the current Global client.
Watcher Kaira
Watcher Kaira spawns every three hours:
01:00 → 04:00 → 07:00 → 10:00 → 13:00 → 16:00 → 19:00 → 22:00.
Kaira appears in Chaotic Lower Reshanta and can use different spawn positions inside the relevant area.
Guardian Lord Nahma
Friday and Sunday at 12:00 UTC.
The schedule includes Guardian Lord Nahma in Lower Reshanta and Enraged Guardian Lord Nahma in Middle Reshanta.
Siege Bosses
Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 12:30 UTC, immediately after the scheduled Artifact Siege.
| Lower Reshanta | Middle Reshanta |
|---|---|
| Executor Argo | Executioner Dramos |
| Executor Kaira | Ravager Marakha |
| Executor Tamasa | Turncoat Ducal |
AION 2 Artifact Siege Timer
Artifact Siege currently follows a fixed three-day schedule:
Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 12:00 UTC.
Scheduled Siege Bosses then appear approximately 30 minutes later.
For Abyss access, AP, Artifacts and PvP progression, see our AION 2 Abyss Guide.
AION 2 Daily Reset Time
The current AION 2 Global daily reset is 07:00 UTC.
| Region | Example Reset Time |
|---|---|
| UTC | 07:00 |
| Central Europe during CEST | 09:00 |
| Central Europe during CET | 08:00 |
| US Eastern during EDT | 03:00 |
| US Eastern during EST | 02:00 |
| US Pacific during PDT | 00:00 |
This is why a timer is more reliable than memorizing a local clock time: daylight-saving changes can shift your displayed reset by one hour while the UTC reset remains the same.
AION 2 Weekly Reset Time
The Global weekly reset happens every Wednesday at 07:00 UTC.
Weekly counters, raid allowances and other limited activities refresh around this reset according to their individual rules.
For the complete list of daily and weekly activities, caps and priorities, see our AION 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist.
What Resets Daily and Weekly?
| Daily / Recharging Systems | Weekly Systems |
|---|---|
| Duty Missions | Raid allowances |
| Nightmare attempts | Ascension Trial entries |
| Shugo Festival Reward Keys | Subjugation tickets |
| Dimensional Invasion Reward Key | Exploration reward counts |
| Selected dungeon reward counters | Unknown Fissure / Daily Dungeon weekly pool |
Not every limited resource resets outright. Some activities regenerate attempts gradually and simply have a storage cap. Check the detailed Checklist before assuming an unused counter disappears every day.
Why Is My AION 2 Timer Different?
Several things can make an external timer disagree with the game:
- a maintenance window delayed or temporarily changed an event;
- the external page is using KR/TW instead of Global;
- your browser is showing a different time zone;
- daylight-saving time changed locally;
- NC modified the schedule in a patch;
- the page has been left open across a schedule update.
The in-game Global Event menu is the final reference when it disagrees with an external countdown.

How We Verify AION 2 Timers
We separate official Global announcements from client schedules and community-observed event times. Official NC Global information takes priority. Current Global client schedule data is used for recurring events where NC has not published a standalone timetable, and live Global trackers are used as a cross-check after patches.
