AION 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist: Reset Times & Priorities

AION 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist: Reset Times & Priorities

AION 2 endgame is built around daily refills, weekly limits and resources that can stop regenerating when they reach their cap. You do not need to complete every activity every day, but you should know which counters expire at the weekly reset and which resources can overflow if you ignore them.

Daily priority: complete your 5 Duty Missions, keep Odyle Energy below its cap, use Nightmare attempts, and avoid capping Conquest, Transcendence, Shugo Festival and Dimensional Invasion counters.

Weekly priority: before Wednesday reset, use your raid attempts, Ascension Trial entries, Subjugation tickets, Exploration rewards, daily-dungeon entries and available Abyss time.

Updated: October 5, 2026 for AION 2 Global launch.

AION 2 Daily and Weekly Reset Time

The current observed Global reset happens at 07:00 UTC.

The weekly reset happens on Wednesday at the same reset time.

RegionCurrent Daily ResetWeekly Reset
UTC07:00Wednesday 07:00
Europe / CEST09:00Wednesday 09:00
NA East / EDT03:00Wednesday 03:00
NA West / PDT00:00Wednesday 00:00
Brazil / BRT04:00Wednesday 04:00
Japan / JST16:00Wednesday 16:00

Daylight-saving warning: UTC is the safer reference. When Europe or North America changes clocks, your local reset hour can move even if the underlying Global reset remains unchanged. Always trust the countdown shown by the live client after a patch.

1. Complete 5 Duty Missions

At Level 45, Duty Missions become one of the easiest repeatable sources of Kinah and Abyss Points.

The important restriction is that the five rewarded completions are counted per server, not separately for every character.

That means creating alts does not give you another five full Duty payouts on the same server.

Known issue: NC has acknowledged a bug where opening the Duty tab before Level 45 can cause Duties to remain unavailable until the following day after reaching 45.

2. Keep Odyle Energy Below the Cap

Odyle Energy is the daily resource you should watch most carefully because it continues refilling while you are offline.

Recharge15 every 3 hours
Total natural recharge120 per 24 hours
Normal maximum560
Membership maximum840
Typical Conquest / Transcendence Cube40 Energy

A normal account can hold roughly 4 days and 16 hours of natural regeneration before Energy begins overflowing.

You therefore do not need to log in every three hours. Just avoid sitting at 560 for long periods.

If you need a full explanation of the system, Odyle sources and best spending order, we recommend treating that as a separate progression topic rather than mixing it with the daily checklist.

3. Use Nightmare Attempts

Nightmare gives 2 attempts per day and can store up to 14 attempts.

This means you can skip several days without losing attempts.

An attempt is consumed when you successfully clear the encounter, so failed attempts can be used to learn a higher tier without immediately wasting the daily resource.

For efficient weekly progression, push the highest tier you can reasonably clear rather than repeatedly farming a trivial boss simply because it is fast.

4. Do Not Cap Conquest Rewards

Conquest reward count regenerates by 1 every 8 hours and stores up to 21.

That is effectively one week's worth of natural recharge, so Conquest does not require a daily login.

The bigger restriction is Odyle Energy. If you have plenty of Conquest counts but no useful Cube to open, wait rather than spending Energy on obsolete loot.

Use our AION 2 Dungeons Guide to choose the tier that actually upgrades your character.

5. Do Not Cap Transcendence Rewards

Transcendence regenerates more slowly:

  • 1 reward count every 12 hours;
  • maximum 14;
  • about one week of stored recharge.

Once you reach the required Item Level, Transcendence becomes an important Arcana source.

See our AION 2 Transcendence Guide for stages and Item Level requirements.

6. Use Shugo Festival Keys Before They Cap

Shugo Festival grants 3 reward keys per day.

The standard cap is 12, while Membership increases the storage cap to 21.

That makes Shugo one of the systems where a free account can begin wasting refills after only several days of inactivity.

7. Use Dimensional Invasion Rewards

Dimensional Invasion grants one reward key per day and stores up to seven.

Like Nightmare and the main dungeon counters, it can therefore be banked for approximately one week.

AION 2 Weekly Checklist

Weekly counters are more important because most of them do not bank into the next week. If you leave them unused when Wednesday reset happens, the unused value is lost.

Weekly ActivityLimitTracked By
Sanctuary raid attempts4 per raidCharacter

Ascension Trial3 entriesCharacter
Subjugation3 ticketsCharacter

Do Sanctuary Raids Before Reset

Raid attempts refill on Wednesday and do not accumulate beyond the weekly limit.

If you are learning a raid, avoid waiting until the final hour of Tuesday. Organizing a group and learning mechanics can consume multiple attempts.

Abyssal Forge: Ludra has a separate rewarded-final-boss limit, so distinguish between entry attempts and rewarded kills.

Use All 3 Ascension Trial Entries

Ascension Trial gives three entries each week.

If you are progressing quickly, it can be efficient to use these later in the week because your Item Level may unlock a higher difficulty before reset.

Current important thresholds include approximately:

  • 1,000;
  • 1,500;
  • 2,000;
  • 2,500 Item Level.

Use Subjugation Tickets

You receive three weekly Subjugation entries.

Unlike counters that naturally regenerate during the week, unused weekly tickets simply disappear into the next reset cycle.

Use Exploration Reward Counts

Each Expedition dungeon receives 7 Exploration reward counts at the weekly reset.

Older Exploration dungeons can still be useful for cheap Enhancement Stone farming, alts or specific progression needs, but they should not take priority over a stronger Conquest upgrade for your main.

Use Your 14 Daily-Dungeon Entries

The so-called Daily Dungeon does not require exactly two runs every calendar day.

Its Global counter provides 14 entries per week and is shared per server.

Running two per day is simply an easy pacing method. You can save them and complete more runs later in the week.

Important for alts: because this counter is server-wide, running it on an alt consumes the same server pool your main uses.

Spend Abyss Time Before Wednesday

Each Abyss layer has a weekly base time allowance that resets to 7 hours.

Membership can increase the usable cap for eligible layers, but the base weekly time still resets rather than stacking forever.

Plan Abyss time around the content you actually want to complete rather than entering only to prevent a timer from being “unused.”

For AP, artifacts and PvP gear, use our AION 2 Abyss Guide.

The Most Important Weekly Rule: Claim Your Cube

Do not repeatedly clear Conquest or Transcendence and leave without claiming the Odyle Energy Cube.

The Global client tracks a separate Remaining Unobtained Cube Count per server.

If you clear and leave without taking the Cube, that counter still decreases. The weekly limit is 10.

Once it reaches zero, you can be blocked from entering affected Conquest or Transcendence content until the weekly reset.

If you do not have enough Odyle Energy or do not want the reward pool, it can be better to stop running that content rather than clear it and intentionally skip the Cube.

What Is Per Character and What Is Per Server?

Best AION 2 Weekly Schedule

Wednesday — After Reset

Check every weekly counter, schedule your raid group and make sure nothing unexpectedly changed after maintenance or a patch.

Thursday–Friday

Progress Conquest and Transcendence, keep Odyle Energy under cap and complete normal Duties.

Weekend

Good time for Abyss hours, raid progression, longer dungeon sessions and catching up banked Nightmare attempts.

Monday

Check what is still unused rather than continuing to farm content you already finished.

Tuesday — Before Reset

This is your cleanup day:

  • remaining raid attempts;
  • Ascension Trial;
  • Subjugation;
  • Exploration;
  • daily-dungeon entries;
  • Abyss time;
  • weekly Pass/season objectives;
  • weekly shop purchases you actually need.

What Can You Safely Skip for a Few Days?

SystemApprox. Time Before Natural Cap
Odyle Energy4 days 16 hours / about 7 days with Membership
Nightmare7 days
Conquest reward count7 days
Transcendence reward count7 days
Shugo Festival4 days / 7 days with Membership
Dimensional Invasion7 days

This means AION 2 does not require you to complete every activity every single day.

The most sensitive normal resource is Odyle Energy on a non-member account.

What Does Not Need a Daily or Weekly Counter?

When your limited activities are finished, you can continue working on uncapped or differently limited progression such as:

  • map exploration;
  • Empyrean Traces and Monolith progress;
  • Hidden Cubes;
  • gathering;
  • crafting;
  • many Sealed Dungeons;
  • class build optimization;
  • collections and permanent progression.

AION 2 Reset FAQ

What time is the AION 2 daily reset?

The current Global reset is observed at 07:00 UTC. That is currently 09:00 CEST in Central Europe, 03:00 EDT on NA East and 00:00 PDT on NA West.

What day is the weekly reset?

Wednesday at the same time as the daily reset.

Do daily dungeon runs reset every day?

No. The Global Unknown Fissure / Daily Dungeon counter provides 14 entries at the weekly reset. Two per day is only a convenient pacing strategy.

Does Nightmare need to be done every day?

No. You receive two attempts per day and can bank up to 14.

How fast does Odyle Energy regenerate?

15 every three hours, or 120 naturally per day.

Do weekly entries carry over?

Generally no for the main weekly-refill counters. Use Ascension Trial, Subjugation, Exploration, raid attempts and similar weekly allocations before Wednesday reset.

Are counters shared between alts?

Some are. Duty Mission payouts, daily-dungeon entries, Shugo Festival keys, Dimensional Invasion keys and certain Cube counters are tracked per server, while many major progression activities are per character.

Conclusion

AION 2's routine is easier when you think in caps instead of treating everything as a mandatory daily quest.

Every day, watch Duties, Odyle Energy and regenerating counters. Every week, make sure your non-banking raid, Ascension Trial, Subjugation, Exploration, Daily Dungeon and Abyss allocations are used before Wednesday.

If you are short on time, the single most important rule is simple: do not let valuable resources cap, and do not let weekly entries disappear unused at reset.
