Ogri'la is a level 70 reputation faction and daily quest hub on the western plateaus of Blade's Edge Mountains. In Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary, the faction became available with Phase 2 on May 14, 2026. Blizzard lists both Ogri'la and the Sha'tari Skyguard among the additions in the official Overlords of Outland announcement.
This guide explains every requirement for opening Ogri'la, the complete introductory chain, all four daily quests, the fastest daily route, Apexis currency, Shartuul's Transporter, reputation milestones, and the full quartermaster reward list. Ogri'la reputation comes from quests only, so finishing the correct unlocks and avoiding missed days matter more than farming ordinary enemies.
Ogri'la Requirements and Overview
| Category | Requirement or detail |
|---|---|
| Recommended level | Level 70 |
| Travel requirement | A flying mount is effectively required because the quest hub and objectives sit on isolated plateaus |
| Starting reputation | Unfriendly |
| Breadcrumb NPC | V'eru in Shattrath City at approximately 56.8, 48.2 |
| Unlock NPC | Mog'dorg the Wizened near the Circle of Blood at approximately 55.4, 44.8 |
| Quest hub | Western Blade's Edge Mountains between Forge Camp: Wrath and Forge Camp: Terror |
| Quartermaster | Jho'nass at approximately 28.0, 58.6 |
| Main currency | Apexis Shard and Apexis Crystal |
| Repeatable reputation | Three daily quests at Neutral and a fourth daily quest at Honored |
| Related faction | Several Ogri'la activities also award Sha'tari Skyguard reputation |
Normal flying is enough to reach the hub and finish its content, although an epic flying mount makes Bomb Them Again much safer. Players who want the reputation rewards but cannot maintain the time-gated schedule can review the Ogri'la Reputation Boost as an optional service.
How to Unlock Ogri'la
At level 70, visit V'eru in the central area of Shattrath and accept Speak with the Ogre. This breadcrumb sends you to Grok in Lower City, who directs you to Mog'dorg the Wizened. If V'eru does not offer the breadcrumb, check Grok and Mog'dorg directly because a character may already have started or completed one of those introductory steps.
Mog'dorg assigns three group quests at the same time. Each target is an elite enemy or gronn intended for a five-player party. After the first three objectives are returned, Grim(oire) Business and Into the Soulgrinder continue the sequence. These encounters are much easier with a tank, a healer, and three damage dealers, and every party member should confirm that the ground quest object is available before leaving a kill site.
| Step | Quest | Objective | Group advice |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Speak with the Ogre | Speak to Grok in Shattrath Lower City | Solo breadcrumb |
| 2 | Mog'dorg the Wizened | Meet Mog'dorg near the Circle of Blood | Solo travel step |
| 3 | Grulloc Has Two Skulls | Defeat Grulloc and collect the dragon skull | Suggested for five players |
| 4 | Maggoc's Treasure Chest | Defeat the patrolling Maggoc and take his chest | Suggested for five players |
| 5 | Even Gronn Have Standards | Defeat Slaag and recover the standard | Suggested for five players |
| 6 | Grim(oire) Business | Summon Vim'gol the Vile and obtain his grimoire | Players must coordinate the summoning circles |
| 7 | Into the Soulgrinder | Use the grimoire and defeat Skulloc Soulgrinder | Clear nearby enemies before starting the event |
| 8 | Speak with Mog'dorg | Return to Mog'dorg and receive the route to Ogri'la | Completes the main access chain |

Ogri'la Introductory Quests
After the elite chain, Mog'dorg offers Ogre Heaven and sends you to the Ogri'la plateau. The local quest lines introduce Apexis relics, the Skyguard outpost, bombing, aether ray wrangling, and the group monument. Complete every available non-daily quest because the repeatable activities are locked behind specific branches rather than reputation alone.
| Quest line | Key quests | What it unlocks | Ogri'la reputation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apexis relics | Ogre Heaven, The Crystals, An Apexis Relic, The Relic's Emanation | The Relic's Emanation daily | 25, 250, 250, and 350 |
| Gahk and the monument | Our Boy Wants To Be A Skyguard Ranger, A Father's Duty, A Fel Whip For Gahk, Guardian of the Monument | Finishes the major Ogri'la introduction and teaches the large monument event | 250, 250, 500, and 500 |
| Bombing | Bombing Run | Bomb Them Again daily | 500 |
| Aether rays | Wrangle Some Aether Rays | Wrangle More Aether Rays daily | 500 |
| Honored demons | Banish the Demons | Banish More Demons daily and access to Darkrunes | 350 |
The large monument step consumes 35 Apexis Shards and is intended for a group. Assign one player to each color pad, repeat the displayed sequence, then defeat the summoned Apexis Guardian. The initial Guardian of the Monument quest awards 500 reputation with both Ogri'la and the Sha'tari Skyguard, but the repeatable monument summon is a currency and loot activity rather than a daily reputation source.
All Ogri'la Daily Quests
Ogri'la has three permanent dailies after the opening chains and a fourth at Honored. Their base total is 1200 Ogri'la reputation per day before Honored and 1550 per day afterward. The initial Banish the Demons quest awards both Ogri'la and Skyguard reputation, but its daily follow-up awards Ogri'la reputation only.
| Daily quest | Standing | Objective | Ogri'la reputation | Skyguard reputation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Relic's Emanation | Neutral chain | Complete the eight-stage color sequence at an Apexis Relic | 350 | None |
| Bomb Them Again | Neutral chain | Bomb 15 Fel Cannonball Stacks while using a flying mount | 500 | 500 |
| Wrangle More Aether Rays | Neutral chain | Weaken and wrangle five Aether Rays | 350 | 350 |
| Banish More Demons | Honored | Banish 15 demons near portals at either Forge Camp | 350 | None |
Daily Quest Tactics

For The Relic's Emanation, spend one Apexis Shard to activate a small relic. Watch each color flash and record the order with the first letter of every color. Repeat the sequence only after the display finishes. The daily requires an eight-step emanation, so a shorter sequence buff is not enough. If an old Apexis Emanations buff prevents quest credit, remove the buff before beginning again.
For Bomb Them Again, place the provided bombs on an easy keybind and keep moving through Forge Camp: Wrath or Forge Camp: Terror. Approach a cannonball stack at low altitude, release the bomb without stopping, then climb or strafe away from incoming flak. A hit can dismount the character and apply damage over time, so low flight reduces lethal falling damage. Completing this and the other routine dailies is also available through the TBC Daily Quests service for players who want help maintaining a wider daily schedule.
For Wrangle More Aether Rays, attack a ray until it falls below roughly 40 percent health and becomes ready for capture. Stop damage immediately and use the supplied rope. Large critical strikes can kill the target before the channel finishes, so switch to weaker attacks near the threshold. Credit is granted when the wrangle completes and the ray does not need to be escorted back to the outpost.
For Banish More Demons, use a Banishing Crystal to place a portal, then kill valid demons close enough for their souls to be absorbed. The item consumes one Apexis Shard per portal and has a cooldown, so pull several manageable enemies toward the same location. Forge Camp: Wrath normally combines more cleanly with the bombing route than the southern camp.
Fastest Ogri'la Daily Route
- Start in Ogri'la and accept The Relic's Emanation from Chu'a'lor.
- Pick up Bomb Them Again and Wrangle More Aether Rays at the nearby Skyguard outpost.
- At Honored, add Banish More Demons from Kronk before leaving the hub.
- Complete the relic sequence first to obtain its movement speed buff for the remaining route.
- Move northeast through Crystal Spine and Vortex Pinnacle, weakening and capturing Aether Rays as they appear.
- Continue to Forge Camp: Wrath. Bomb cannonball stacks while killing demons beside the banishing portals.
- Return through the Ogri'la hub and turn in all four quests together.
This route keeps travel compact and uses the same northern forge camp for two objectives. A slow flying mount remains viable, but the safest bombing pattern is a continuous low pass instead of hovering above a target. When the area is crowded, group credit can speed up demon and aether ray objectives, while every player still handles personal quest items correctly.
Reputation Progress and Time to Exalted
The opening quests provide more than 3000 Ogri'la reputation when all branches and their first completions are included, moving a fresh character out of Unfriendly and into Neutral. After that, ordinary mobs, dungeons, and repeatable item turn-ins do not grant Ogri'la reputation. The grind is therefore controlled by daily resets and occasional Shartuul's Transporter completions.
| Stage | Reputation needed | Daily reputation available | Main unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unfriendly to Neutral | 3000 | Opening quest chains | Stable access to the hub and daily rotation |
| Neutral to Friendly | 3000 | 1200 | A Special Thank You and Ogri'la Care Package |
| Friendly to Honored | 6000 | 1200 | Banish the Demons, the fourth daily, and Shartuul's Transporter |
| Honored to Revered | 12000 | 1550 plus optional transporter reputation | Revered vendor equipment |
| Revered to Exalted | 21000 | 1550 plus optional transporter reputation | Exalted equipment and tabard |
A character completing every opening quest and every available daily should expect roughly four weeks of consistent resets to reach Exalted. The exact number changes with Human reputation bonuses, the amount of reputation carried beyond each threshold, and successful Shartuul events. Missing a reset cannot be recovered through unlimited mob farming.
Banish More Demons and Shartuul's Transporter
At Honored, Kronk first offers Banish the Demons and gives a guaranteed Darkrune. The following daily rewards Kronk's Grab Bag, which has a chance to contain another Darkrune. Darkrunes are unique, so use the one already in the inventory before opening additional bags.
Take a Darkrune to Gahk and exchange it through A Crystalforged Darkrune. The resulting Crystalforged Darkrune starts Shartuul's Transporter near Forge Camp: Wrath. This solo vehicle event places the player inside several demons in sequence. Learn every temporary ability before engaging the next wave, interrupt dangerous casts, and preserve defensive cooldowns for the final enemies.
A completed transporter event grants 750 Ogri'la reputation and can award a depleted item. It is not guaranteed every day because access depends on receiving a Darkrune from the daily bag. The event is valuable for shortening the reputation grind, but it should not replace the four guaranteed daily quests.
Apexis Shards and Apexis Crystals
Apexis Shards are bind on pickup and drop from many level 70 and higher enemies on the Blade's Edge plateaus. Daily quests, shard formations, and Kronk's Grab Bag provide additional sources. Shards pay for relic activations, summoned elites, consumables, quartermaster gear, and depleted item upgrades, so keep a reserve instead of spending the entire stack on vendor drinks.
Apexis Crystals come from elite Apexis encounters, including guardians summoned at large monuments. Quartermaster equipment at Revered and Exalted requires both shards and crystals. Reputation alone does not make those items free, which means a player targeting a specific reward should farm the currency before reaching the required standing.
Ogri'la Quartermaster Rewards
Jho'nass sells the faction rewards in western Ogri'la. The table below shows the reputation requirement and Apexis cost. Small gold prices may also apply to consumables, but the main limiting costs are shards and crystals.
| Standing | Reward | Type | Apexis cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neutral | Crystal Healing Potion | Health consumable | 50 Shards |
| Neutral | Crystal Mana Potion | Mana consumable | 50 Shards |
| Honored | Red Ogre Brew | Plateau health consumable | 2 Shards |
| Honored | Blue Ogre Brew | Plateau mana consumable | 3 Shards |
| Revered | Cerulean Crystal Rod | Wand | 50 Shards and 1 Crystal |
| Revered | Ogri'la Aegis | Shield | 50 Shards and 1 Crystal |
| Revered | Apexis Cloak | Back | 50 Shards and 1 Crystal |
| Revered | Crystalforged Trinket | Trinket | 50 Shards and 1 Crystal |
| Exalted | Crystalline Crossbow | Crossbow | 100 Shards and 4 Crystals |
| Exalted | Shard-bound Bracers | Plate wrists | 100 Shards and 4 Crystals |
| Exalted | Vortex Walking Boots | Leather feet | 100 Shards and 4 Crystals |
| Exalted | Crystal Orb of Enlightenment | Off-hand | 100 Shards and 4 Crystals |
| Exalted | Ogri'la Tabard | Tabard | 10 Shards |
Depleted Equipment Upgrades
Depleted equipment can drop from plateau enemies and from Shartuul's Transporter. Use a depleted item while carrying 50 Apexis Shards to transform it into its active version. Both the depleted and restored items are bind on equip, so they can be traded or sold before being equipped. No reputation rank is required for the transformation itself.
| Depleted item | Restored item | Upgrade cost |
|---|---|---|
| Depleted Cloth Bracers | Crystalweave Bracers | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Mail Gauntlets | Crystalhide Handwraps | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Badge | Badge of Tenacity | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Cloak | Crystalweave Cape | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Dagger | Crystal-Infused Shiv | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Mace | Apexis Crystal Mace | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Ring | Dreamcrystal Band | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Staff | Flaming Quartz Staff | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Sword | Crystalforged Sword | 50 Apexis Shards |
| Depleted Two-Handed Axe | Apexis Cleaver | 50 Apexis Shards |
Badge of Tenacity is the best-known result because its armor and on-use Agility are particularly valuable to Feral Druid tanks in Phase 2. Since both versions are bind on equip, checking the Auction House can be faster than waiting for the Depleted Badge to drop. Always compare the price of the finished trinket with the depleted version and remember that the upgrade still consumes 50 bind-on-pickup shards.
Common Ogri'la Mistakes
- Do not expect enemy kills to grant reputation. They provide shards and possible depleted drops, not Ogri'la standing.
- Do not skip one-time Skyguard branches. Bombing and aether ray dailies depend on their introductory quests.
- Do not hover during bombing runs. Constant low movement is safer against flak and falling damage.
- Do not kill an Aether Ray after it becomes wrangleable. Stop attacks before using the rope.
- Do not open Kronk's Grab Bag while holding a Darkrune because the rune is unique.
- Do not spend every shard before a relic, portal, monument, or depleted upgrade that needs currency.
- Do not assume Exalted is enough to buy gear. Revered and Exalted equipment also needs Apexis Crystals.
Ogri'la Progress Checklist
- Reach level 70 and learn flying.
- Begin with V'eru, Grok, or Mog'dorg depending on prior quest progress.
- Complete the five elite group encounters and return to Mog'dorg.
- Finish the Apexis relic, Gahk, monument, bombing, and aether ray introductions.
- Complete all three base dailies every reset for 1200 Ogri'la reputation.
- At Friendly, collect A Special Thank You and the care package.
- At Honored, complete Banish the Demons and add Banish More Demons to the daily route.
- Convert each Darkrune and complete Shartuul's Transporter when possible.
- Reserve enough shards and crystals for the desired quartermaster or depleted reward.
- Continue the 1550 reputation daily rotation until Exalted.
Final Verdict
Ogri'la is a structured Phase 2 reputation grind built around an elite opening chain, three core daily quests, and a fourth daily at Honored. The efficient approach is to unlock every branch in one pass, complete the relic before traveling, combine bombing with demon banishment at Forge Camp: Wrath, and save Apexis currency for a defined reward. Consistent resets matter most because normal farming cannot replace missed reputation, while Darkrunes and Shartuul's Transporter provide the only meaningful acceleration after Honored.
