AION 2 Dimensional Invasion is a level-45 recurring field event that starts every hour at :30 and rotates between Beritra Air Raid, Accursed Sword and Incursion of the Spirits. Players get a short entry window before a 10-minute invasion, fight waves and a final threat, earn Centuryroot Tokens and Enhance Stones, and can spend a Dimensional Invasion Reward Key for the additional reward pool.
Quick answer: a new Dimensional Invasion starts every hour at :30. The current Global client gives a 3-minute preparation/entry window followed by 10 minutes of event time. You receive one Dimensional Invasion Reward Key per day, can store up to seven, and the key pool is shared by characters on the same server.

When Does Dimensional Invasion Start?
Dimensional Invasion starts every hour at :30, every day of the week.
That means the recurring schedule is:
00:30 → 01:30 → 02:30 → 03:30 → 04:30 → 05:30 and so on through 23:30.
The Global client does not assign one fixed invasion type to each hour. One of the three events is selected from the Dimensional Invasion group, so you should not assume that, for example, Beritra Air Raid always appears at the same hour.
How Long Does Dimensional Invasion Last?
The current client schedule separates the event into a 3-minute ready/entry period and a 10-minute invasion period.
Do not wait until the final seconds to join. Once you see the invasion notification or event timer, enter during the preparation window so you can contribute from the start.
How to Join Dimensional Invasion
Dimensional Invasion is part of the level-45 Global content flow.
- Reach level 45.
- Watch for the Dimensional Invasion notification at :30.
- Use the event notification/timer near the map to enter while the lobby is available.
- Elyos access their invasion versions through Verteron.
- Asmodians use the corresponding Altgard versions.
- Enter during the 3-minute ready period.
- Participate actively during the 10-minute event.
- After the result, decide whether to spend a Dimensional Invasion Reward Key on the additional reward pool.
The Global client also records three entrance objects or NPC access points for each event in Verteron and Altgard. When the event begins, the game announces that a dimensional invasion has occurred and identifies the active location.

| Invasion | Main Threat | Boss | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beritra Air Raid | Beritra Brigade / Balaur assault | Air Raiders Captain Tetrata | Dredgion-led military invasion |
| Accursed Sword | Wraiths and a cursed battlefield | Executor of the Magical Sword | Release the revenant bound to the sword |
| Incursion of the Spirits | Spirits crossing from Etheria | Grandios | Stop the Spirit Realm invasion |
All three belong to the same Dimensional Invasion system and use the same Reward Key type. Current level-45 reward tables are also shared across both factions.
Beritra Air Raid
Beritra Air Raid begins when a Beritra Dredgion Transporter brings an assault force into the region. The event includes Drakan infantry, warmages, Air Raiders and other Balaur units, with Air Raiders Captain Tetrata as the principal named boss.
The objective is straightforward: stay active through the waves, damage the priority enemies and contribute to defeating the invasion before the event ends.
Do not confuse this field event with Beritra-themed raid or dungeon content. Search demand for “Beritra Air Raid” often mixes the two, but Dimensional Invasion is the short recurring field event covered here.
Beritra Air Raid and Monolith Rewards
The current client contains additional Monolith reward records specifically associated with some Beritra Air Raid field-event rows. These include Stamina progression and, on certain records, items such as Revelation Amulet Enhance Scrolls, Hidden Cube Keys or Soul Codex: Reset.
These records are not present in the same way for Accursed Sword or Incursion of the Spirits, so they should not be treated as a universal reward from every invasion.
Accursed Sword
Accursed Sword takes place around an ancient battlefield where the soul of a fallen Daeva remains bound to a cursed blade.
The event includes Daeva Wraiths, stronger Wraith variants and the Resentful Sword, ending around the Executor of the Magical Sword.
As with the other invasions, prioritize active objectives and high-value targets rather than spending long periods moving between low-value enemies.
Incursion of the Spirits
Incursion of the Spirits is built around the instability between Atreia and the Spirit Realm of Etheria.
Its enemies include Fire, Earth, Water and Wind Spirits, with Grandios leading the invasion.
This is still part of the same hourly Dimensional Invasion pool. It does not use a separate ticket or separate daily key allowance.
How Dimensional Invasion Scoring Works
Your contribution during the event matters. Current implementations measure combat participation and result quality rather than simply checking whether your character entered the map.
The safest way to maximize contribution is simple:
- stay on active objectives;
- deal consistent damage instead of remaining idle;
- use AoE when enemy waves are dense;
- save major burst cooldowns for high-value targets and the main boss;
- minimize travel and downtime;
- enter early enough to participate for the full event.
Older system-update data also establishes a minimum contribution threshold before rewards are awarded. Because NC does not publish a simple current Global formula such as “X damage equals Y rank,” do not rely on an unofficial exact DPS target.
Does Ranking Affect Rewards?
Current reward descriptions and client tables associate additional loot with the event result and contribution. Public Global documentation does not expose a complete rank-to-loot formula, so it is safer to treat higher contribution as beneficial without inventing exact thresholds beyond what the client confirms.
In practical terms, use an offensive PvE setup and participate continuously rather than joining only for the final boss.
Dimensional Invasion Reward Keys
You receive one Dimensional Invasion Reward Key per day and can store up to seven.
| Key Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Daily refill | 1 |
| Maximum stored | 7 |
| Ownership | Per server |
| Used to enter? | No |
| Used for | Additional event reward pool |
The key does not pay for entry. You can participate in an invasion without spending the key. The key is tied to the additional reward claim after participation.
Because the allowance is shared on the server, running the event on multiple alts does not generate a separate seven-key pool for every character.
Should You Save Dimensional Invasion Keys?
You can bank keys, but there is little reason to sit at the cap of seven. Once the pool is full, another daily refill cannot push it above seven.
A practical approach is to keep a few keys available for convenient runs while spending enough that you do not reach the cap before the next daily reset.
For all server-wide and character-specific daily counters, see our AION 2 Daily & Weekly Checklist.
Dimensional Invasion Rewards
At level 45, the current Global client separates the common participation reward table from the additional Key reward table.
Common Level-45 Reward Table
| Reward | Recorded Quantity |
|---|---|
| Centuryroot Token | 30 |
| Centuryroot Token | 20 |
| Enhance Stone | 700 |
Together, the two fixed Centuryroot Token entries represent 50 Centuryroot Tokens in the current common level-45 table, before additional weighted gear/material rolls.
Additional Reward Key Table
| Reward | Quantity | Current Client Rule |
|---|---|---|
| Enhance Stone | 1,200 | 100% independent entry |
| Abyss Points | 800 | 100% independent entry |
| Soul Codex (Bound) | 1 | Separate recorded entry |
| Centuryroot Token | 30 | 50% |
| Centuryroot Token | 40 | 30% |
| Centuryroot Token | 60 | 17% |
| Centuryroot Token | 100 | 3% |
The key reward table also contains equipment pools, including Elder, Wisdom and Holy Spirit gear entries for multiple weapon and armor slots.
Expected Centuryroot Tokens per Reward Key
The four Centuryroot Token outcomes in the current Key table have an expected value of:
(30 × 50%) + (40 × 30%) + (60 × 17%) + (100 × 3%) = 40.2 Centuryroot Tokens per key.
This is an ExpCarry calculation from the current Global reward probabilities, not an official fixed payout. An individual key can produce 30, 40, 60 or 100 tokens.
If the 50-token common participation table and the weighted key package both apply to a qualifying level-45 run, the table-level average is approximately 90.2 Centuryroot Tokens before other loot. That is an expected value, not a guaranteed amount.
What Gear Can Drop From Dimensional Invasion?
The latest Global 2.0.7.0 reward tables contain equipment for all major weapon and armor slots.
Recorded level-45 key pools include gear families such as:
- Elder weapons and armor;
- Wisdom weapons and armor;
- Holy Spirit weapons and armor.
The individual item probabilities are small because the game first rolls the relevant equipment pool and then selects from multiple class and armor-slot items. Do not interpret a listed sub-1% weapon chance as the total chance of getting any gear.
For overall gearing priorities after level 45, see our AION 2 Gear Progression Guide.
What Are Centuryroot Tokens Used For?
Centuryroot Token is the shared Festival currency used by Dimensional Invasion and Shugo-related content.
Current Festival Shop offers include character-progression resources such as:
- Daevanion Crystals;
- Stigma Shards;
- Soul Crystals;
- Radiant Odyle;
- plus wings, pets, artwork and cosmetic skins.
For the current shop structure and purchase priorities, use our AION 2 Shugo Festival Guide.
Dimension Defender Achievements
Dimensional Invasion has an eight-step long-term achievement chain. This matters because simply participating over time also adds Enhance Stones, Kina and two collectible titles.
| Achievement | Invasions | Enhance Stones | Kina | Extra Reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dimension Defender I | 3 | 240 | 3,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender II | 10 | 340 | 4,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender III | 30 | 430 | 5,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender IV | 60 | 560 | 7,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender V | 100 | 670 | 8,000 | Title: Welcome |
| Dimension Defender VI | 150 | 740 | 9,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender VII | 200 | 820 | 10,000 | — |
| Dimension Defender VIII | 300 | 900 | 11,000 | Title: Alien |
Across all eight tiers, the achievement chain awards 4,700 Enhance Stones and 57,000 Kina in addition to the two titles.
Welcome Title
The Welcome title is earned at 100 Dimensional Invasion participations. Owning it adds PvE Defense +10 to its collection bonus, while equipping it provides Combat Natural HP Regen +58.
Alien Title
The Epic Alien title is earned at 300 participations. Its owned collection bonus is PvE Attack +4; its equipped effects include Combat Natural MP Regen +39 and Combat Natural Stamina Regen +29.
Best Strategy for Dimensional Invasion
The event is short enough that wasted movement has a real cost. Build around immediate contribution rather than long setup.
- Enter during the ready window. Starting late means losing a large part of a 10-minute event.
- Use an offensive PvE preset. Pure tank or healing setups are less efficient when contribution depends heavily on active combat.
- Use AoE on waves. Dense groups are the fastest way to maintain contribution.
- Save major cooldowns intelligently. Do not finish the event with unused burst, but avoid spending everything on insignificant enemies immediately before the boss.
- Stay near the main objective. Long detours for isolated enemies reduce contribution.
- Keep attacking. Dead time matters more in a 10-minute event than in a long dungeon.
Should You Run Dimensional Invasion Every Day?
Yes, if you are level 45 and actively progressing your character. You only receive one new reward key per day, so you do not need to farm 24 invasions every day for key rewards.
However, regular participation still contributes to Dimension Defender achievements, and the event is short enough to combine with your normal daily route.
The efficient routine is:
- avoid capping at seven Reward Keys;
- run an invasion when it fits your schedule;
- actively contribute instead of joining at the end;
- spend the key when you want the additional reward pool;
- use Centuryroot Tokens on progression purchases before low-priority cosmetics if character power is your goal.
Dimensional Invasion vs Shugo Festival
| System | Dimensional Invasion | Shugo Festival |
|---|---|---|
| Start time | Every hour at :30 | Every hour at :00 |
| Type | Combat field event | Rotating mini-games |
| Key | Dimensional Invasion Reward Key | Shugo Festival Reward Key |
| Shared currency | Centuryroot Token | Centuryroot Token |
| Main focus | Combat contribution and invasion rewards | Mini-game performance and Festival rewards |
The two systems are complementary rather than alternatives: Shugo starts at :00 and Dimensional Invasion at :30, so both can fit into the same hour.
Common Dimensional Invasion Mistakes
- Thinking a Reward Key is required to enter.
- Waiting until the event has nearly ended before joining.
- Letting the seven-key pool remain capped.
- Assuming each character has a separate key pool.
- Confusing Beritra Air Raid with Beritra raid content.
- Assuming one invasion type always appears at a fixed hour.
- Using KR/TW schedules instead of current Global data.
- Focusing only on the boss and ignoring contribution during the rest of the event.

How many Dimensional Invasion Reward Keys do you get?
One key is added each day. The server-wide pool stores up to seven.
Are Reward Keys shared between alts?
Yes. The current ticket data is server-wide, and NC also describes Dimensional Invasion reward progress as server-wide in its Global server-transfer documentation.

Dimension Defender VIII requires 300 Dimensional Invasion participations and rewards the Epic Alien title along with Enhance Stones and Kina.
How We Verified This Guide
This guide prioritizes the current AION 2 Global client 2.0.7.0 for event rewards and achievement data, current Global EventSchedule records for timing, and official NC Global notices for server-wide progression behavior. Where the game client contains data that NC has not explained publicly, we label the value as client data rather than presenting it as an official gameplay guarantee.
