The configured Mythic Ula'tek kill is the primary service outcome. Individual weapons, trinkets, armor pieces, Tier Set rewards, mounts and other random drops remain subject to Blizzard's loot system unless a specific reward is explicitly included in the selected order.

How to Get Cutting Edge: Ula'tek

Cutting Edge: Ula'tek requires defeating Ula'tek on Mythic difficulty while the achievement remains obtainable for the current raid cycle.

You do not need to purchase another complete 8/8 Mythic clear if Cutting Edge itself is the only objective. The achievement requirement is the eligible Mythic Ula'tek kill, although the character must still be compatible with the Mythic raid ID used for the service.

Seasonal Feat of Strength: Cutting Edge must be earned while Blizzard keeps the achievement available for the current raid cycle. After the eligibility window closes, characters that already earned it retain the achievement, but new characters can no longer obtain that season's Cutting Edge.

Why Buy a Cutting Edge Boost?

A WoW Cutting Edge carry is the direct option when the seasonal Mythic achievement is the goal and earlier bosses are not part of the purchase objective.

You only need Cutting Edge: if the final Mythic achievement is the priority, an achievement-focused service avoids purchasing unrelated earlier raid progression.

Cutting Edge Boost vs Mythic Ula'tek vs 8/8 Mythic

Choose the Cutting Edge Boost when the Feat of Strength is the desired result. Use the dedicated Ula'tek product when the boss itself is the primary objective, and use the Mythic raid product when your character still requires broader raid progression.

Mythic Ula'tek Loot

Ula'tek belongs to the highest Mythic loot band in The Venomous Abyss. Eligible direct boss drops are currently item level 344 and can include weapons, trinkets, armor and other items from the final-boss reward pool.

Ula'tek can also drop the Slumbering Coil Curio, which eligible characters can exchange for an appropriate Tier Set piece.

The Curio and individual equipment pieces are not guaranteed simply by completing Cutting Edge. They must first drop and remain subject to the applicable loot, eligibility and trading rules.

Venom's End and Mythic: Ula'tek

The Mythic boss kill also awards Mythic: Ula'tek when its normal achievement conditions are satisfied. This achievement is associated with the Venom's End title.

Venom's End is separate from Cutting Edge. Cutting Edge identifies completion during the eligible seasonal window, while Mythic: Ula'tek records the Mythic boss kill itself.

Cutting Edge and Ahead of the Curve

Because Ahead of the Curve requires Ula'tek on Heroic or higher, an eligible Mythic kill can also satisfy the AotC boss requirement while Ahead of the Curve remains available.

If your objective is only the Heroic seasonal achievement and you do not need Mythic completion, choose the dedicated Ahead of the Curve Boost instead.

Is the Primeval Skyfriend Included?

No. A standard Cutting Edge Boost does not automatically guarantee the Primeval Skyfriend.

Mythic Ula'tek currently drops three Primeval Skyfriend mounts per kill, but those mounts are limited raid rewards. Completing the boss and earning Cutting Edge does not automatically allocate one of the available mounts to your character.

If the mount is your primary objective, use the dedicated Primeval Skyfriend Mount Boost, where mount allocation is explicitly included in the service scope.

Cutting Edge and Great Vault Progress

An eligible Mythic Ula'tek kill contributes one qualifying boss toward the Raid section of the weekly Great Vault. Raid choices unlock after 2, 4 and 6 qualifying current-season boss kills.

This means a Cutting Edge-only service does not unlock the first Raid choice by itself when the character starts the week with zero qualifying raid kills. Existing eligible Mythic or other qualifying raid progress can combine with Ula'tek toward the next threshold.

If Mythic Great Vault progression is a major objective, consider the Venomous Abyss Mythic Boost with a larger boss-count package.

Mythic Raid ID and Lockout Requirements

Mythic raid progress uses a more restrictive raid-ID system than Normal and Heroic. A character already bound to a different Mythic Venomous Abyss instance may be unable to join the raid ID assigned to the Cutting Edge service.

• Report every existing Mythic Venomous Abyss kill before scheduling.
• Provide your current raid ID if the character already has Mythic progress.
• Do not join another Mythic Venomous Abyss group after your service slot is confirmed.
• Wait for support approval when the character has an unusual or partially completed lockout.

Lockout compatibility is reviewed before the final raid slot is confirmed. A conflicting Mythic raid ID can prevent the character from joining the assigned group during the current weekly reset.

20-Player Mythic Ula'tek Team

Mythic raids use a fixed 20-player roster. The Cutting Edge service therefore requires a prepared raid composition, a compatible instance and a team capable of completing the final encounter.

Scheduling depends on region, raid-ID compatibility, selected play method and current Mythic-team availability. The final slot is confirmed individually after the order has been reviewed.

Self-Play and Piloted Cutting Edge Runs

Self-Play: you control your character and join the organized Mythic Ula'tek raid at the confirmed time. Follow the raid leader's encounter strategy, positioning, defensive assignments and other instructions during the kill.

Piloted: where displayed as an available option, the configured Mythic achievement objective is completed according to the corresponding service conditions.
