What to Finish Before Patch 12.1
Complete the available Midnight campaign
Finish the main Midnight campaign on at least one character before beginning the Curse of Ula’tek story. The new narrative continues the story of Zul’jan and leads players toward the Coiled Isle, where the secrets of Atal’Utek and the island’s corruption become central to the campaign.

Understand the Coiled Isle progression systems
The zone includes a custom talent system that provides combat and quality-of-life benefits while exploring the island. Announced examples include effects that reduce the impact of venom found throughout the zone. Unlock this system early, then review its options as you gain access to additional activities.
Do not confuse the zone talent tree with the Altar of Corrosion. The talent system improves your ability to operate in the Coiled Isle, while the Altar of Corrosion is a separate power system. Corrosive Souls and Corrosive Coins are also separate resources and should not be treated as interchangeable progression currencies without live confirmation.
Prepare for the Venomous Abyss Raid
The Venomous Abyss is the new eight-boss raid for Midnight Season 2. Ula’tek is the final boss, and the raid opens with the start of Season 2 rather than with the initial Curse of Ula’tek content update.

Prepare for the New Delves
