Superbloom is still available in WoW in 2026, but it should now be treated as legacy Dragonflight content rather than current Midnight endgame gearing. The event still runs in the Emerald Dream every hour on the hour, follows Sprucecrown around Amirdrassil, and remains useful for collectors, Dream Wardens reputation, Dreamseeds, Dragonflight achievements, the A World Awoken meta, transmog farming, and players working on older questlines such as Fyr'alath-related objectives.

This guide explains where the WoW Superbloom starts, its timer, how to unlock it, how to complete every stage, how Bloom and Dreamfruit work, what rewards still matter, how to solo it, and what to do when Clarelle or the weekly quest does not appear. It is written for current Retail WoW rather than assuming Dragonflight Season 3 is still the active endgame.

What Is the Superbloom Event in WoW?

The Superbloom is a public world event introduced with Dragonflight Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream. You escort the Ancient of Life Sprucecrown around Amirdrassil while completing short objectives: gathering Dreamfruit powers, watering plants, removing weeds or pests, defeating Primalists and filling the shared Bloom progress bar.

The event is connected to Emerald Dewdrop, Dreamseeds, Emerald Bounties and Dream Wardens reputation. In 2026 the event still exists, but participation can be much lower than when Dragonflight was current, making correct timing and solo catch-up mechanics more important.

Superbloom Location: Where Does It Start?

The event takes place in the Emerald Dream, around Amirdrassil. At the beginning of the hour, look for the horn-shaped public-event icon on the zone map. The icon follows Sprucecrown as he moves, so if you arrive late, follow the moving horn instead of waiting at the original starting point.

The weekly quest giver, Clarelle, travels with Sprucecrown. Many players think the quest is missing when Clarelle has simply started moving with the event.

/way #2112 63.0 57.6 Valdrakken Emerald Dream portal

How to Unlock the Emerald Dream and Superbloom

The original unlock route starts with Call of the Dream and the Dragonflight 10.2 storyline. Completing the first chapter, Enter the Dream, unlocks the zone's main features, including world content and the Dream Wardens system.

After the Emerald Dream portal is unlocked on the account, alts have much easier access. The Valdrakken portal leads to the Central Encampment once the relevant Dragonflight introduction has been completed.

If You Cannot See the Superbloom

  • Confirm you are in the Emerald Dream, not another Dragon Isles phase.
  • Check the map shortly before the top of the hour.
  • If the event has started, follow the moving horn icon.
  • If Clarelle has no quest outside the event window, check again when the Superbloom is beginning.
  • If the character looks incorrectly phased, leave the zone, return and verify Dragonflight campaign progress.

WoW Superbloom Timer and Schedule

Superbloom starts every hour at the top of the hour. You do not manually trigger it. If your clock shows 18:42, the next event begins around 19:00. The event generally lasts about 15–20 minutes, although fast progression can shorten some stages.

TimeWhat to Do
5–10 minutes beforeEnter the Emerald Dream, locate the horn and pick up The Superbloom from Clarelle.
Top of the hourSprucecrown starts moving; collect the first Dreamfruit power.
During eventComplete every nearby objective and prioritize fast Bloom-generating tasks.
Final stageDefeat the Primalist waves and final elite.
After completionLoot the event rewards and turn the weekly quest in to Clarelle.

How to Do the Superbloom: All Stages Explained

Wowhead's Emerald Dream guide describes the event as a five-phase activity with two possible middle-stage variants. The opening and final parts are consistent, while the middle tasks can rotate.

Stage 1 — The Tree Rises

Stay near Sprucecrown and interact with the large Dreamfruit plants. Choosing a Dreamfruit grants a temporary power that helps during the Superbloom and elsewhere in the Emerald Dream. Consuming Dreamfruit is also required by the weekly quest.

Middle Variant A

  • Pest Patrol: deal with insect swarms and nearby pests.
  • Growing Concerns: kill Primalists in marked areas.
  • Seeding Chaos: dig up mulch piles and complete event interactions.

Middle Variant B

  • The Dream Gathers: water flowers near Sprucecrown.
  • The Folly of Youth: defeat Primalists.
  • Invasive Species: pull weeds and clear growth.

Final Stage — An Unruly Storm

Defeat the incoming Primalists until the final elite becomes available. Current Wowhead documentation identifies Verlann Timbercrush as the final Superbloom enemy. Finishing this phase completes the event.

How Bloom Works and How to Reach Epic Quality

Every useful action during the event contributes Bloom. This is shared progress, so active players raise reward quality together. Many non-combat objectives generate Bloom very quickly—especially flowers, weeds, pests and highlighted interactions.

BloomRewardTypical Contents
2,300+Sprouting DreamtroveLegacy Dragonflight resources including Emerald Dewdrops
5,600+Budding DreamtroveMore resources plus a chance at Dragonriding customizations
8,000Blossoming DreamtroveHighest documented tier, more resources and a Dreamseed

For Super Duper Bloom, complete a Superbloom at Epic Bloom quality. In quieter 2026 shards this can still be achievable solo because low-population compensation can greatly increase your effective contribution.

Fastest Ways to Gain Bloom

  • Start at the beginning instead of joining only for the final boss.
  • Click Dreamfruit and complete objective interactions immediately.
  • Prioritize flowers, weeds, pests and highlighted objects over random mob grinding.
  • Stay close enough to Sprucecrown to catch every phase transition.
  • Take advantage of the solo scaling buff when population is very low.

Dreamfruit Powers and Fruit of the Bloom

Dreamfruit grants temporary powers for damage, healing, movement, crowd control, survivability or faster event progress. The achievement Fruit of the Bloom requires selecting all 20 possible Dreamfruit powers over multiple Superbloom runs.

Dream Wardens Renown originally unlocked additional Dreamfruit access, making it easier to cycle through the collection. If achievement completion is your goal, track missing powers instead of always choosing the strongest combat option.

The Superbloom Weekly Quest and Rewards

The Superbloom from Clarelle requires you to:

  • consume a Dreamfruit power;
  • earn at least 50 Bloom;
  • complete the Superbloom.

The quest awards Cache of Overblooming Treasures. During Dragonflight it contained Dream Wardens reputation, gear and a Dreamseed. Blizzard also listed Emerald Dewdrops, Dreamseeds, cosmetic armor, Dragonriding manuscripts and reputation among Superbloom-related rewards.

Do not treat historical item-level values as Midnight gearing advice. Old Season 3/4 Veteran or Explorer gear references describe Dragonflight's active reward system, not current endgame progression.

Why Farm Superbloom in 2026?

1. Super Duper Bloom and A World Awoken

Super Duper Bloom is part of the Dragonflight achievement ecosystem and matters for A World Awoken. ExpCarry also tracks Dragonflight achievement rewards in our WoW Housing Achievements by Expansion guide.

2. Dream Wardens Reputation

The weekly event remains useful for legacy Dream Wardens progression. See our Dream Wardens page.

3. Dreamseeds and Emerald Bounties

Dreamseeds start Emerald Bounty activities. Small Dreamseeds lean toward cosmetics, Plump Dreamseeds toward battle pets and Gigantic Dreamseeds toward mounts.

4. Transmog Farming

Superbloom weekly rewards can contain distinctive Emerald Dream armor appearances. Because weapons and non-set pieces can compete with set drops, completing a full appearance may take multiple weekly resets or alts.

5. Fyr'alath Legacy Quest Progress

Players still completing older Fyr'alath progression can encounter Superbloom-related farming during the legendary questline. See our Fyr'alath, the Dream Render page.

Can You Solo Superbloom?

Yes. Low-population runs can receive Lone Wolf's Insight, which improves your ability to complete objectives and earn Bloom when few other players are participating. Players have reported reaching Epic quality solo.

Solo Tips

  • Arrive before the event starts.
  • Choose Dreamfruit powers that improve mobility, AoE or survivability.
  • Keep moving with Sprucecrown.
  • Do every fast click/interact objective.
  • Use a tankier or self-sustaining build if legacy scaling feels awkward.
  • If necessary, use Custom Group Finder for a busier shard.

Superbloom Achievements

Superbloom, Emerald Frenzy and Emerald Bounty

  1. Superbloom: earn Bloom, Dreamseeds and Emerald Dewdrops.
  2. Emerald Frenzy: farm additional Emerald Dewdrops and Dream fragments.
  3. Emerald Bounty: plant Dreamseeds and contribute Dewdrops while they grow.

For mount collectors, see our Dragonflight 10.2 Mount Guide.

Superbloom Not Starting or Quest Missing?

Legacy content can have phasing and quest-visibility issues. In 2026 players have reported both successful weekly quest pickups and cases where Clarelle does not offer the quest on specific characters.

Checklist

  • Wait for the actual event window. Clarelle may be easier to find when Superbloom begins.
  • Follow the moving horn. Clarelle moves with Sprucecrown.
  • Check campaign progress. Emerald Dream features originally unlock through Guardians of the Dream.
  • Leave and re-enter the zone to refresh phasing.
  • Try another character if account-wide and character-specific states appear inconsistent.
  • Check the weekly quest flag before assuming the quest is bugged.
