World of Warcraft: Forever currently has 14 new named gameplay reputation factions represented in beta client data. They are spread across Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, Darkspear Islands and the wider world, but they are not all built around the same type of progression. Some already have repeatable reputation sources and standing-based rewards, while others are currently represented mainly through quest progression, faction records or content whose complete reputation loop is still being tested. Two additional new reputation-pane system entries, Legacy Track and PvP Rank Points, are not treated as normal world factions in this guide. The safest approach is to follow the reward you actually need instead of assuming every faction should immediately be pushed to Exalted.
How many new reputations are in WoW Forever?
The current Forever beta data contains 14 new named gameplay reputation factions: Cenarion Scouts, Kirin Tor, Barkskin Burrow, Nightclaw Druids, Guardians of Hyjal, Windshapers, High Order, Bolder'ok Clan, Earthen Ring, Darkspear Raiders, Theramore Expeditionary Force, The Watchers, Brotherhood of the Horse and Powderfuse.
Which WoW Forever reputations have the clearest rewards?
Darkspear Raiders and Theramore Expeditionary Force have a complete PvP reward progression from Friendly through Exalted. Guardians of Hyjal has an important Revered reward tied to Artisan's Tier equipment, while Nightclaw Druids, The Watchers, Kirin Tor, Earthen Ring and Powderfuse also have standing-gated rewards visible in current beta client data.
Which reputation can already be repeatedly farmed?
Nightclaw Druids have one of the clearest current PvE examples. Their Zephras Isle quest chain leads into the repeatable More Al'Aketh Ears turn-in, which currently awards 1,000 reputation per completion.
Are any new Forever reputations mandatory for raids?
No new Forever faction is currently confirmed as a mandatory entry requirement for Barrow Deeps or Hyjal Summit. Their final attunement requirements are still not fully established. Existing raid systems such as Naxxramas can still retain older reputation-based requirements, but those should not be confused with the new Forever factions.
Updated: September 22, 2026. This guide uses current Forever beta and client data. The beta runs from September 17 through October 21, with Forever scheduled to launch on November 4, 2026, so reputation gains, vendor inventories and reward requirements can still change before release. When a faction exists but its repeatable grind, quartermaster or later standing rewards are not currently exposed, that information is marked as unknown instead of being filled with mechanics from another version of World of Warcraft.
All New WoW Forever Reputations
The new reputation roster covers leveling factions, regional story groups, PvP factions and level-60 progression. The table below shows what is currently visible in beta data and, just as importantly, where the available information does not yet support a complete farming route or reward list.
| Faction | Main Area | Current Reputation Source | Known Reward Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cenarion Scouts | Azeroth wilderness | No reliable repeatable reputation loop is currently verified | No standing-gated item rewards currently identified in client data |
| Kirin Tor | Dalaran and Kirin Tor content | Forever Kirin Tor progression; complete repeatable route is not yet mapped | Friendly profession recipes and an Exalted tabard are currently visible |
| Barkskin Burrow | Mount Hyjal | Ceremonial Mastic currently grants 150 reputation; its complete acquisition and repeatable route are not yet mapped | No standing-gated item reward table currently identified |
| Nightclaw Druids | Zephras Isle | Shadowgale Forest quests and repeatable More Al'Aketh Ears turn-in | Quest gear, Friendly and Honored profession recipes, and Shadowgale Squirrel at Revered |
| Guardians of Hyjal | Mount Hyjal | Hyjal reputation content; complete optimal farm is not yet mapped | Rousing Seed Pod at Revered and tabard at Exalted |
| Windshapers | Zephras Isle | Skyborne story progression; complete repeatable route is not yet mapped | No standing-gated item rewards currently identified |
| High Order | Zephras Isle | Skyborne story progression; complete repeatable route is not yet mapped | No standing-gated item rewards currently identified |
| Bolder'ok Clan | Riverglades | Riverglades content; complete reputation loop is not yet verified | No standing-gated item rewards currently identified |
| Earthen Ring | Zephras Isle transition and wider Azeroth | Forever quests already award reputation | Friendly profession recipes are visible; later standing rewards are not yet established |
| Darkspear Raiders | Darkspear Islands | Darkspear Islands PvP | Gear rewards from Friendly through Exalted |
| Theramore Expeditionary Force | Darkspear Islands | Darkspear Islands PvP | Gear rewards from Friendly through Exalted |
| The Watchers | Night elf prison-related content | Complete reputation-earning loop is not yet mapped | Watcher’s Signet progression from Friendly through Exalted, with additional Honored components |
| Brotherhood of the Horse | Riverglades | Riverglades affiliation is confirmed; complete reputation-gain loop is not yet verified | No standing-gated item rewards currently identified |
| Powderfuse | Riverglades / Powderfuse Port | Complete reputation-earning loop is not yet mapped | Standing rewards are currently visible at Friendly, Honored and Revered |
A faction appearing in beta reputation data confirms that the reputation exists, but it does not automatically prove that every stage from Neutral to Exalted is currently reachable through a complete playable loop. Reputation gains, repeatable quests, vendor inventory and some rewards can depend on server-side content that is not visible through the faction record alone, and all beta values remain subject to change before launch.
Zephras Isle Reputations
Zephras Isle contains the first new reputations a Skyborne character can encounter. Windshapers and High Order are closely tied to the Skyborne's two cultural paths, while Nightclaw Druids function as an independent local faction with their own story and one of the clearest repeatable reputation farms currently visible in Forever.
Windshapers
The Windshapers are the shamanistic spiritual leaders of the Skyborne. Their identity is built around the elements and the Skyborne's long history inside Skywall, where understanding elemental forces became essential to protecting their people and preserving the shen'dorei way of life.
They are especially relevant to Horde-aligned Skyborne progression. Reputation is tied to the Zephras Isle storyline and the Windshapers' transition from their isolated homeland toward the wider world of Azeroth.
The important point for farming is that Windshaper reputation currently behaves primarily like story progression rather than a proven unlimited kill grind. There is no reliable current basis for interrupting the Skyborne storyline to search for an unsupported repeatable farming method.
The faction uses the normal reputation ladder, but current beta client data does not identify standing-gated item rewards comparable to the better-defined factions. Until more reward and reputation-source data is exposed, the efficient route is to complete the relevant Skyborne storyline rather than trying to force Exalted through assumptions based on other WoW factions.
High Order
The High Order represents a different side of Skyborne culture. Its members descend from the Highborne magisters of Eldre'Thalas and spent thousands of years in Skywall before returning to the wider world. Their current faction description emphasizes reclaiming the arcane knowledge of their forebears rather than the elemental tradition followed by the Windshapers.
High Order reputation is tied to the Skyborne story and is especially relevant to the Alliance side of that progression. Like Windshapers, the faction already exists with a normal reputation ladder, but current beta client data does not identify a complete standing-based item reward progression.
For now, High Order should be treated as a faction you build naturally while completing the appropriate Zephras Isle storyline. Do not use an old Highborne, Shen'dralar or later-expansion reputation guide as a substitute: High Order is its own Forever faction with its own standing and progression rules.
The practical reason to keep progressing it is that Forever uses new factions to connect its new stories and long-term progression. Until additional rewards or repeatable sources are confirmed, however, there is no evidence-based reason to force an Exalted grind outside the intended content.
Nightclaw Druids
Nightclaw Druids are a secretive group of Skyborne druids living independently in Shadowgale Forest. They are not simply another branch of Windshapers or High Order; their quest line presents them as a small isolated order trying to survive attacks from the Al'Aketh cult and protect the few druids they have left.
Unlike many of the new factions, the current Nightclaw progression already shows exactly how a character begins building reputation. Early quests provide multiple reputation awards while you investigate the attack on the druids, heal survivors, fight cultists and discover the betrayal behind the assault.
| Quest | Current Reputation Reward | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Unnerving Silence | 100 | Introduces the Nightclaw problem in Shadowgale Forest |
| The Wounds of Betrayal | 500 | Rescue and investigate injured Nightclaw Druids |
| Feathers for Binding | 500 | Collect materials needed to treat the wounded |
| Unwanted and Unworthy | 500 | Fight Al'Aketh forces and recover Bloodied Heirlooms |
| The Ties That Bind | 1,000 | Confront Commander Haalien and progress the betrayal storyline |
| Ripped Missive | 500 | Return information discovered during the conflict |
| Mercy Falls on Deaf Ears | 1,000 | Turn in Al'Aketh Cultist's Ears and receive a gear choice |
| More Al'Aketh Ears | 1,000 | Repeatable reputation turn-in after the initial progression |
The repeatable More Al'Aketh Ears quest is what makes Nightclaw Druids particularly notable. Instead of stopping when the story progression reaches this point, you can continue collecting the required Al'Aketh Cultist's Ears and complete the repeatable turn-in for another 1,000 reputation.
The preceding Mercy Falls on Deaf Ears quest offers a choice between Nightclaw Gloves, Shadowgale Pants and Cult Hunter's Boots. These are quest rewards, but Nightclaw also now has actual standing-gated rewards visible in beta client data: Friendly and Honored unlock profession recipe sets, while Revered currently lists Shadowgale Squirrel.
For players currently able to access this beta content, the efficient route is straightforward: finish the Nightclaw storyline first, collect the one-time reputation awards, and only then use More Al'Aketh Ears if you specifically want to push the faction farther toward its standing rewards.
Riverglades Reputations
Riverglades introduces three new factions currently represented in the Forever beta client: Brotherhood of the Horse, Powderfuse and Bolder'ok Clan. Riverglades is designed as a level 35-45 frontier zone connected geographically and narratively to existing Eastern Kingdoms regions, so these factions are part of the new zone's broader integration into Azeroth rather than isolated endgame systems.
Brotherhood of the Horse
The Brotherhood of the Horse consists of former members of Stormwind's cavalry who left their old life behind and established themselves along the eastern frontier. Their faction description emphasizes building a new home, relationships and trade routes rather than serving as a conventional Stormwind military organization.
This gives the faction a clear place in Riverglades' frontier theme. The zone focuses heavily on the people and groups trying to establish themselves in a new part of Azeroth, and the Brotherhood fits directly into that approach.
The current beta client confirms the reputation itself, but it does not yet provide enough information for a responsible Neutral-to-Exalted route. A complete reputation-gain loop and standing-gated item reward progression are not currently established. Complete relevant Brotherhood content when it explicitly awards reputation, but do not assume every Riverglades activity contributes to the faction.
Until clearer reputation sources and reward breakpoints are exposed, there is no evidence-based reason to rush this faction ahead of other Riverglades content.
Powderfuse
Powderfuse is the goblin faction associated with Powderfuse Port, the major trading hub in Riverglades. The group is linked to the Steamwheedle Cartel and populated by sailors and traders operating across the region's sea routes.
Powderfuse matters beyond reputation flavor because the port itself connects Riverglades to the new Steamwheedle boat route. That gives the faction a natural role in travel, commerce and the wider economic identity of the zone.
Current beta client data now shows actual standing-gated Powderfuse items. Friendly currently includes Crawler's Clackers, Disengagement Ring and Misplaced Pantaloons; Honored lists Primitive Fishing Pole and Thrash's Trash; Revered lists Haughty Fellow's Monocle. An Exalted item reward is not currently identified in the same data.
The important missing piece is the complete reputation-earning loop. Until the exact repeatable sources and their rates are established, Powderfuse should not be presented as having a verified Neutral-to-Exalted farming route.
Bolder'ok Clan
The Bolder'ok Clan is one of the more unusual new factions. Its members are former Twilight's Hammer followers who were exiled after rejecting the false prophets they once served. Rather than remaining simple enemies, they are attempting to create an identity separate from the cult.
That makes the Bolder'ok Clan useful to Riverglades' broader theme of groups trying to establish new lives on the frontier. Their connection to the Twilight's Hammer also creates narrative tension with the cult's continued activity across Forever's new content.
The faction page supports a full reputation ladder, but current beta data does not yet establish a reliable repeatable source or standing-gated item reward progression. A visible Exalted threshold proves the faction supports reputation progression; it does not prove that the complete path to reach it is currently available or optimized.
Until the farming route is visible, complete Bolder'ok content that explicitly awards reputation and avoid spending time on an unverified kill grind.
Mount Hyjal Reputations
Mount Hyjal introduces two factions tied directly to the new level-60 zone: Guardians of Hyjal and Barkskin Burrow. Of the two, Guardians of Hyjal currently has the more important confirmed character-power reward because Revered standing affects how many Artisan's Tier items a level-60 character can equip.
Guardians of Hyjal
The Guardians of Hyjal are a splinter faction of the Cenarion Circle charged with protecting and preserving Mount Hyjal. The faction welcomes outside help against the threats facing the mountain, making it one of the natural reputation hubs for Forever's level-60 Hyjal content.
What makes Guardians of Hyjal especially important is that the faction already has a confirmed reward with direct gearing consequences. At Revered, a level-60 character can use the Rousing Seed Pod.
The current item effect increases the number of Artisan's Tier items you can equip to two. That means Revered is not simply an achievement or cosmetic target: characters using Artisan's Tier crafted equipment can have a direct progression reason to reach it.
At Exalted, current beta client data also lists the Guardians of Hyjal Tabard. The distinction between those two rewards matters. Revered already has a practical power-related purpose, while the currently identified Exalted reward is cosmetic.
The complete optimal reputation farm is not yet sufficiently mapped, so there is no justified claim about exact reputation per hour or how long Revered takes. The practical priority is to complete Hyjal faction content and target Revered if Rousing Seed Pod is relevant to your gearing plan.
Barkskin Burrow
The Barkskin Burrow represents a group of furbolgs that avoided the corruption affecting many other tribes. Their current faction description focuses on safeguarding their spiritual heritage and restoring harmony to Mount Hyjal.
This gives them a different role from Guardians of Hyjal. Guardians are a Cenarion-aligned defensive organization, while Barkskin Burrow represents a local people with their own spiritual connection to the mountain and its restoration.
Current beta client data includes Ceremonial Mastic, a bind-on-pickup item that grants 150 reputation with Barkskin Burrow. However, its complete acquisition route and whether it supports a repeatable farming loop are not yet sufficiently established. No standing-gated Barkskin Burrow item rewards are currently identified.
For now, Barkskin Burrow should not be treated as a known mandatory Exalted grind. Use confirmed reputation sources as they become available and wait for clearer reward breakpoints before committing to a long farm.
Darkspear Islands PvP Reputations

Darkspear Islands has one of the most complete new reputation structures currently visible in Forever. Horde characters build reputation with Darkspear Raiders, while Alliance characters progress Theramore Expeditionary Force. Both factions are tied directly to the new 15v15 battleground and offer usable rewards at every major reputation tier.
Darkspear Raiders
Darkspear Raiders are loyal to the Darkspear troll nation and fight to secure the islands they view as their ancestral territory. For Horde characters, this is the Darkspear Islands reputation track.
Unlike many of the new PvE factions, the reason to progress Darkspear Raiders is already clear: each major standing opens another group of PvP equipment. Friendly begins with trinkets, Honored adds jewelry and a cloak, Revered unlocks weapons and off-hands, and Exalted finishes with armor pieces and the Darkspear Battle Tabard.
Theramore Expeditionary Force
Theramore Expeditionary Force is the Alliance counterpart. Its members fight for Theramore's interests in the same battleground and use a parallel reward structure with Alliance-themed versions of the same major equipment categories.
The two reputations are faction-specific rather than reputations that one character progresses together. Horde characters earn Darkspear Raiders standing; Alliance characters progress Theramore Expeditionary Force.
| Standing | Reward Category | Alliance Examples | Horde Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Friendly | Trinkets | Enriched Seal, Volunteer's Lucky Seal | Darkspear Voodoo Seal, Relentless Raider's Seal |
| Honored | Cloak, rings and necklace | Expeditionary's Cape, Militant's Band, Theramore Signet, Seal of the Expedition | Darkspear Raider's Cloak, Darkspear Signet, Insurgent's Band, Darkspear Warding Pendant |
| Revered | Weapons and off-hands | Insurgent's Manifesto, Clever Expeditionary's Spellblade, Guerilla's Jagged Mace, Rebels' Rugged Reaper | Tome of the Darkspear Prophecy, Darkspear Insurgent's Spellblade, Darkspear Skirmisher's Bludgeon, Darkspear Raider's Reaper |
| Exalted | Hands, shoulders and tabard | Theramore armor pieces and Theramore Battle Tabard | Darkspear armor pieces and Darkspear Battle Tabard |
Darkspear Islands victories currently reward three Marks of Honor, while losses award one. Marks can be spent on PvP equipment or exchanged for other progression, including reputation-related rewards, so playing the battleground advances several goals at once rather than functioning only as a reputation bar.
There is also a Legacy incentive to finish the grind. Current Legacy Challenge data awards one Legacy Point for reaching Exalted with Darkspear Raiders or Theramore Expeditionary Force. That makes Exalted relevant even after your character has replaced individual PvP vendor items.
If PvP is one of your main activities, these two factions are among the new reputations with the clearest reason to continue all the way to Exalted because the reward progression is already visible from beginning to end.
Cenarion Scouts
The Cenarion Scouts are young nature enthusiasts dedicated to exploring and protecting Azeroth's wilderness. Unlike Guardians of Hyjal, which is tied directly to Mount Hyjal, the Cenarion Scouts are described more broadly as explorers operating across the world.
The faction fits Forever's emphasis on adding new outdoor content to existing regions of Azeroth rather than isolating every new system inside a single expansion continent.
Current beta faction data confirms the reputation itself, but it does not yet expose a reliable repeatable farming loop or standing-gated item reward progression. Do not import Cenarion Circle reputation methods from Classic as a substitute for missing Forever data.
Cenarion Scouts and Cenarion Circle are not interchangeable reputation bars. Even when their themes overlap, reward requirements and farming sources must be checked against the Forever faction itself.
Kirin Tor
The Forever Kirin Tor represents Dalaran's ruling body of powerful magi. The organization is familiar from later World of Warcraft expansions, but its presence as a Forever reputation must be treated in the context of Forever's own Dalaran story and level-60 timeline.
This distinction is particularly important because Forever also adds the City of Dalaran dungeon. Familiar names do not mean Wrath of the Lich King Kirin Tor tabards, dailies or reputation routes have simply been copied into Forever.
Current beta client data now shows standing-gated Kirin Tor rewards. Friendly currently includes Azure profession recipes for multiple armor professions, while Exalted lists a Kirin Tor Tabard. The complete repeatable reputation route is still not sufficiently mapped.
That means Kirin Tor is no longer a faction with completely unknown standing rewards, but its efficient Neutral-to-Exalted farming path still cannot be responsibly described until the reputation sources are better established.
Earthen Ring
Forever's Earthen Ring is presented as a Horde-aligned collective of shamans and druids dedicated to protecting the balance of nature. It is directly relevant to Horde Skyborne because the Windshaper storyline introduces characters to the Earthen Ring as they leave Zephras Isle and begin exploring Azeroth.
The current The Earthen Ring quest sends a Skyborne character from Zephras Isle to Mulgore and currently awards 100 reputation with the faction. That provides direct evidence that the reputation is already integrated into normal character progression rather than being only an unused client record.
The faction should not be confused with Cataclysm's version of The Earthen Ring. Old Vashj'ir and Cataclysm reputation routes do not establish how Forever's reputation is meant to progress.
Questing is already a confirmed source, and current beta client data also shows a set of Cloudy profession recipes at Friendly. Later standing rewards and a complete repeatable farming route still need to be verified within Forever before they can be treated as part of an optimized reputation path.
The Watchers
The Watchers are an order of powerful night elf jailers and marshals responsible for maintaining an underground prison network and ensuring dangerous threats do not escape. That identity makes them especially relevant to Forever's prison-related content.
The faction now has a clearer reward structure than early beta data suggested. Current client data lists variants of Watcher's Signet at Friendly, upgraded signets plus additional components at Honored, and further Watcher's Signet upgrades at Revered and Exalted.
What is still missing is a sufficiently mapped reputation-earning loop. Complete quests or activities that explicitly award Watchers reputation, but do not assume every prison-related dungeon kill grants reputation unless the beta or live game confirms it.
This is a good example of why reward data and farming data must be evaluated separately: standing rewards can already be visible even while the most efficient route to earn that standing remains unclear.
How WoW Forever Reputation Ranks Work
The new factions use the familiar World of Warcraft reputation ladder. Most characters will begin at Neutral or another faction-specific starting point, then move through Friendly, Honored and Revered before reaching Exalted.
| Standing | Reputation Needed for Next Rank | Typical Forever Use |
|---|---|---|
| Neutral | 3,000 | Starting relationship and early progression |
| Friendly | 6,000 | First standing rewards where they exist |
| Honored | 12,000 | Mid-tier rewards or progression |
| Revered | 21,000 | Major rewards such as Rousing Seed Pod for Guardians of Hyjal |
| Exalted | Maximum standing | Final vendor rewards, cosmetics or Legacy completion where applicable |
These thresholds explain why repeatable reputation quests matter so much. A 1,000-reputation turn-in like More Al'Aketh Ears represents a much larger share of the early reputation ladder than it does of the 21,000-point Revered-to-Exalted stretch.
Which WoW Forever Reputations Should You Farm First?
The most useful order depends on the reward you are trying to reach. With several factions still missing a fully mapped earning loop or complete reward progression, there is little reason to grind every reputation equally during beta.
- Guardians of Hyjal to Revered: prioritize this on a level-60 character using Artisan's Tier gear because Rousing Seed Pod currently raises the equipped-item limit to two.
- Darkspear Raiders or Theramore Expeditionary Force: prioritize these if you play PvP because every major standing has gear and Exalted also contributes to Legacy progression.
- Nightclaw Druids: finish the full Zephras Isle chain first, then use the repeatable More Al'Aketh Ears turn-in if you want Friendly and Honored profession rewards or the Revered Shadowgale Squirrel.
- Kirin Tor, Earthen Ring and The Watchers: consider their currently visible standing rewards, but verify that you have an efficient reputation source before committing to a long grind.
- Windshapers, High Order and Riverglades factions: build reputation through confirmed content and avoid forcing an unverified grind until their complete progression is better mapped.
- Other world factions: progress Cenarion Scouts and Barkskin Burrow through explicitly confirmed reputation sources and use actual reward breakpoints rather than automatically targeting Exalted.
The efficient rule is to stop at the standing that gives the reward you need. Exalted is useful when it unlocks a meaningful item, cosmetic, Legacy Challenge or another requirement; it is not automatically the correct target for every character.
How to Farm WoW Forever Reputation Efficiently
Forever currently uses several reputation structures, so a single universal farming method does not exist. The efficient route combines one-time quests, confirmed repeatable turn-ins, PvP activity and other faction-specific sources according to the individual reputation.
- Finish one-time progression first: story quests can provide reputation while also unlocking later content and, in some cases, repeatable sources.
- Do not assume every faction has a repeatable: a reputation appearing in the client does not prove that an unlimited farming loop is currently accessible.
- Use repeatables where they are actually confirmed: Nightclaw Druids already has a verified 1,000-reputation More Al'Aketh Ears turn-in.
- Combine PvP goals: Darkspear Islands can provide reputation, gear progression, Marks of Honor and Legacy progress through the same activity.
- Farm to a reward breakpoint: Revered Guardians of Hyjal is more meaningful than blindly chasing Exalted if your goal is the Artisan's Tier equipment-limit increase.
- Do not import old expansion methods: familiar names such as Kirin Tor and Earthen Ring use Forever-specific reputation progression and rewards.
- Separate client rewards from server-side farming data: a vendor item can be visible in beta data even when the exact quest, kill or turn-in route for earning the required reputation has not yet been mapped.
If you want to avoid repeating a long reputation grind manually, the WoW Forever Reputation Farm can be used for the specific faction and standing you need. The relevant target should still be chosen around an actual reward, unlock or progression requirement rather than Exalted for its own sake.
Which Reputations Are Required for WoW Forever Raids?
No new Forever reputation is currently confirmed as a mandatory attunement requirement for Barrow Deeps or Hyjal Summit. Their final attunement requirements are still not fully established, so a thematic connection to Guardians of Hyjal or another faction should not be presented as proof that reputation blocks raid entry.
| Raid | Current Reputation Requirement | What Is Safe to Say Now |
|---|---|---|
| Barrow Deeps | No new reputation requirement confirmed; final attunement remains TBD | Do not farm a new faction solely for raid access yet |
| Hyjal Summit | No Guardians of Hyjal requirement confirmed; final attunement remains TBD | Guardians of Hyjal has useful rewards, but it is not currently confirmed as an entry requirement |
| Onyxia's Lair | Forever attunement requirements are not yet fully established | Do not assume every Classic attunement detail remains unchanged |
| Naxxramas | Argent Dawn-linked attunement quests remain represented in current Forever data | Existing reputation-based attunement progression is still relevant |
Naxxramas is the important distinction. Current Forever beta data still contains the Argent Dawn-linked Naxxramas attunement structure, with higher Argent Dawn standing reducing the cost of entry. Argent Dawn is an existing Classic faction rather than one of the 14 new Forever reputations, but it still matters when discussing reputation-based raid access.
WoW Forever Reputation Rewards Worth Watching
Not every faction currently has a complete reward ladder or a fully mapped reputation route, so the most useful reward list is built around items already visible in current Forever beta data rather than speculative vendors. Other current examples outside this table include Watcher's Signet upgrades for The Watchers, Friendly Kirin Tor and Earthen Ring profession recipes, and Friendly-to-Revered Powderfuse items.
| Faction | Standing | Known Value |
|---|---|---|
| Guardians of Hyjal | Revered | Rousing Seed Pod increases Artisan's Tier equipped-item limit to two |
| Guardians of Hyjal | Exalted | Guardians of Hyjal Tabard |
| Darkspear Raiders | Friendly | PvP trinkets |
| Darkspear Raiders | Honored | Cloak, rings and necklace |
| Darkspear Raiders | Revered | Weapons and off-hands |
| Darkspear Raiders | Exalted | Hands, shoulders, tabard and Legacy Challenge progress |
| Theramore Expeditionary Force | Friendly-Exalted | Alliance equivalents of the Darkspear Islands PvP progression |
| Nightclaw Druids | Quest progression and Friendly-Revered | Quest gear, Friendly and Honored profession recipes, and Shadowgale Squirrel at Revered |
As additional beta data and server-side reputation sources become visible, this is the section that should continue to expand. Every reward listed should have an actual Forever source rather than being inherited from another version of a similarly named faction.
WoW Forever Reputations FAQ
The questions below cover the practical differences between the new factions, which ones can already be farmed reliably and which standings currently have meaningful rewards.
How many new reputation factions are in WoW Forever?
Current beta data contains 14 new named gameplay reputation factions. Legacy Track and PvP Rank Points also appear as new reputation-pane system entries, but they are not normal world factions and are not counted in the 14 listed in this guide.
Which reputation is easiest to repeatedly farm right now?
Nightclaw Druids has one of the clearest current PvE loops because More Al'Aketh Ears awards 1,000 reputation per repeatable completion.
Which reputation is best for PvP?
Darkspear Raiders for Horde and Theramore Expeditionary Force for Alliance are the dedicated Darkspear Islands PvP tracks. Both unlock PvP equipment at Friendly, Honored, Revered and Exalted.
Which reputation matters for crafted gear?
Guardians of Hyjal currently has the clearest direct equipment-limit connection. Rousing Seed Pod requires Revered and increases the Artisan's Tier equipped-item limit to two.
Should I grind Guardians of Hyjal to Exalted?
Revered currently provides the major functional reward. Exalted adds the tabard in current beta data, so whether you continue farther depends on completion goals and any additional rewards added or changed before release.
Which reputations are on Zephras Isle?
Windshapers, High Order and Nightclaw Druids are the main new reputation factions directly tied to Zephras Isle.
Which reputations are in Riverglades?
Brotherhood of the Horse, Powderfuse and Bolder'ok Clan are tied to Riverglades.
Which reputations are in Mount Hyjal?
Guardians of Hyjal and Barkskin Burrow.
Does Nightclaw reputation have a repeatable quest?
Yes. After progressing the relevant Shadowgale Forest storyline, More Al'Aketh Ears currently provides a repeatable 1,000-reputation turn-in.
Does reaching Exalted with the Darkspear Islands faction give Legacy progress?
Yes. Current Legacy Challenge data awards one Legacy Point for reaching Exalted with Darkspear Raiders or Theramore Expeditionary Force.
Is Guardians of Hyjal required for Hyjal Summit?
No such reputation requirement is currently confirmed. Hyjal Summit's final Forever attunement requirements are still not fully established.
Do I need a new reputation for Barrow Deeps?
No new faction requirement is currently confirmed for Barrow Deeps, and its final attunement requirements remain to be fully established.
Is Argent Dawn still important?
Yes. Current Forever beta data retains Argent Dawn-linked Naxxramas attunement quests, although Argent Dawn is not one of Forever's new factions.
Should I push every new faction to Exalted?
No. Farm to the reward, unlock or Legacy goal you actually need. Several factions still have incomplete farming or reward data during beta, so blindly farming Exalted provides no guaranteed benefit.
Conclusion
WoW Forever uses reputation in several different ways: leveling stories, regional progression, PvP gearing, profession rewards and level-60 character development. The factions with the clearest current value already show how different those roles can be, from the repeatable Nightclaw grind and its profession rewards to Darkspear Islands PvP gear, Watcher's Signet progression and the Guardians of Hyjal Artisan's Tier unlock.
The practical approach is to treat every faction individually. Complete its confirmed progression, identify the standing that unlocks something useful and only then decide whether a longer grind is worth the time. Because Forever is still in beta as of September 22, reputation gains, vendor inventories and requirements should be rechecked before or immediately after the November 4 launch.
