WoW Forever New Zones and Exploration Guides

Blizzard has announced four major new or substantially expanded regions: Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Shen'dralas, and Mount Hyjal. Each serves a different part of the level 1–60 journey.

These are announced content ranges rather than exact entry requirements. Forever does not use zone-level scaling, so your character's level, travel options, and quest prerequisites still matter.

Zephras Isle — Skyborne Starting Zone

Zephras Isle is the level 1–12 starting area for the Skyborne, Forever's new playable race. Its elemental setting, quest hubs, class introductions, and travel connections make it distinct from the familiar Classic starting zones.

The Skyborne choose Horde or Alliance during character creation. Their faction determines which racial storyline and class options apply, while the island itself can also be visited by other characters under the available travel rules.

Riverglades — Frontier Quests and New Factions

Riverglades adds more than 150 quests across much of the mid-30s to mid-40s leveling experience. Its frontier settlements, trade routes, and competing interests offer an alternative to relying entirely on familiar Classic quest zones.

New regional groups include Brotherhood of the Horse, Bolder'ok Clan, and Powderfuse. Their reputation systems are represented in beta data, but complete repeatable farming routes are not yet established for every faction.

Shen'dralas — Hidden History and Centaur Storylines

Shen'dralas introduces a previously unexplored area between Mulgore and Desolace, with connections to the Shen'dralar, Eldre'Thalas, Dire Maul, and nearby centaur tribes.

Blizzard has positioned the area within the middle portion of the leveling journey but has not published a precise final level bracket. Rather than assigning an unsupported range, our New Zones Guide tracks the confirmed setting and available progression information.

Mount Hyjal — Outdoor Endgame and Reputation Progression

Mount Hyjal returns as a major endgame region centered on the aftermath of Archimonde's defeat. It includes new exploration areas, faction content, and connections to major level 60 activities.

The current client data identifies Guardians of Hyjal and Barkskin Burrow as regional reputations. The zone is also connected to Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps, although outdoor quest progression and raid entry requirements should be treated as separate systems.

WoW Forever Reputation Guides and Faction Rewards

Reputation progression in Forever is connected to different types of content. Some factions are part of regional storylines, others provide profession recipes or endgame rewards, and some are advanced through PvP activities.

The available beta data identifies 14 new named gameplay reputation factions, but not every one has a confirmed repeatable farming route or a complete reward list. A faction appearing in the reputation panel does not prove that reaching Exalted is currently possible or necessary.

These examples represent different progression goals rather than a universal ranking of the best factions. The appropriate target standing depends on the reward you want and which reputation sources are actually available.

Kirin Tor, Nightclaw Druids, and Hyjal Reputation

The Kirin Tor Reputation Guide explains the faction's connection to Dalaran, its known quartermaster, reputation requirements, and currently identified rewards. The available beta records include profession recipes at Friendly and a tabard at Exalted, but a complete Neutral-to-Exalted farming route has not yet been confirmed.

Nightclaw Druids are associated with the Zephras Isle storyline. Their documented progression includes quests in Shadowgale Forest and a repeatable turn-in, making them one of the better-understood early Forever reputation paths in the current client data.

Guardians of Hyjal, meanwhile, connect reputation progression with endgame rewards. A reward visible at Revered is especially relevant to Artisan's Tier equipment progression. Check the Reputations Guide before committing to a long grind, since a reward being visible in beta data does not establish the fastest live farming method.

Darkspear Islands and PvP Reputation

Darkspear Islands should not be confused with a conventional questing zone. It is a new 15-versus-15 Battleground located off the coast of Dustwallow Marsh, with capture points and a central flag objective.

Alliance players can advance reputation with Theramore Expeditionary Force, while Horde players work toward Darkspear Raiders rewards. These factions are relevant to PvP equipment and faction progression rather than ordinary outdoor leveling routes.

How to Plan Zone Exploration and Reputation Progression

Choose your next activity based on your character's level and the reward you need. For a new Skyborne character, completing the starting storyline on Zephras Isle comes before worrying about advanced faction rewards. Around the middle of the leveling journey, Riverglades provides additional questing opportunities. At higher levels, Mount Hyjal and its reputations become more relevant.

For reputation farming, prioritize confirmed quest chains and unlocks before repeatedly killing enemies or collecting items. Some factions have documented repeatables, while others currently rely on incomplete client records. Farming every faction to Exalted without checking its rewards is usually inefficient.
