The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan is WoW Midnight's first Labyrinth: a large Delve-style activity with nine connected chambers, difficulty Tiers 1–11, Valeera Sanguinar as your companion, its own Journey progression and an optional Kindo'jan boss at higher tiers. It launches with Patch 12.1.5 during Midnight Season 2.
Quick answer: start the Labyrinth north of Amani Pass in Eversong Woods at approximately 63.0, 72.2. Every three chambers form a major reward checkpoint. A complete nine-chamber run can produce up to 3 Bountiful Coffers and 6 Bountiful Heavy Trunks. Complete all nine chambers on Tier 8 or higher to open the Speaker's Chamber and fight Kindo'jan.
The activity can award Hero-track catch-up gear, progress toward limited Myth-track gear, Great Vault credit, cosmetics, titles, toys and the Loa-Blessed Wayfarer mount from the Tier 11 solo Kindo'jan challenge.
Where Is the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan?
The entrance is in Eversong Woods, north of the Amani Pass.
/way #15968 63.0 72.2 Labyrinth of Kindo'jan Entrance
The introductory chain begins with The Labyrinth from Kul'amara the Fierce in Tokka's Landing. You then meet Valeera at the entrance and complete a short tutorial run.
During that introduction, you begin in the Chamber of Rites and meet the spirit Kinduru, who becomes your guide and exit point inside the Labyrinth. Finishing the introduction unlocks the full Labyrinth experience Warband-wide.
How the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan Works
The easiest way to understand the system is to think of one full Labyrinth as roughly three Delves joined together. You choose routes through chambers instead of following one fixed corridor, and your reward room becomes richer as more chambers are cleared.
You do not have to clear all nine chambers every time. You can end a run through Kinduru after a shorter push and still claim the rewards you earned.
Important: ending the run is not the same as saving the same run for later. Current pre-release testing indicates that chamber progress is not preserved between separate Labyrinth runs. If your goal is Kindo'jan, plan enough time to clear all nine chambers in one run.
All 9 Labyrinth of Kindo'jan Chambers
| Chamber | Position / Role |
|---|---|
| Chamber of Rites | The starting chamber for every run. |
| The Reliquary | Southwest section containing guarded Amani treasures. |
| Halazzi's Lair | Western chamber associated with ritual objectives. |
| The Central Chamber | Main junction connecting several parts of the Labyrinth. |
| The Catacombs | Southeastern chamber filled with restless dead. |
| The Cave Towers | Eastern trials once used for Hash'ey and loa speakers. |
| Akil'zon's Roost | Northern chamber leading toward the Speaker's Chamber. |
| Jan'alai's Refuge | Northwest chamber mixing combat and movement objectives. |
| Nalorakk's Rest | Northeast chamber frequently involving necromantic threats. |
Every run begins in the Chamber of Rites. Early in the route, you normally choose between The Reliquary and The Catacombs. Reaching the Central Chamber opens more route options.
You cannot unlock the next chamber before finishing the current one, so route planning matters if you are hunting a particular treasure, sealed room or Journey objective.

The Labyrinth scales rewards with depth rather than making a nine-chamber clear mandatory.
| Progress | Cumulative rewards | Great Vault |
|---|---|---|
| 3 chambers | Up to 1 Bountiful Coffer + 2 Bountiful Heavy Trunks | Counts as 1 Delve completion |
| 6 chambers | Up to 2 Bountiful Coffers + 4 Bountiful Heavy Trunks | Counts as 2 Delve completions |
| 9 chambers | Up to 3 Bountiful Coffers + 6 Bountiful Heavy Trunks | Counts as 3 Delve completions |
| Kindo'jan defeated | Ancestral Bounty and boss-specific rewards | +1 additional Delve completion |
Full-run Great Vault value: clearing nine chambers and defeating Kindo'jan can provide four Delve activity credits in one Labyrinth run.
The Labyrinth is always treated as Bountiful in the current design. If you want to open every available Bountiful Coffer after a full clear, make sure you have enough Restored Coffer Keys.
Labyrinth Tiers 1–11
The Labyrinth uses the same 11-tier difficulty ladder associated with Midnight Delves. Completing three chambers at a tier can unlock the next Delve difficulty if you have not already unlocked it elsewhere.
| Labyrinth milestone | Result |
|---|---|
| Complete 3 chambers on Tier 1 | Unlock Tier 2 Delves |
| Complete 3 chambers on Tier 2 | Unlock Tier 3 Delves |
| Continue through Tiers 3–7 | Progressively unlock higher Delve tiers |
| Complete 3 chambers on Tier 7 | Unlock Tier 8 Delves |
| Tier 8+ | Kindo'jan becomes available after all 9 chambers |
| Tier 11 | Highest challenge tier and required tier for the main solo achievements |
You do not need to kill Kindo'jan merely to unlock the next normal Delve tier. Three completed chambers are the relevant progression milestone.
How to Unlock and Fight Kindo'jan
Kindo'jan is not automatically waiting at the end of every low-tier Labyrinth.
To enter the Speaker's Chamber and challenge him, you need to:
- Select Tier 8 or higher.
Kindo'jan is only available from Tier 8 onward. - Complete all nine chambers in the same run.
A partial 3- or 6-chamber clear still gives rewards but does not open the final boss. - Enter the Speaker's Chamber from Akil'zon's Roost.
A waystone and spectral Altar of Corrosion are available before the fight for final adjustments. - Defeat Kindo'jan.
His Ancestral Bounty adds another reward layer beyond the normal chamber treasure room.
Kindo'jan Boss Mechanic That Matters Most
The fight rewards clean execution more than reckless damage. Current PTR testing gives players Disgraceful Display whenever they are hit by certain avoidable mechanics. Reaching three stacks within five minutes kills the player, including tanks.
Kindo'jan also has an eventual enrage after roughly ten minutes, so the encounter is not infinitely safe. The practical priority is to dodge correctly first and push damage second.
Hero-Track Gear and Heroic Soul Fragments
Bountiful Coffers inside the Labyrinth can contain Heroic Soul Fragments.
Current pre-release data uses this system:
- collect 3 Heroic Soul Fragments;
- combine them into a random Hero 2/6 item;
- the current PTR item level for that reward is 308.
The Labyrinth also contains limited Blessed Loa Armaments. These create a Hero-track armor item in a slot you choose, giving you more control than the random Soul Fragment reward. Weapons and trinkets are not selectable through this armor-slot reward.
How Myth-Track Gear Works
One of the biggest reasons to run the Labyrinth is its new path to Myth-track armor without a raid or Mythic+ drop.
In the latest pre-release build, the spirit Wah'du appears after the introductory quests and sends you to complete a specified chamber objective on Tier 8 or higher.
The current reward is:
- 1 Mythical Soul Fragment;
- 2,000 Undercoin.
Three Mythical Soul Fragments combine into a Venerated Loa Armament, which creates a Myth 1/6 armor piece in the slot you choose. Current PTR data lists that reward at item level 318.
Pre-release detail: PTR testing strongly indicates that Wah'du's requests will be weekly-gated on live servers and include catch-up for missed requests. Blizzard has confirmed Mythic gear from the Labyrinth, but the exact live quest cadence should be rechecked after the first reset.
Labyrinth of Kindo'jan Journey
The Labyrinth has a separate nine-rank Journey in addition to the normal Delves Journey. Current data requires 2,100 progress for each rank.
The Journey is not cosmetic filler. Its ranks gradually unlock shortcuts, sealed treasure rooms, temporary powers and permanent Labyrinth upgrades.
| Rank | Important unlock |
|---|---|
| 1 | Rank 5 Curios can appear in Tier 8+ Labyrinth rewards |
| 2 | Locked Room, Keeper of the Key and Elemental Hexmasks |
| 3 | Akil'zon seals, treasures and Falco Strikes Battle Art |
| 4 | Kinduru can transport you to chambers already completed during the run |
| 5 | Jan'alai seals and Heat Wave Battle Art |
| 6 | Spiritual Conduits begin appearing |
| 7 | Nalorakk seals, Ferocity upgrade and Ursine's Ironhide |
| 8 | Delve-O-Bot 7001 Labyrinth destination upgrade becomes available |
| 9 | Halazzi seals, Shroud upgrade, Eye of the Lynx and final hidden treasures |
The regular weekly Delves turn-in A Gnawing Void of Curiosity is currently expected to give 2,000 Labyrinth Journey progress in addition to its normal value, making Journey progression substantially faster than the standard Delves track.
Ancient Chests, Hexmasks and Secrets
The Labyrinth contains 44 Ancient Chests. Some are accessible immediately, while others require specific Journey ranks and loa seals.
Rewards can include transmog, housing decor, currencies, Journey progress and reputation.
Elemental Hexmasks
Starting from Journey Rank 2, three Hexmasks can appear during a run:
- Frozen Hexmask — uses Frost Nova and slows enemies;
- Fiery Hexmask — channels ramping Fire damage;
- Thundering Hexmask — casts Chain Lightning between enemies.
The masks follow you for the rest of the run, so finding them can make a later Kindo'jan attempt easier.
Spiritual Conduits
Journey Rank 6 introduces temporary loa-powered conduits. Only four appear per run and their effects last about two minutes, so use them when they are useful rather than saving them indefinitely.
- Akil'zon — increased combat speed;
- Jan'alai — repeated AoE Fire damage;
- Nalorakk — major damage reduction;
- Halazzi — executes low-health non-boss enemies.
Kindo'jan Tier 11 Solo Rewards
The Labyrinth contains several of the most demanding solo objectives in Midnight Season 2.
| Achievement | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan | Defeat Kindo'jan solo on Tier 11 during Season 2 | Loa-Blessed Wayfarer mount |
| Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo'jan | Defeat him solo on Tier 11 before the first weekly reset after release | Fabled prestige title |
| One-Champion Army | Clear all 9 chambers and defeat Kindo'jan solo on Tier 11 without losing a life | Lone Raider title |
| The First Hash'ey | Defeat Kindo'jan after a full Tier 8+ clear | Title |
| Whose Labyrinth? | Complete all nine chambers on Tier 11 | Title |
Time-sensitive: Fabled Let Me Solo Him is the one you cannot leave for later in the season. It must be completed before the first weekly reset following Kindo'jan's introduction.
Does the Labyrinth Count for the Great Vault?
Yes. It belongs to the Delves system.
- 3 chambers = 1 Delve activity credit;
- 6 chambers = 2 credits;
- 9 chambers = 3 credits;
- Kindo'jan = one additional credit.
A complete Tier 8+ run with Kindo'jan can therefore contribute four activities toward the Delves section of your weekly Great Vault.
Best First-Week Route
- Finish the introduction immediately.
This unlocks the full Labyrinth Warband-wide. - Push at least three chambers on the highest useful tier.
You gain rewards and can advance your Delve-tier unlocks. - Prioritize Tier 8.
Tier 8 is the important breakpoint for Kindo'jan and the current Mythical Soul Fragment quest. - Build Labyrinth Journey progress.
Early Journey ranks unlock tools that make later full clears easier. - Carry enough Restored Coffer Keys.
A full run can create three Bountiful Coffers. - Attempt nine chambers when you have time for a full run.
Leaving ends chamber progress for that run. - If you are capable of Tier 11 solo, prioritize Fabled immediately.
The Fabled achievement disappears after the first weekly reset.
