WoW Forever Alchemy Guide: Leveling 1-300, Gold and Recipes

WoW Forever Alchemy Guide: Leveling 1-300, Gold and Recipes

Alchemy in World of Warcraft: Forever is a primary crafting profession built around potions, elixirs, oils, transmutes and profession utility rather than gear production. The profession still reaches 300 skill, but the Forever beta changes how you should level it: healing potions are currently made through First Aid instead of Alchemy, so an old Classic 1-300 route that spams healing potions is no longer a safe plan. The practical route is to move through cheap orange and yellow Alchemy recipes, keep useful mana and utility consumables instead of vendoring everything, unlock the three Alchemy Camping objects at their current skill thresholds, and treat the endgame as a mix of consumable sales, rare recipes and cooldown-based transmutes.

What is the best profession to pair with Alchemy in WoW Forever?
Herbalism is the most natural partner because it supplies most of the herbs used by Alchemy and also benefits from profession-focused Legacy perks. Buying herbs can still be faster when Auction House prices are low, so Herbalism is not mandatory.

How do you level Alchemy from 1 to 300 in WoW Forever?
Train each Alchemy rank before you hit its cap, then craft the cheapest useful orange or yellow recipes available to you. Do not copy a Classic route that depends on healing potions, because the current Forever beta places that potion line under First Aid. This guide gives a flexible 1-300 route built around current Forever recipe data instead.

Can Alchemy make healing potions in WoW Forever?
Not in the current beta build. The standard healing-potion progression is currently part of First Aid. Alchemy still makes mana potions, elixirs, protection potions, utility consumables, oils, flasks and transmutes. This is beta behavior and should be rechecked at launch.

How does Alchemy make gold?
Alchemy earns through repeat-demand consumables, PvP utility such as Free Action Potion, protection potions, mana potions, raid flasks, rare recipes and high-level transmutes such as Arcanite Bar. Profit depends on your realm, faction and the current herb market, so fixed gold-per-hour claims are not reliable before the live economy exists.

What does Alchemy add to Camping?
The current beta database shows three Alchemy campsite objects: Mana Well at 20 skill, Fermenter at 140, and Alchemy Laboratory at 300. The higher tiers add crafting functionality while retaining the lower-tier mana-restoration benefit.

Last updated: September 21, 2026. The WoW Forever beta is live through October 21 and currently begins with a level-20 cap before later testing expands to level 30. The profession database already exposes many higher-skill recipes, but those upper ranges have not all been validated through normal live character progression. Skill requirements, recipe sources and balance can still change before the November 4 launch.

WoW Forever Alchemy at a Glance

Alchemy is useful because its output is consumed repeatedly. Armor and weapons may be replaced once, but a potion, elixir or flask can create another sale every time players level, enter PvP, prepare for a dungeon or push difficult level-60 content. Blizzard has confirmed that professions are receiving more than 600 new recipes across the game and are directly connected to Camping, so the profession has more reasons to exist outside a capital city.

Alchemy SkillMain GoalUseful Current CraftsPractical Value
1-75Build cheap early skill and unlock the first Camping objectElixir of Minor Defense, Minor Troll's Blood Elixir, Minor Mana PotionLeveling buffs, caster mana, early profession progression
75-150Move into Journeyman recipes and reach the Fermenter thresholdElixir of Wisdom, Lesser Mana Potion, Elixir of Lesser DefenseMid-level questing, mana recovery, steady leveling crafts
150-225Use utility and stronger elixirs instead of the old healing-potion routeFree Action Potion, Fire Protection Potion, Elixir of Greater Defense, Greater Mana PotionPvP utility, dungeon preparation, stronger consumable demand
225-300Reach Artisan, unlock high-level mana potions, transmutes, flasks and the Alchemy LaboratorySuperior Mana Potion, Major Mana Potion, Greater Fire Protection Potion, Flask of Supreme Power, Arcanite BarLevel-60 preparation, raid demand, transmute income, rare-recipe markets

The important change is the route philosophy. You do not need one rigid shopping list to make Alchemy useful. The cheapest recipe can differ by realm, and Forever adds enough profession interactions that a craft with a slightly higher material cost may still be better if you can use or sell the finished product. Treat the skill ranges above as decision points, not a command to mass-produce one item regardless of price.

What Changed for Alchemy in WoW Forever

Forever keeps the recognizable 1-300 profession framework but changes the context around it. Blizzard is adding hundreds of recipes across professions, advanced dungeon Blueprint recipes and profession-specific Camping objects. Current beta data also makes one especially important change for Alchemy: the traditional healing-potion chain is now under First Aid. That single change invalidates many old leveling routes before you even reach the middle skill ranges.

  • Healing potions moved to First Aid in the current beta. Do not stockpile materials for an old Alchemy route until you verify the recipe in your actual Forever profession window.
  • Mana and utility remain core Alchemy products. Mana potions, elixirs, protection consumables, oils and transmutes still give Alchemy a clear identity.
  • Camping gives Alchemy open-world utility. Your profession can contribute a mana-restoration feature, a reagent-focused upgrade and eventually a portable Alchemy workspace.
  • Profession progression feeds Legacy. Current beta data awards first-time account challenges at 150, 225 and 300 Alchemy, giving the first full profession climb value beyond the character itself.
  • More recipes increase market segmentation. You can specialize economically in leveling consumables, PvP utility, raid preparation, transmutes or recipe access instead of competing on one potion.

Blizzard confirms that beta testing is staged and that higher-level content opens later. For that reason, this guide separates current database-confirmed recipe requirements from claims about what will be the cheapest live route. The latter can only be measured once more of the economy and high-level profession game is playable.

How to Learn and Train Alchemy to 300

Alchemy uses four familiar skill caps. Learn the profession from an Alchemy trainer, train each higher rank as soon as you meet its requirements, and return to a trainer when new recipes become available. Forever data confirms the 75, 150, 225 and 300 caps, and Expert Alchemy is currently listed as requiring 125 skill. The upper-rank trainer requirements have not yet been fully validated through normal beta progression because the active test starts with a level-20 cap and later expands to level 30. Use the profession window and trainer list as the final authority as higher-level testing and launch builds arrive.

RankSkill CapWhen to Prepare for the Next RankWhat Changes
Apprentice75Before reaching 75Basic elixirs, early potions and the first Camping unlock at 20
Journeyman150Before reaching 150Broader mana, utility and mid-level elixir options; Fermenter appears at 140
Expert225Current Forever data requires at least 125 Alchemy to move into Expert progressionStronger utility, protection and mid-high consumables
Artisan300Prepare before 225 blocks further gains; verify the live trainer requirement in the current buildHigh-level potions, transmutes, rare recipes, flasks and the Alchemy Laboratory at 300

If you want the profession completed without manually managing every craft and trainer stop, the WoW Forever Alchemy leveling service covers selected skill ranges up to 300. The self-play route below remains complete for players who prefer to level it themselves.

WoW Forever Alchemy Leveling 1-300

The route below is designed for the Forever beta rather than copied from Classic. It deliberately avoids healing potions and does not promise exact material quantities, because yellow and green recipes can require different numbers of crafts and launch-market prices will determine which branch is cheapest. The correct method is to craft orange recipes when they are reasonably priced, use yellow recipes when their materials are much cheaper, and stop feeding materials into green recipes unless there is a strong sale or personal-use reason.

Alchemy 1-75: Cheap Elixirs, Mana Potions and Mana Well

Start with trainer recipes that use low-tier herbs. Elixir of Minor Defense is a clean opening craft because it uses early materials, while Minor Troll's Blood Elixir opens another early path. At 25 skill, Minor Mana Potion becomes a useful progression option and produces something mana users can actually carry rather than pure vendor trash.

  1. 1-15: use your cheapest orange starting elixir. If Silverleaf is cheap, Elixir of Minor Defense is an efficient foundation.
  2. 15-25: compare your starter craft with Minor Troll's Blood Elixir. Do not switch simply because a guide gives one universal recipe; compare herb cost first.
  3. 25-50: add Minor Mana Potion to the comparison. It uses Mageroyal and Silverleaf plus a vial, so its value depends heavily on early herb prices.
  4. 50-75: Elixir of Minor Fortitude is another current option. Keep using the recipe that gives reliable skill for the lowest net cost after accounting for resale.

At 20 Alchemy, the current beta recipe data unlocks Mana Well. Crafting one is useful for learning the Camping system, but do not mass-produce campsite objects purely for skill unless their recipe remains cost-efficient. Your goal in this bracket is to reach 75 without consuming a large stock of herbs that will become more valuable after the first beta or launch economy expands.

Alchemy 75-150: Wisdom, Lesser Mana and Fermenter

The second bracket introduces recipes with wider practical use. Elixir of Wisdom enters at 90 Alchemy in current data, while Lesser Mana Potion enters at 120. The latter uses Mageroyal and Stranglekelp, so it can be attractive when shoreline herb supply is healthy.

  1. 75-90: finish remaining efficient early recipes rather than forcing an expensive jump.
  2. 90-120: use Elixir of Wisdom when Briarthorn and Mageroyal are affordable. Casters and leveling alts give the finished item some practical value.
  3. 120-130: Lesser Mana Potion is a strong bridge if its ingredients are cheaper than comparable yellow recipes.
  4. 130-150: Elixir of Lesser Defense and other current trainer recipes give you alternatives. Choose according to recipe color and material cost.

At 140 Alchemy, current beta data lists the Fermenter. It can create certain reagents at a camp and retains the Mana Well benefit. This is the first point where Alchemy starts behaving like more than a bag of consumables: your profession can contribute a reusable group function during outdoor play.

Alchemy 150-225: Utility Replaces the Old Healing-Potion Route

This is the bracket where old Classic guides become most misleading. Classic routes commonly lean on Greater Healing Potion and Superior Healing Potion. In the current Forever beta, healing potions belong to First Aid, so build your route around utility, protection, elixirs and mana instead.

  1. 150 onward: the vendor recipe for Free Action Potion requires 150 Alchemy. It is a useful PvP product, but its profitability depends on the price of Blackmouth Oil and Stranglekelp.
  2. 165 onward: Fire Protection Potion provides another utility branch. The recipe itself requires 165 Alchemy in the current Forever database.
  3. Around 195: Elixir of Greater Defense becomes a practical trainer-based bridge when its herb inputs are reasonable.
  4. 205 onward: Greater Mana Potion uses Khadgar's Whisker and Goldthorn. Mana demand gives this craft a better chance of being useful after you finish skilling than a random low-demand recipe.

Do not use a rare or expensive recipe just because it is orange. A cheaper yellow craft can win if the material difference is large enough. The right calculation is net leveling cost: ingredient cost minus the realistic value of what you can use or sell. This becomes increasingly important once mid-level herbs begin competing with PvP and dungeon consumable demand.

Alchemy 225-300: Mana, Transmutes, Protection and Flasks

The final range is where Alchemy develops its long-term economy. At this point you should stop thinking only about reaching 300 and start building a recipe book that can produce useful level-60 goods. Superior Mana Potion requires 260 Alchemy through its current recipe, Arcanite Bar becomes available through a 275 Alchemy transmute recipe, Greater Fire Protection Potion requires 290, and Major Mana Potion requires 295.

  1. 225-260: use affordable high-level elixirs, oils and trainer recipes while saving rare herbs for recipes with better resale. Stonescale Oil is one example of an Alchemy reagent that can have cross-recipe demand.
  2. 260-275: Superior Mana Potion is a clear route option when Sungrass and Blindweed are not overpriced.
  3. 275-290: unlock the Arcanite transmute and continue skilling with recipes whose finished value justifies their inputs. A transmute cooldown is an economic tool, not a fast way to gain many skill points.
  4. 290-295: Greater Fire Protection Potion can be valuable when fire protection is relevant, but do not consume expensive materials only for five skill points if another recipe is cheaper.
  5. 295-300: Major Mana Potion gives a high-end mana option using Dreamfoil and Icecap. At 300, begin collecting flask and rare endgame recipes rather than treating maximum skill as the end of the profession.

If you want to perform the crafts yourself but avoid gathering or buying every reagent stack individually, the WoW Forever Profession Kit page includes Alchemy material packages for self-play profession progression. Recipe access, trainer requirements and rare unlocks still need to be handled separately.

How to Prepare Materials Without Wasting Gold

The worst way to level Alchemy is to buy a complete old shopping list before checking the current Forever recipe book. Beta changes, realm prices and recipe colors can make that list obsolete. Build materials in tiers instead. Keep a working stock for the next 25 to 50 skill points, then reevaluate before buying the next group of herbs.

  • Keep vials stocked. Early recipes use Empty Vial, while later recipes move into higher vial tiers. Vendor reagents are a poor reason to interrupt a crafting session.
  • Do not convert every herb immediately. Raw herbs can be worth more than the potion they create, especially during a launch profession rush.
  • Protect high-level herbs. Dreamfoil, Icecap, Mountain Silversage and Black Lotus feed powerful endgame crafts. Burning them on a poor skill-up can cost far more than using a cheaper alternative.
  • Keep utility ingredients separate. PvP recipes, protection potions and transmutes often need materials outside the standard herb ladder. Do not accidentally consume them in a low-value craft if you plan to sell the finished utility item.
  • Use the Auction House as a comparison tool. Check both raw material price and finished-item price. A craft can effectively level your profession for free or at a profit if demand is strong enough.

Herbalism makes this process easier because it turns leveling travel into material acquisition. It does not make every self-gathered herb free, however. A herb still has an opportunity cost: if selling it produces more gold than crafting it saves, selling the herb and buying a cheaper Alchemy material can be the better economic choice.

Best Alchemy Recipes to Keep Using After Leveling

A full Alchemy guide should distinguish a leveling recipe from a business recipe. Some crafts are efficient only because they are orange at a particular skill. Others remain relevant because players repeatedly consume them or because another profession requires the output. The table below focuses on current Forever items with a clear practical use rather than claiming that every listed recipe will be equally profitable on every realm.

Recipe or ProductCurrent RequirementMain UseEconomic Role
Free Action PotionRecipe requires 150 AlchemyTemporary immunity to stun and movement-impairing effects; does not remove effects already presentPvP and situational utility demand
Fire Protection PotionRecipe requires 165 AlchemyAbsorbs a limited amount of fire damageEncounter-specific demand and preparation sales
Superior Mana PotionRecipe requires 260 AlchemyRestores mana for high-level casters and healersRepeat consumable demand
Arcanite BarTransmute recipe requires 275 AlchemyHigh-level crafting reagent made from a Thorium Bar and Arcane CrystalCooldown-limited material and transmute-fee market
Greater Fire Protection PotionRecipe requires 290 AlchemyStronger fire-damage absorptionHigh-level encounter preparation when fire damage matters
Major Mana PotionRecipe requires 295 AlchemyHigh-end mana restorationRepeat level-60 caster and healer demand
Flask of Supreme PowerRecipe requires 300 AlchemyLong-duration spell-damage flask that persists through deathExpensive raid-preparation market with rare-material exposure

The strongest item on this list is not automatically the most profitable. A flask may sell for far more gold than a mid-level potion but can also consume expensive herbs and a Black Lotus. A lower-margin potion that sells quickly can produce better weekly income than a premium craft that sits on the Auction House. Track turnover as well as margin.

How to Use Alchemy While Leveling

Alchemy has value before level 60 because it converts materials into advantages you can carry through normal questing. Casters can keep mana consumables for difficult pulls and dungeons, melee characters can use defensive or stat elixirs, and every class can benefit from situational utility. The practical goal is not to remain permanently buffed with every craft you make. Use consumables where they save time, prevent a death or let you complete a difficult objective without waiting for another player.

  • Mana users: keep an appropriate mana potion tier in your bags for dungeons, elite quests and long fights rather than drinking one on every ordinary pull.
  • Melee and tanks: armor, strength and other relevant elixirs can reduce friction during harder quest chains, but compare the value against simply selling the craft.
  • PvP players: utility such as Free Action Potion can be more important than raw stat gains because the effect changes what you can do during a control-heavy fight.
  • Dungeon groups: protection potions become valuable when the damage type matches the encounter. Carrying the wrong protection potion is just locked inventory value.
  • Alts: low- and mid-level consumables that are difficult to sell can be transferred to characters that can actually use them instead of being vendored immediately.

The profession works best when crafting, use and sale are connected. If a potion is useful to your class, keep a small reserve and sell the excess. If it is useless to your character but sells well, treat it as inventory. If it does neither, it should only remain in your leveling route while its skill-up efficiency justifies the materials.

How to Make Gold with Alchemy in WoW Forever

Alchemy gold comes from demand timing and recipe access more than from blindly converting every herb you own. The live Forever economy does not exist yet, so no responsible guide can promise a fixed gold-per-hour number. Instead, build several income channels and switch between them as your realm develops.

  1. Sell repeat-demand mana consumables. Mana potions are destroyed on use, creating recurring demand from mana classes. Compare the finished potion price against its herbs before crafting large batches.
  2. Target PvP utility. Free Action Potion and similar utility products can see demand when battleground participation rises. Do not assume the same volume every day of the week.
  3. Watch protection-potion demand. Fire and other protection consumables can surge when players prepare for specific bosses or content. Stocking before demand appears is useful only if the encounter actually rewards that preparation.
  4. Sell rare-recipe access. A recipe that few competing Alchemists know can create a better margin than a trainer recipe available to everyone. Calculate the recipe acquisition cost before treating it as profit.
  5. Use transmute cooldowns consistently. Current Forever data shows Transmute: Arcanite with a two-day cooldown and a 275 Alchemy recipe. The transmute turns a Thorium Bar plus an Arcane Crystal into an Arcanite Bar. You can sell the bar or charge for the cooldown, depending on which produces the better return.
  6. Sell raid preparation, not just single items. Once level-60 content creates stable demand, stacks of mana consumables, protection potions and flasks can be easier for buyers than assembling everything one item at a time.

Margin is the number that matters. If herbs cost 10 gold and the finished consumable sells for 9 after fees, crafting more does not become profitable because you gathered the herbs yourself. Conversely, an inexpensive trainer recipe can be a strong business when many players want the output and the raw material market is deep.

Players who want capital for herbs, recipes or other profession expenses can compare the self-farming route with the WoW Forever Gold page. Before the November 4 launch, the page is explicitly a beta or pre-order offering; its availability should not be used as evidence for live Auction House prices.

Alchemy and Herbalism: Best Pairing and Farming Logic

Herbalism is the default pairing because Alchemy consumes large volumes of herbs from multiple level ranges. It reduces dependence on the Auction House and lets you gather while questing. Forever strengthens the pairing through the Legacy profession tree: current beta data includes Bountiful Harvest for Mining, Herbalism and Skinning, which can improve scarce-material output, while Alchemy benefits from the extra herbal supply indirectly.

The best self-sufficient workflow is simple: gather during normal travel, bank herbs that belong to your next Alchemy tier, sell unusually expensive surplus and buy whichever missing herb is cheaper than farming it. Do not spend an hour crossing the world for a low-value stack merely because your character has Herbalism. Opportunity cost still applies.

Herbalism is not always the best second profession for a dedicated economic alt. A player with another Herbalist on the account can pair Alchemy with a different profession and funnel herbs through the bank. For a first character, however, Herbalism plus Alchemy is the easiest combination to understand and the least exposed to launch-week material prices.

Alchemy Camping: Mana Well, Fermenter and Alchemy Laboratory

Camping is the main Forever-specific system that changes how Alchemy feels in the open world. Blizzard's official Forever Deep Dive confirms that profession objects can be added around a Basic Campfire, with up to three special objects around the basic version and one contribution per player. Alchemy currently has a clear three-step Camping progression. The separate WoW Forever Camping guide covers general placement, capacity and shared cooldown rules.

  • Mana Well - 20 Alchemy: restores mana to eligible players sitting nearby, is exclusive with the equivalent Blessing of Wisdom effect, requires a Campfire, and shares the one-hour Camping-feature cooldown.
  • Fermenter - 140 Alchemy: allows creation of certain reagents and also provides the Mana Well benefit. Current data allows it to replace a Mana Well already placed at the camp.
  • Alchemy Laboratory - 300 Alchemy: provides an Alchemy workspace for recipes that require one and retains the Mana Well benefit. This is especially important because traditional high-end Alchemy includes recipes that require a lab.

Use these objects at natural breaks in play: before a long dungeon approach, before a difficult outdoor chain or when a group is already organizing around a camp. Do not burn the shared profession-feature cooldown just because a fire exists. Check what the group already has and contribute the object that solves an actual need.

Alchemy and the Legacy System

Alchemy is also part of Forever account progression. Current beta data awards a Legacy Point the first time the account reaches 150, 225 and 300 Alchemy. That means taking one Alchemist to maximum skill can contribute to a wider account plan even if later characters choose different professions.

The profession tree also contains perks that change how you approach future profession leveling. Current beta data for Working Overtime improves the chance to gain profession skill, while Bountiful Harvest improves scarce materials gathered through Herbalism, Mining and Skinning. The WoW Forever Legacy System guide tracks the current point caps, tree structure and beta values.

Do not build a launch plan as though every Legacy perk is already active. Your first Alchemist has to earn account progress before later characters can benefit from it. For an alt, however, Legacy can change the economics of the same 1-300 route by reducing failed skill-up attempts or increasing the supply of gathered materials available across the account.

Who Should Use Alchemy

Alchemy is one of the least class-locked crafting professions because consumables can support almost every role. The difference is not whether a class can use Alchemy, but which part of the profession it values most.

  • Healers and mana DPS: get direct personal value from mana potions, caster elixirs and raid flasks.
  • Tanks: benefit from defensive elixirs and encounter-specific protection consumables.
  • Melee DPS: can use stat, utility and PvP consumables while selling caster products they do not need.
  • PvP-focused characters: gain access to utility markets where timing and control immunity can matter more than a raw stat increase.
  • Economic alts: can use cooldown-limited transmutes and rare recipes without needing Alchemy to match the character's combat role.

If you want one profession that continuously turns gathered materials into consumables for yourself, your group and the Auction House, Alchemy fits that job. If your main goal is permanent equipment for your own armor type, a gear-crafting profession may provide more direct character-specific value.

Alchemy Mistakes to Avoid

The most expensive profession mistakes come from treating an old guide as a fixed script. Forever has already changed recipe ownership and added new profession systems, so the right route has to react to the current client and economy.

  • Do not buy a Classic healing-potion shopping list. Healing potions are currently under First Aid in the Forever beta.
  • Do not craft green recipes just to finish a stack. Stop when the skill-up chance no longer justifies the reagents unless the item itself is profitable.
  • Do not vendor useful mana or utility consumables automatically. Check your own future use, alts and the Auction House first.
  • Do not consume Black Lotus or other premium materials for meaningless skill. Reserve rare reagents for recipes with clear endgame value whenever possible.
  • Do not ignore recipe source costs. A profitable-looking craft can be a poor investment if acquiring the recipe requires a large payment or long farm with little future demand.
  • Do not let transmute cooldowns sit unused after you enter that market. A cooldown only creates value when you remember to use or sell it.
  • Do not assume beta data is launch-final. Recheck trainers, recipe ownership, skill thresholds and Camping tooltips after major beta updates and again on November 4.

The efficient Alchemist keeps options open. Carry enough ingredients to continue skilling, preserve expensive herbs, learn recipes with a clear use case and switch production when demand changes. That approach is more robust than memorizing a 300-line shopping list that can become wrong after one beta update.

WoW Forever Alchemy FAQ

These answers cover the main current questions around Alchemy leveling, the First Aid change, gold making, Herbalism, transmutes and Camping.

What is the maximum Alchemy skill in WoW Forever?
300. Current Forever data retains four profession caps at 75, 150, 225 and 300.

What is the fastest way to level WoW Forever Alchemy?
Use the cheapest orange or yellow recipes available at your current skill, train the next profession rank before hitting the cap, and switch recipes when the current craft becomes inefficient. Do not use an old healing-potion route without checking the Forever client.

Are healing potions still made by Alchemy?
In the current beta build, no. The standard healing-potion progression is under First Aid. Because Forever is still in beta, confirm this again after major test updates and at launch.

What should I pair with Alchemy?
Herbalism is the simplest pairing because it supplies most of your core materials and interacts well with the Legacy gathering tree. An account with a separate Herbalist can use another second profession instead.

When do Alchemy Camping items unlock?
Current beta data lists Mana Well at 20 Alchemy, Fermenter at 140 and Alchemy Laboratory at 300.

How do Alchemists make gold at level 60?
Focus on repeat-demand consumables, PvP utility, encounter-specific protection potions, rare recipes, flasks and cooldown-limited transmutes. Always compare reagent cost with the actual sale price on your realm.

How does Transmute: Arcanite work in Forever?
The current Forever database lists the recipe at 275 Alchemy. It converts one Thorium Bar and one Arcane Crystal into an Arcanite Bar and currently shows a two-day cooldown, making the cooldown itself a tradeable economic resource.

Does reaching 300 Alchemy help Legacy progression?
Yes in current beta data. First-time milestones at 150, 225 and 300 Alchemy each award a Legacy Point, and a 300-skill Alchemist can also interact with the current profession certification and title system.

Conclusion

WoW Forever Alchemy is best approached as a flexible 1-300 profession rather than a copied Classic shopping list. Level through cheap useful elixirs and mana potions, move into utility and protection recipes through the middle ranges, preserve expensive high-level herbs, and reach 300 with a recipe book that can actually support level-60 play. The biggest beta-era correction is simple: healing potions currently belong to First Aid, so build the route around what Alchemy really crafts in Forever.

After reaching 300, the profession shifts from leveling to supply management. Keep mana and utility consumables moving, learn rare recipes that give you a reason to be chosen over another Alchemist, use valuable transmute cooldowns, and deploy the Alchemy Laboratory when your group needs a profession workspace at camp. Pairing Alchemy with Herbalism gives the cleanest self-sufficient path, while the Auction House lets a dedicated crafter skip farming whenever buying materials is the better use of time.
