WoW Forever Trial of the Sea Lion and Aquatic Form Guide

WoW Forever Trial of the Sea Lion and Aquatic Form Guide

Trial of the Sea Lion in WoW Forever is a level-16 Druid class quest required to unlock Aquatic Form. To complete it, collect the Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility and Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance, combine them at the Shrine of Remulos in Moonglade, and return to your faction's Druid trainer after completing the remaining quest steps. Alliance Druids search the waters of Darkshore and Westfall, while Horde Druids travel to The Barrens and Silverpine Forest. Aquatic Form increases swimming speed by 50% and allows unlimited underwater breathing. Current WoW Forever beta quest records also list Idol of Shifting Tides, a new relic that reduces shapeshifting mana costs, among the final rewards. This guide covers the complete quest chain, pendant coordinates, underwater routes, faction differences, and relevant Forever beta changes.

Short answer: Start A Lesson to Learn at level 16 from Mathrengyl Bearwalker in Darnassus (Alliance) or Turak Runetotem in Thunder Bluff (Horde). Complete Trial of the Lake, then accept Trial of the Sea Lion from Tajarri in Moonglade. Alliance pendant locations are Darkshore 48.9, 11.3 and Westfall 17.9, 33.1. Horde locations are The Barrens 56.7, 8.3 and offshore Silverpine Forest around 29.6, 29.4. Combine both halves at the Shrine of Remulos around 36.5, 40.1, deliver the pendant to Dendrite Starblaze, and finish Aquatic Form with your original faction trainer.

What Is Trial of the Sea Lion in WoW Forever?

Trial of the Sea Lion is the third quest in the traditional four-part Druid Aquatic Form chain. It requires players to find two underwater quest items and assemble a special pendant before learning the sea lion transformation.

The quest becomes available at level 16 after completing the preceding Druid trials in Moonglade. Its main objective is to create the Pendant of the Sea Lion, which is required to unlock the final Aquatic Form quest.

The full progression consists of four quests:

  1. A Lesson to Learn: Visit Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade after receiving instructions from your faction's Druid trainer.
  2. Trial of the Lake: Retrieve a Shrine Bauble from Lake Elune'ara and activate it at the Shrine of Remulos.
  3. Trial of the Sea Lion: Find two pendant halves in faction-specific locations and combine them near the shrine.
  4. Aquatic Form: Return to your faction's trainer with the completed pendant to learn the transformation.

The pendant collection is the longest part of the chain because it requires traveling between distant zones. The Alliance and Horde versions share the same objectives but use different underwater locations and quest IDs: 272 for Alliance and 30 for Horde.

WoW Forever retains this quest-based progression in its currently indexed beta records. The Aquatic Form spell preserves its established swimming and breathing benefits, while the updated final quest records include a new Druid relic. As Forever remains in beta, quest rewards and some race-specific interactions may still change.

For broader class progression, talent builds, and shapeshifting mechanics, see the WoW Forever Druid Guide. This walkthrough focuses on unlocking Aquatic Form rather than comparing Druid specializations.

Trial of the Sea Lion Level Requirements and Quest NPCs

The Aquatic Form chain requires level 16 and the Druid class. Its traditional faction versions are associated with Night Elves and Tauren, while Forever introduces High Order Skyborne Druids for Alliance and Windshaper Skyborne Druids for Horde.

Current quest records confirm the original faction trainers and Moonglade objectives. Some Alliance records explicitly include High Order Skyborne eligibility, but complete quest access and interactions for both new Skyborne variants have not been independently verified through the entire beta chain. Newly created Skyborne Druids should check their faction's available class quests.

These are documented quest NPC locations, with minor coordinate variations between references. Map addons and beta builds may display slightly different positions, particularly for NPCs inside buildings.

How to Start A Lesson to Learn

Alliance Druids begin A Lesson to Learn with Mathrengyl Bearwalker in the Cenarion Enclave of Darnassus. Horde Druids receive their traditional faction version from Turak Runetotem on Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff.

Both versions instruct the character to visit Dendrite Starblaze in Nighthaven, Moonglade.

Use Teleport: Moonglade to reach the zone without traveling through dangerous higher-level areas. The ability is available through earlier Druid progression and remains useful throughout the class quest chain.

Once in Moonglade, head toward Nighthaven and find Dendrite Starblaze inside the building around 56.2, 30.7. Speak with him to complete the introductory assignment and accept Trial of the Lake.

Do not travel directly to the distant pendant locations before checking your quest progress. Collecting the halves is part of Trial of the Sea Lion, which follows the initial lake challenge.

Complete Trial of the Lake First

Trial of the Lake sends you into Lake Elune'ara to retrieve a Shrine Bauble. This is the first practical underwater challenge in the Aquatic Form sequence.

  1. Accept the quest: Speak with Dendrite Starblaze in Nighthaven.
  2. Enter Lake Elune'ara: Search the lakebed for a Bauble Container, a small urn-like object.
  3. Find the bauble: The container has multiple documented spawn locations across the lake. Search the deeper lakebed, especially around underwater fissures, rather than relying on a single coordinate.
  4. Return to the shrine: After obtaining the bauble, travel immediately to the Shrine of Remulos in northwestern Moonglade.
  5. Activate it: Stand inside the shrine boundaries and use the Shrine Bauble from your inventory.
  6. Speak with Tajarri: Complete Trial of the Lake and accept Trial of the Sea Lion.

Time limits are important here. The traditional Trial of the Lake has a 30-minute quest timer, but the Shrine Bauble itself lasts only five minutes after collection. Locate the shrine before retrieving the bauble and use it promptly. These limits are documented in Classic references; check the active timers in your Forever beta client.

Air fissures in the lake can replenish your breath while searching. The container may be difficult to identify from the surface, so examine the lakebed instead of remaining at the waterline.

Trial of the Lake and Trial of the Sea Lion use the same Shrine of Remulos, but they require different objects. The Shrine Bauble completes the first trial; the two pendant halves are needed for the second.

Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility and Endurance Locations

Trial of the Sea Lion requires two quest items: Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility and Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance. Each is obtained from an underwater Strange Lockbox.

The locations differ by faction. Both factions then return to the same shrine in Moonglade to combine the items.

Trial of the Sea Lion pendant coordinates for both factions

AllianceAquatic EnduranceWestfall17.9, 33.1
HordeAquatic AgilityThe Barrens56.7, 8.3

These coordinates are documented in Classic quest guides and comments available on the Forever quest pages. A Forever beta player has also confirmed the Barrens location. However, older comments are not proof that every lockbox has been retested in the latest beta build. Use the surrounding landmarks if the coordinates do not place you directly above the container.

At the deeper locations, look for bubbling fissures. These replenish your breath while opening the lockbox and are especially useful before Aquatic Form becomes available.

Alliance Trial of the Sea Lion Walkthrough

Alliance Druids need the Darkshore and Westfall pendant halves. Both locations are in Alliance-accessible regions, but the Westfall objective requires a long underwater swim far from the coast.

It is practical to collect the Darkshore half while still on Kalimdor, then travel to the Eastern Kingdoms for Westfall. Players concerned about the possible Aquatic Miasma curse from a lockbox can reverse the order and collect the deeper Westfall half first.

Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility in Darkshore

Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility, item ID 15883, is found offshore in northern Darkshore at approximately 48.9, 11.3.

The location is near a distinctive rock formation that resembles a V-shaped opening or a pair of claws. The Strange Lockbox lies underwater between the rocks.

  1. Travel to Darkshore: Begin from Auberdine or another available flight point.
  2. Follow the northern coastline: Head toward the coastal region beyond the Ruins of Mathystra.
  3. Reach approximately 48.9, 11.3: Swim away from the shore toward the V-shaped rock formation.
  4. Check for hostile creatures: Threshers patrol the surrounding water, so wait for a safe opening or defeat an enemy blocking the route.
  5. Dive between the rocks: Look for a Strange Lockbox near the seabed.
  6. Open the container: Loot the Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility and verify that it appears in your inventory.

The box is not a special enemy drop. You need to interact with the underwater container rather than kill a specific thresher to obtain the pendant.

Because nearby threshers can be dangerous at level 16, avoid pulling several enemies into deep water. If necessary, recover health on land before attempting the dive again.

Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance in Westfall

Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance, item ID 15882, is located in the Great Sea west of Westfall at approximately 17.9, 33.1.

This is the more demanding Alliance dive because the container is far offshore and deep underwater. A bubbling fissure near the lockbox makes the objective manageable without already having Aquatic Form.

  1. Reach Westfall: Travel through Stormwind and Elwynn Forest or use your available Eastern Kingdoms travel route.
  2. Approach the western coast: Head toward the coastal area associated with the Gold Coast Quarry.
  3. Find the offshore landmark: Look for the shipwreck and underwater anchor around 20, 33.
  4. Swim farther west: Continue toward approximately 17.9, 33.1, watching the transition into deeper water.
  5. Dive along the underwater drop-off: Search below the shallow shelf for bubbles rising from a fissure.
  6. Recover your breath: Position yourself over the fissure before opening the nearby Strange Lockbox.
  7. Collect Aquatic Endurance: Confirm the second pendant half is in your bags and begin the return journey.

Do not continue swimming west indefinitely. The lockbox is close to the deep-water boundary, and entering fatigue water is unnecessary.

The underwater anchor is a navigation landmark rather than the required interaction. If you reach it but cannot see the box, search slightly farther west and below the shelf near the bubbling water.

Once both pendant halves are collected, use Teleport: Moonglade to return to the shrine without retracing the full route.

Horde Trial of the Sea Lion Walkthrough

Horde Druids collect their pendants in The Barrens and off the coast of Silverpine Forest. The Barrens half is relatively close to established Horde leveling routes, while the Silverpine objective requires a journey to the Eastern Kingdoms.

The recommended route begins with the Barrens objective, followed by Silverpine Forest. However, completing Silverpine first is also valid because the quest does not establish a required order for collecting the two halves.

Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility in The Barrens

The Horde Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility is located underwater in the Sludge Fen, northern Barrens, at approximately 56.7, 8.3.

The Sludge Fen is a Venture Company operation containing machinery, workers, and a polluted body of water. The lockbox is underwater near a wooden barrier.

  1. Travel to The Barrens: Head into the northern part of the zone from The Crossroads or a nearby Horde route.
  2. Find the Sludge Fen: Look for the Venture Company machinery and the polluted pond.
  3. Reach 56.7, 8.3: Enter the water near the wooden structures.
  4. Search the submerged barrier: The Strange Lockbox is near the underwater wooden wall, around its eastern side.
  5. Open the container: Collect the Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility.
  6. Confirm the item: Check your bags before leaving the area.

The pond is considerably smaller than the deep-water locations in Westfall and Silverpine, making the search comparatively straightforward.

A Forever beta player reported finding the pendant at 56.7, 8.3, providing a more recent confirmation of the traditional quest coordinates.

You do not need to clear every Venture Company enemy in the Sludge Fen. Defeat only those preventing safe access to the water and lockbox.

Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance in Silverpine Forest

The Horde Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance is located far offshore from the northwestern Silverpine Forest coastline, around 29.6, 29.4 on the map coordinates used in established quest guides.

The main landmark is a wrecked ship near North Tide's Run, northwest of The Sepulcher. From that wreck, players swim west toward the deeper water and search for a bubbling fissure beside the lockbox.

  1. Travel to the Eastern Kingdoms: Use an available Horde zeppelin or other established transport connection.
  2. Reach Silverpine Forest: Travel from the Undercity region toward The Sepulcher.
  3. Head northwest: Find the coastal area around North Tide's Run and its shipwreck.
  4. Swim west from the wreck: Head toward the deep-water drop-off rather than remaining beside the shoreline.
  5. Search near 29.6, 29.4: Dive below the surface and look for a bubbling fissure close to a Strange Lockbox.
  6. Use the air bubbles: Refill your breath before interacting with the container.
  7. Loot the pendant: Collect Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance and return to Moonglade.

Some quest addons show the Silverpine location differently when the map switches between the coastal zone and the Great Sea. Older player reports also mention coordinates around 39, 33 on another map reference. Treat those coordinates as approximate navigation clues, not as evidence of a second required Endurance pendant.

The surrounding water may contain hostile aquatic creatures, including Reef Frenzies. Avoid fighting while running low on breath, and use the fissure before attempting a difficult interaction.

If the fatigue bar appears, change direction toward the coast. The goal is the submerged shelf and nearby lockbox, not the open ocean beyond it.

How to Combine the Pendant of the Sea Lion

After obtaining both halves, return to the Shrine of Remulos in northwestern Moonglade. The assembled Pendant of the Sea Lion, item ID 15885, is the required objective for Trial of the Sea Lion.

The combination must be performed near the shrine. Having both halves in your bags is not sufficient to complete the quest automatically.

  1. Return to Moonglade: Cast Teleport: Moonglade after collecting the second pendant half.
  2. Travel to the Shrine of Remulos: Head northwest from Nighthaven toward approximately 36, 41.
  3. Enter the shrine boundaries: Stand near Keeper Remulos and the central shrine structure.
  4. Open your inventory: Confirm that both the Agility and Endurance halves are present.
  5. Activate the Agility half: Right-click Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility to combine it with the Endurance half.
  6. Check the result: The two pieces become Pendant of the Sea Lion.
  7. Return to Dendrite Starblaze: Travel back to Nighthaven around 56.2, 30.7 and complete Trial of the Sea Lion.

If the halves will not combine, move farther into the shrine area before using the item again. The proximity requirement is part of the quest itself.

Do not confuse Dendrite Starblaze with Tajarri. Tajarri starts Trial of the Sea Lion at the shrine, while Dendrite receives the completed pendant in Nighthaven.

Once the quest is finished, Dendrite offers the final Aquatic Form assignment, which directs you back to your faction's original trainer.

How to Unlock Aquatic Form After Trial of the Sea Lion

Completing Trial of the Sea Lion does not finish the entire class chain. You must also complete the final quest named Aquatic Form.

At this stage, Dendrite Starblaze provides the completed Pendant of the Sea Lion as the proof required by your original faction trainer.

Alliance Return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker

Alliance characters return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker in Darnassus, Cenarion Enclave, approximately 35.2, 8.0.

The Alliance final quest is identified as quest ID 5061. Deliver the pendant and finish the quest to learn Aquatic Form.

Current Forever quest records list Aquarius Belt and Idol of Shifting Tides as rewards, in addition to the Aquatic Form ability.

Horde Return to Turak Runetotem

Horde characters return to Turak Runetotem in Thunder Bluff, Elder Rise, around 76.4, 27.7.

The Horde final quest uses quest ID 31. Speak with Turak while carrying the pendant supplied by Dendrite Starblaze and complete the assignment.

The current Forever reward record likewise includes Aquatic Form, Aquarius Belt, and Idol of Shifting Tides.

After completing the relevant final quest, open your Druid spellbook and locate Aquatic Form. Place it on your action bar for convenient use whenever you enter water.

Aquatic Form Benefits and How It Works

Aquatic Form, spell ID 1066, transforms the Druid into a sea lion adapted for underwater movement.

Current Forever spell data confirms the following mechanics:

  • Unlock level: 16.
  • Swimming speed: Increased by 50% while in Aquatic Form.
  • Underwater breathing: Allows the Druid to remain underwater without the normal breath limitation.
  • Activation: Instant shapeshift.
  • Mana cost: 20% of base mana before applicable cost reductions.
  • Polymorph protection: The form protects against Polymorph effects.
  • Shapeshifting: Changing form removes applicable Polymorph and movement-impairing effects.

Aquatic Form is intended for swimming rather than ordinary land travel. Its speed increase applies in water, and the character must leave the form or change forms when performing activities that require another Druid form.

Why Aquatic Form Is Useful While Leveling

The greatest advantage is removing the usual interruption caused by underwater breathing limits. Quest objectives that require retrieving objects from a lakebed or fighting underwater become easier to complete.

The 50% swimming-speed bonus improves travel across rivers, lakes, and coastal routes. It can reduce the time spent moving between underwater quest locations, particularly before faster travel options become available.

Aquatic Form does not replace Travel Form. In the traditional Classic progression retained in Forever's current data, Travel Form becomes available at level 30 and increases outdoor movement speed on land by 40%, while Aquatic Form remains the dedicated swimming option.

Using the correct form for the environment improves mobility without requiring consumable Swim Speed Potions or water-breathing effects for ordinary underwater travel.

What Changed for Aquatic Form in WoW Forever?

The core Aquatic Form spell retains its Classic mechanics in the currently indexed Forever beta data. Its swimming-speed bonus, underwater breathing, level requirement, and base mana cost match the established Classic values.

The relevant Forever differences concern the broader Druid class design, new playable races, and updated rewards from the final quest.

Idol of Shifting Tides Is a New Quest Reward

Idol of Shifting Tides, item ID 263411, is a new Druid relic introduced in WoW Forever.

The item is bind on pickup, has item level 16, and provides the following equipped effect:

Reduces the mana cost of shapeshifting spells by 40.

This is a flat reduction of 40 mana, not a 40% reduction. The effect can make repeated shapeshifting less expensive, which is useful for Druids switching between movement, combat, and healing forms.

Both currently indexed Forever Aquatic Form quest records list the idol alongside Aquarius Belt. Player reports following the October 1 beta update also indicate that the idol was removed from the earlier Meddlesome Mages reward source and added to the Aquatic Form quest chain.

That matters for players following older class guides. The earlier quest may no longer provide the item, and characters who completed Aquatic Form before the reward change may not automatically receive it.

No guaranteed retroactive recovery procedure has been confirmed. Players affected by the earlier reward configuration should verify their current client and report the discrepancy if necessary.

Forever Shapeshifting and New Druid Races

WoW Forever introduces broader Druid gameplay changes, including adjustments to shapeshifting interactions and the use of certain items or abilities while transformed. The exact permissions depend on the action and form, so players should not assume every consumable or interaction works in Aquatic Form.

Forever also introduces High Order Skyborne for Alliance and Windshaper Skyborne for Horde, both with access to the Druid class. The new race receives distinctive Druid appearances, while Aquatic Form's underlying swimming and breathing mechanics remain class-wide.

The traditional Night Elf and Tauren aquatic quest records remain indexed, and some Alliance quest entries explicitly show High Order Skyborne eligibility. However, equivalent access for every stage of the Windshaper Skyborne quest chain has not been fully verified in the available beta references.

For that reason, the pendant routes above describe the documented Alliance and Horde quest versions rather than suggesting an unverified Skyborne-exclusive collection route.

For a complete overview of current Feral, Balance, and Restoration gameplay, see the WoW Forever Druid Guide.

Tips for Completing Trial of the Sea Lion Faster

The quest requires no special profession or additional crafted materials. Most of the difficulty comes from traveling between continents, locating underwater boxes, and managing breath before Aquatic Form is unlocked.

Use Teleport: Moonglade Between Objectives

Teleport: Moonglade is especially valuable because both pendant collection routes end with a return to the same zone.

After collecting the final half, teleport directly to Moonglade, combine the pieces at the shrine, and return to Dendrite Starblaze.

Players can also use the spell while already in Moonglade to shorten the journey back toward Nighthaven after the shrine interaction.

Use Air Fissures Instead of Risking Drowning

The Westfall and Silverpine lockboxes are located near bubbling fissures that replenish the character's breath supply.

When approaching a deep-water objective, identify the air source before attempting to open the container. If your breath is nearly depleted, recover first and then collect the item.

A Water Breathing effect can make the journey more comfortable, but the documented quest objectives are designed to be possible without already possessing Aquatic Form.

Watch for Aquatic Miasma

Older quest reports describe an Aquatic Miasma curse that can be applied when opening a pendant lockbox. Its documented effect reduces swimming speed by 50% for one hour.

The spell is documented in Warcraft data, but its application rate in the current Forever beta has not been reliably established. Do not assume every lockbox will apply the curse.

If it occurs, avoid a difficult deep-water dive until you have accounted for the reduced speed. Removing the curse or waiting for it to expire can make the remaining objective easier.

Players who want to minimize this risk can collect the deeper Endurance half before opening the Agility lockbox. This is an optional precaution based on historical reports, not a mandatory quest order.

Trial of the Sea Lion Quest Problems and Fixes

Most problems involve missing prerequisites, underwater objects that are difficult to see, or attempts to combine the pendant away from the shrine.

Trial of the Sea Lion Is Not Available

First confirm that your Druid is at least level 16 and has completed the preceding quest, Trial of the Lake.

Trial of the Sea Lion starts with Tajarri near the Shrine of Remulos rather than directly from the faction trainer in Darnassus or Thunder Bluff.

If Tajarri is not offering the quest, check whether the lake trial is still active or whether you have already accepted Trial of the Sea Lion.

Players who skipped an earlier stage should return to Dendrite Starblaze in Nighthaven and inspect their quest log.

The Strange Lockbox Cannot Be Found

The pendant halves are inside underwater containers rather than directly on the seabed as loose items.

At the Darkshore location, search between the V-shaped rocks. In The Barrens, inspect the submerged wooden barrier. For Westfall and Silverpine, locate the bubbling fissure near the deep-water edge.

Map coordinates may change when the game switches between a coastal zone and the Great Sea. Use the environmental landmarks alongside coordinates rather than relying on one number without checking the active map.

If another player has recently opened a shared container, allow time for it to become available again. No reliable Forever-specific respawn timer has been established for these lockboxes.

The Two Pendant Halves Will Not Combine

Return to the Shrine of Remulos near Moonglade 36, 41 and move inside the actual shrine boundaries.

Both halves must be present in your inventory. Right-click Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility to activate its combination effect.

Trying to combine the pendant in Nighthaven, Darkshore, Westfall, The Barrens, or Silverpine does not satisfy the documented shrine requirement.

If the combination succeeds, the resulting item is Pendant of the Sea Lion. Take it to Dendrite Starblaze to complete the current stage.

Aquatic Form Is Missing After Turning In the Pendant

Completing Trial of the Sea Lion with Dendrite Starblaze is not the final step.

Accept the follow-up Aquatic Form quest and return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker or Turak Runetotem, depending on your faction.

Only after completing that final quest should you expect Aquatic Form to appear in your spellbook.

For additional troubleshooting, the traditional faction-specific quest IDs can be checked with the following commands:

/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(272))

The command above checks the Alliance Trial of the Sea Lion. Horde players use:

/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(30))

The final Aquatic Form quest uses ID 5061 for Alliance and ID 31 for Horde. These commands check completion flags and do not grant or reset quests. Their availability depends on the client supporting the displayed API.

Idol of Shifting Tides Is Missing

Current Forever records show Idol of Shifting Tides as an additional reward from the final Aquatic Form quest for both factions.

Earlier beta versions associated the idol with Meddlesome Mages, and players reported a reward-source change around October 1, 2026.

If your character completed Aquatic Form before that update, check the current quest reward information and any available recovery options before assuming the item was permanently removed.

The updated reward record does not establish that every character who completed the quest earlier automatically receives the new idol.

How much faster is Aquatic Form? The spell increases swimming speed by 50% and allows underwater breathing without the normal breath limitation.

Does Aquatic Form require a separate trainer purchase? Current Forever quest records list Aquatic Form as an ability learned through completion of the final class quest. The documented unlock is the quest reward rather than a separate ordinary trainer purchase.

What changed in WoW Forever? The core Aquatic Form spell retains its Classic mechanics. The final quest reward list now includes Idol of Shifting Tides, a new relic that reduces shapeshifting mana costs by a flat 40 mana.

Can Skyborne Druids complete Trial of the Sea Lion? Forever adds Skyborne Druids on both factions, and some Alliance quest entries explicitly include High Order Skyborne. However, full race-specific quest access has not been verified for every stage on both factions. Check your current beta character's class quests.

Can you complete Trial of the Sea Lion above level 16? The traditional quest chain does not require completion at exactly level 16. Characters who postponed it can check their faction trainer and Moonglade quest progress to resume the chain.

Conclusion

Trial of the Sea Lion remains the central step for unlocking Aquatic Form in WoW Forever. Start the level-16 quest chain with your faction's Druid trainer, complete Trial of the Lake, and collect the two pendant halves from the appropriate underwater locations.

Alliance Druids travel to Darkshore and Westfall, while Horde Druids visit The Barrens and Silverpine Forest. After collecting both halves, combine them at the Shrine of Remulos, return to Dendrite Starblaze, and complete the final Aquatic Form quest in Darnassus or Thunder Bluff.

Aquatic Form provides permanent access to faster swimming and underwater breathing, making exploration and aquatic leveling objectives significantly more convenient. Current WoW Forever beta quest records preserve those benefits and expand the final quest rewards with Idol of Shifting Tides.

The traditional pendant coordinates remain the best documented routes, with additional beta confirmation for the Barrens location. Recheck the current client after major beta updates for changes to item locations, new-race quest availability, or the additional idol reward.
