WoW Midnight Season 2 PvP rewards include the Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake, Vicious Lightbloom Boar, Illusion: Venomcoil, a complete Elite class-set appearance, prestigious cloak and tabard, seasonal titles, Solo Shuffle and Battleground Blitz pennants, weapon tokens and additional Season 2 progression rewards.
If you want organized help pursuing the current seasonal rewards, compare our WoW PvP services. For rated Blitz progression, use the Battleground Blitz Boost; traditional organized Rated Battleground objectives remain available through our RBG services.
PvP Season 2 began on August 18, 2026 in North America and August 19 in Europe. The reward structure is now live: 1,800 completes the main Elite armor appearance, 1,950 awards Venomcoil, 2,100 unlocks the prestigious cloak, 2,300 reaches Elite, and Gladiator requires 50 qualifying 3v3 wins while at Elite rank.
This guide focuses on what every PvP milestone actually rewards. For Honor, Conquest, PvP item levels, crafted gear, Catalyst strategy and the current gearing route, use our Midnight Season 2 PvP gearing guide. For a broader explanation of rating brackets, see our PvP rating rewards guide.

When Did Midnight PvP Season 2 Start?
Rated PvP Season 2 opened with the regional weekly reset:
- North America: August 18, 2026;
- Europe: August 19, 2026.
Training Grounds: Arenas were available during the Patch 12.1 pre-season week, but they were not the Season 2 rated ladder. Seasonal rating, Gladiator progress, Venomcoil, Elite achievements and Rank 1 ladder placement began with the actual PvP Season 2 reset.
Midnight Season 2 PvP Rating Rewards
The main PvP cosmetic track progresses through fixed rating milestones. Each rank adds one or more pieces from the Season 2 Elite PvP appearance or a separate prestige cosmetic.
| Rating | Rank | Appearance / Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 | Combatant I | Cloak + Combatant title |
| 1,200 | Combatant II | Legs + Bracers |
| 1,400 | Challenger I | Gloves + Boots + Challenger title |
| 1,600 | Challenger II | Chest + Belt |
| 1,800 | Rival I | Shoulders + Helm + Rival title |
| 1,950 | Rival II | Illusion: Venomcoil |
| 2,100 | Duelist | Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak + Duelist title |
| 2,300 | Elite | Gladiator’s Tabard + “the Elite” title |
The practical breakpoint for the main Elite armor appearance is 1,800 rating. By Rival I you have unlocked the core armor slots used to display the complete class-specific Elite look: head, shoulders, chest, hands, legs, belt, boots, bracers and cloak.
Ratings above 1,800 then move into separate prestige rewards rather than simply completing missing armor pieces.
If your only objective is the class-specific Elite appearance, the WoW Elite PvP Set Boost is more targeted than pushing all the way to Gladiator.

View All PvP Services1,600 Rating — More Than Just Challenger II
Reaching 1,600 rating in Rated PvP has additional Season 2 value beyond unlocking the chest and belt appearances.
The achievement Midnight Season 2: Serpent Scion can be completed through one of three routes:
- reach 1,600 Rated PvP rating;
- reach 2,000 Mythic+ Rating;
- defeat Ula’tek on Heroic or Mythic.
Completing it awards a Crystallized Venomblight Manaflux, providing an additional Matrix Catalyst resource for Season 2.
For a PvP-focused character, 1,600 is therefore an important early gearing breakpoint as well as a cosmetic milestone.
1,800 Rating — Complete the Main Elite PvP Set Appearance
Rival I at 1,800 rating unlocks the final head and shoulder appearances needed for the main Season 2 Elite armor look.
This is why 1,800 is usually the best target for players interested specifically in class transmog rather than higher competitive prestige rewards.
The appearance unlocks progressively:
- cloak at 1,000;
- legs and bracers at 1,200;
- gloves and boots at 1,400;
- chest and belt at 1,600;
- shoulders and helm at 1,800.
Do not confuse the Elite appearance completed at 1,800 with the Elite PvP rank at 2,300. They are different milestones.
If 1,800 and the class-specific transmog are your final goals, use the Elite PvP Set Boost.
1,950 Rating — Illusion: Venomcoil
Illusion: Venomcoil is the signature PvP weapon illusion of Midnight Season 2.
It is awarded by reaching Rival II at 1,950 rating.
Venomcoil adds a green venom-and-root visual effect to compatible weapon transmogs. It is a cosmetic collection unlock and does not increase PvP damage, item level or character stats.
Important distinctions:
- 1,800 is not enough — that completes the main Elite armor appearance;
- 1,950 is the Venomcoil breakpoint;
- 2,100 is not required for the illusion;
- Gladiator is not required;
- unrated PvP does not unlock Rival II.
2,100 Rating — Duelist and Prestigious Cloak
Reaching 2,100 rating awards the Season 2 Duelist milestone.
The main rewards are:
- the seasonal Duelist title;
- the Season 2 Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak.
This cloak is separate from the normal Elite PvP cloak appearance earned at Combatant I. The Duelist cloak is a prestige cosmetic for higher-rated PvP progression.
2,300 Rating — Elite, Tabard and Additional Tier Visuals
2,300 rating is the Elite breakpoint in Midnight Season 2.
Reaching Elite awards:
- the seasonal character title “the Elite”;
- the Season 2 Gladiator’s Tabard;
- eligibility to begin Gladiator win progress in Rated 3v3;
- a PvP route toward the Season 2 special tier-set visual-effects achievement.
Elite Also Unlocks the Sssensational! Reward Path
Season 2 has a separate achievement called Sssensational! that unlocks additional visual effects for the current tier-set appearances.
It can be earned by completing one of:
- Mythic Ula’tek;
- 2,500 Mythic+ Rating;
- Elite rank in Rated PvP during Midnight Season 2.
The reward is an Insidious Venomstone, which unlocks additional visual effects for Season 2 tier-set armor.
This gives transmog collectors another reason to continue from 1,800 to 2,300 even after the main Elite armor tint has been completed.
For the complete class-set appearance system, see our Midnight Season 2 tier-set guide.
Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake
Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake is the Gladiator mount for Midnight Season 2.
The requirement is:
- Reach Elite rank in Rated 3v3.
- Win 50 Rated 3v3 games while at Elite rank.
- Complete the achievement before Midnight Season 2 ends.
Simply reaching 2,300 rating does not award the mount. The 50 qualifying wins are a separate requirement.
Likewise, wins earned before the character satisfies the Elite requirement do not replace those qualifying Elite-level victories.
Can 2v2, Solo Shuffle or Blitz Give the Gladiator Mount?
No. The Goredrake is tied specifically to the Rated 3v3 Gladiator achievement.
These activities do not substitute for the 50 qualifying 3v3 wins:
- 2v2 Arena;
- Solo Shuffle;
- Battleground Blitz;
- Rated Battlegrounds.
If Gladiator is your final goal, use the dedicated WoW Gladiator Boost rather than purchasing a rating objective in a bracket that cannot award the mount.
Vicious Lightbloom Boar
Vicious Lightbloom Boar is the current Vicious rated PvP mount associated with Midnight Season 2.
The Venomous Combatant objective requires qualifying Rated PvP wins while the character is at 1,000 rating or higher.
Completing the current seasonal objective awards a Vicious Saddle that can be exchanged for the Vicious Lightbloom Boar. The mount has Alliance and Horde versions with faction-colored armor.
You do not need Elite or Gladiator rating for this objective. The practical route is whichever eligible rated PvP mode allows you to produce consistent qualifying wins.
If the mount itself is your goal, use the dedicated Vicious Lightbloom Boar Boost.
Venomous Weapons of Conquest — Two Weapon Tokens
Season 2 also includes an important non-rating reward:
Earn 2,500 total Conquest on the character during Midnight Season 2 → receive 2 Venomous Gladiator’s Weapon Tokens.
The achievement tracks Conquest earned, not your current unspent balance. Spending Conquest on armor does not reset progress toward the 2,500 total.
The tokens can be exchanged for eligible Season 2 Gladiator weapons, which is why players should check the token milestone before committing large amounts of early Conquest to a temporary weapon.
If you need to complete the remaining seasonal currency progress, the WoW Conquest Points Boost covers a selected Conquest amount or available cap without mixing currency farming with gear delivery.
If you want a finished Honor, Conquest or specialization-specific PvP setup rather than currency alone, use the WoW PvP Gear Boost.
Solo Shuffle Rewards
Solo Shuffle has three distinct types of rewards in Midnight Season 2:
- general rating milestones such as Rival, Duelist and Elite;
- Season 2 Legend and Battle Mender achievements;
- end-of-season Rank 1 ladder rewards.
Battle Mender: Midnight Season 2
Battle Mender is a healer-specific seasonal title.
Requirement:
- play as a healer;
- reach at least Rival I;
- win 50 Solo Shuffle rounds at or above Rival I during Season 2.
This is a seasonal healer achievement and should not be confused with Legend.
Legend: Midnight Season 2
Legend requires:
- Elite rank in Solo Shuffle;
- 100 rated Solo Shuffle rounds won while at Elite.
The rewards include:
- the seasonal title “the Legend”;
- Venomous Legend’s Pennant.
The achievement counts round wins, not merely completed six-round Solo Shuffle lobbies.
If your goal is the complete achievement rather than only a Solo Shuffle rating milestone, the WoW Legend Title Boost covers the Elite requirement and qualifying round-win progress needed for Legend.
Venomous Legend — Solo Shuffle Rank 1
Venomous Legend is the top Solo Shuffle end-of-season title.
You must:
- finish Season 2 in the top 0.1% or top 8, whichever includes more players, of the relevant Solo Shuffle ladder;
- win at least 50 games during Midnight Season 2.
Unlike the normal Legend achievement, this is based on final ladder placement. There is no permanent fixed rating that guarantees the title because the cutoff changes as the ladder develops.
Solo Shuffle Medic: Midnight
Solo Shuffle Medic: Midnight is different from the Season 2 Battle Mender achievement.
It requires 100 Solo Shuffle round wins as a healer at or above Rival I during Midnight and rewards the Nightfall Legend’s Pennant toy.
Because the achievement belongs to Midnight rather than only Season 2, it should not be presented as the same type of end-of-season reward as Venomous Legend.
Battleground Blitz Rewards
Battleground Blitz has its own Elite-win achievement, healer reward and Rank 1 ladder titles. These are separate from both Gladiator and Solo Shuffle Legend.
Strategist: Midnight Season 2
Strategist requires:
- reach Elite rank in Rated Battleground Blitz;
- win 25 Rated Battleground Blitz matches while at Elite.
It awards the seasonal Strategist title and Venomous Legend’s Pennant.
If Blitz rating is your target, use the WoW Battleground Blitz Boost rather than an Arena package because Gladiator and Strategist use different queues and victory requirements.
Venomous Marshal and Venomous Warlord
The highest Battleground Blitz ladder rewards are faction-specific:
- Venomous Marshal — Alliance;
- Venomous Warlord — Horde.
To qualify, finish Season 2 in the top 0.1% or top 8, whichever is higher, of the relevant Rated Battleground Blitz ladder and complete at least 50 wins during the season.
Like other Rank 1-style rewards, these depend on final ladder placement rather than one permanent rating threshold.
Battleground Blitz Medic: Midnight
Healers can also earn Nightfall Strategist’s Pennant by completing the Midnight-wide Battleground Blitz Medic requirement:
Win 50 Battleground Blitz match rounds as a healer at or above Rival I during Midnight.
Rated Battleground Rank Rewards
Organized Rated Battlegrounds retain a separate top-ladder reward from Battleground Blitz.
The Season 2 achievements are:
- Hero of the Alliance: Venomous;
- Hero of the Horde: Venomous.
Requirement:
- finish in the top 0.5% of the Rated Battleground ladder;
- win at least 50 Rated Battleground games during Midnight Season 2.
Do not confuse these with Venomous Marshal/Warlord. Hero of the Alliance/Horde belongs to traditional Rated Battlegrounds; Marshal/Warlord belongs to Battleground Blitz.
Venomous Gladiator — 3v3 Rank 1 Title
The normal Gladiator achievement and the Venomous Gladiator title are separate objectives.
| Reward | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Gladiator + Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake | 50 Rated 3v3 wins while at Elite rank |
| Venomous Gladiator title | End Season 2 in top 0.1% of 3v3 + at least 150 wins during the season |
The Venomous Gladiator title is an end-of-season ladder reward. Reaching normal Gladiator during the season does not automatically guarantee Rank 1.
Venomous Gladiator, Venomous Legend and Venomous Marshal/Warlord all use final leaderboard placement rather than one fixed permanent rating. For these objectives, use the WoW Rank 1 PvP Boost.
Best Reward Route by Goal
| Your Goal | Stop At / Complete | Main Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Basic seasonal PvP cosmetics | 1,400–1,600 | Most Elite armor pieces + early titles |
| Full main Elite armor appearance | 1,800 | Complete class Elite PvP armor look |
| Weapon illusion | 1,950 | Venomcoil |
| Prestigious cloak | 2,100 | Duelist cloak |
| Tabard + Elite title + tier visual-effect route | 2,300 | Elite rewards |
| Gladiator mount | Elite + 50 qualifying 3v3 wins | Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake |
| Solo Shuffle seasonal prestige | Elite + 100 round wins | Legend + pennant |
| Blitz seasonal prestige | Elite + 25 match wins | Strategist + pennant |
| 3v3 Rank 1 | Top 0.1% + 150 wins | Venomous Gladiator |
| Solo Shuffle Rank 1 | Top 0.1% / top 8 + 50 wins | Venomous Legend |
| Blitz Rank 1 | Top 0.1% / top 8 + 50 wins | Venomous Marshal / Warlord |
Which Rewards Are Time-Limited?
The safest approach is to treat rewards explicitly attached to Midnight Season 2 achievements as seasonal objectives.
Prioritize:
- Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake;
- Vicious Lightbloom Boar through the current Vicious PvP reward track;
- Illusion: Venomcoil;
- Season 2 Elite armor appearances;
- Season 2 Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak;
- Season 2 Gladiator’s Tabard;
- Gladiator and Legend/Strategist seasonal achievements;
- Venomous Gladiator;
- Venomous Legend;
- Venomous Marshal / Warlord;
- Hero of the Alliance / Horde: Venomous.
Achievements labeled simply “Midnight” rather than “Midnight Season 2,” such as the healer Medic pennant achievements, have broader expansion-wide requirements and should be treated separately.
Common Midnight Season 2 PvP Reward Mistakes
- Stopping at 1,800 when you want Venomcoil: the illusion requires 1,950.
- Confusing the Elite armor set with Elite rank: the main armor appearance completes at 1,800; Elite rank is 2,300.
- Expecting the Gladiator mount at 2,300: you still need 50 qualifying Rated 3v3 wins.
- Playing the wrong bracket for Gladiator: Solo Shuffle, Blitz and 2v2 do not award the 3v3 Gladiator mount.
- Confusing Legend with Venomous Legend: Legend is an Elite-round-win achievement; Venomous Legend is an end-of-season ladder title.
- Confusing Strategist with Marshal/Warlord: Strategist uses 25 Elite Blitz wins; Marshal/Warlord depends on final Rank 1 ladder placement.
- Confusing Blitz with RBG: Hero of the Alliance/Horde comes from the traditional Rated Battleground ladder.
- Ignoring 1,600: the rating also provides a PvP route to the Serpent Scion Catalyst reward.
- Ignoring 2,500 earned Conquest: it awards two weapon tokens.
- Waiting until the final days for Rank 1: ladder cutoffs move and cannot be reduced to one fixed rating.
