What Changes with Midnight Season 2
Season 2 is tied to the Curse of Ula’tek content update. Catalyst Checklist: When to Convert Season 2 Gear
The Catalyst converts eligible Season 2 equipment into class-set appearances and tier pieces. It is designed to reduce the effect of unlucky drops, but it does not make every item slot a tier slot. Which Gear Can the Catalyst Convert?
Eligible equipment generally comes from the current season’s major reward sources, such as raid, Mythic+, PvP or other designated endgame activities. The live Catalyst interface is the final authority. If an item cannot be placed into the Catalyst window, it is not eligible regardless of its item level.
Do not consume a charge on a low-quality temporary item unless doing so provides an immediate and meaningful set-bonus improvement.
