Find AION 2 builds and guides for every Global class, from your first levels to endgame PvE and PvP. Our AION 2 guide hub covers class builds, skill and Stigma choices, Daevanion progression, leveling, gear, dungeons, the Abyss, crafting, PvP and other systems that affect your character after the Global launch.
If you are here for a build, start with your class below. Each class guide separates PvE boss builds, solo and AoE setups, safer progression options, Arena builds and group PvP setups instead of forcing one loadout into every type of content.
Not sure where to start? Choose your class first, follow the leveling path to 45, then work on gear, Stigmas and Daevanion progression. If you are still deciding on a main, use our AION 2 Class Tier List to compare all eight launch classes for PvE, PvP, solo play and group value.
AION 2 Builds for All Classes
A build in AION 2 is more than a list of skills. Your active skills, passives, Stigmas, specializations, Daevanion choices and equipment should all support the same goal. That is why our class guides provide separate setups for different activities rather than a single universal build.
AION 2 class builds and guides| Class | Role | Good For | Build Guide |
|---|
| Gladiator | Melee DPS / Bruiser | Solo, farming, PvP, frontline | Gladiator Builds |
| Templar | Tank | Dungeons, bosses, group PvP | Templar Builds |
| Assassin | Melee Burst DPS | Boss DPS, Arena, burst PvP | Assassin Builds |
| Ranger | Ranged Physical DPS | Solo, PvE, farming, PvP | Ranger Builds |
| Sorcerer | Ranged Magic DPS | Boss DPS, AoE, ranged PvP | Sorcerer Builds |
| Spiritmaster | Summoner / Control DPS | Solo, sustained PvE, control | Spiritmaster Builds |
| Cleric | Healer / Support | Dungeons, healing, group PvP | Cleric Builds |
| Chanter | Hybrid Support | PvE, party buffs, hybrid DPS | Chanter Builds |
If your question is simply which class is strongest right now, use the AION 2 Tier List. For Arena, Abyss and competitive matchups specifically, see the AION 2 PvP Tier List.
How AION 2 Builds Work
The strongest build depends on what you are trying to do. A boss-DPS setup may prioritize completely different skills from a solo farming or Arena build.
When comparing AION 2 builds, focus on these systems:
- Active skills and skill points: determine the core rotation and where your damage, healing or defensive value comes from.
- Passives: improve class-specific damage, survivability and other permanent combat bonuses.
- Stigmas: provide additional build-defining abilities and are one of the most important parts of changing your setup for PvE or PvP.
- Skill specializations: change how individual abilities behave and can shift a skill toward damage, AoE, utility or survivability.
- Daevanion progression: adds another layer of skill and character development beyond basic leveling.
- Gear: a good build still needs the correct equipment progression to reach the requirements for harder content.
For the systems behind Stigmas and skill upgrades, read our AION 2 Stigma & Daevanion Guide and Daevanion Board Guide.
AION 2 Beginner and Leveling Guides
If you are starting with the Global version, do not try to optimize endgame systems before you have the progression basics under control.
Our AION 2 Beginner Guide explains what to prioritize during your first week, including leveling, Combat Power, gear, Stigmas and the systems that begin opening as your character develops.
For the actual route to the level cap, use the AION 2 Leveling Guide. It focuses on when to follow the main story, when side content is worth doing and how to avoid wasting time on activities that do not solve your next progression wall.
AION 2 Gear and Character Progression
Reaching the level cap is only the start. Character strength continues through equipment, enhancement systems, skill progression and content-specific rewards.
The AION 2 Gear Progression Guide explains how equipment upgrades fit into the broader progression path. For players working toward dungeon access and harder PvE, our AION 2 Dungeons Guide covers unlocks, requirements and rewards.
Exploration also contributes to progression. The AION 2 Feathers Guide explains Empyrean Traces and Monolith-related progression, while the Flying and Wings Guide covers flight and stamina systems.
AION 2 Dungeons and PvE Guides
PvE progression spans ordinary Expeditions, harder dungeon content, Transcendence activities and Sanctuary encounters.
Start with our AION 2 Dungeons Guide for the overall dungeon path. For higher-difficulty progression, see the Transcendence Dungeons Guide. Individual boss walkthroughs such as the Ludra Boss Guide cover encounter-specific mechanics separately.
If you already understand the encounter but need help completing progression content, our AION 2 Boost services include separate options for leveling, gear, PvE and PvP. We keep that commercial content separate from the informational guides so the guide hub remains useful whether you play entirely on your own or use assistance.
AION 2 PvP, Abyss and Arena Guides
AION 2 PvP is not one game mode. Arena, open-world fights, Abyss activities and organized group combat value classes differently.
Use the AION 2 PvP Tier List for class comparisons, then continue with the AION 2 Abyss Guide for Abyss Points, entry requirements, artifacts and PvP gear progression.
Players focusing on structured matches can also use the AION 2 Arena Guide for modes, rewards and build considerations.
AION 2 Crafting, Professions and Economy
Crafting and gathering matter because character progression is not limited to dungeon drops. The AION 2 Professions Guide covers gathering and crafting progression, while our economy guides explain where important materials and currencies fit into your upgrade path.
Avoid investing heavily simply because an item is technically an upgrade. The better decision is usually the upgrade that gets your character through the next meaningful Combat Power or content requirement without wasting scarce resources.
Latest AION 2 Updates and Live Information
Builds and progression advice can change after balance patches, new seasons and system updates. We therefore keep time-sensitive information separate from evergreen guides.
